Rembrandt's Coffee House

Did i teleport to a quaint town in Europe or is this still Chattanooga? It's hard to tell as you sit and enjoy the beautiful setting at this coffee house. Whimsical and idyllic to say the least.

Everything looks so decadent and tasty, it was hard to choose. I settled on one of my favorites - Almond Croissant with an espresso topped with whipped cream - perfect!

Will definitely be returning on my next trip to Chattanooga and recommend you give them a try.

Wow! What an amazing coffee ☕. Maybe the best I've had so far in the US.
The sandwiches were also very special and big enough.
The service was welcoming and kind. Basically, it's a self-service: you order your food and pick it up.

One of my favorite spots in Chattanooga! It is in a great location, has its own bakery, has created the best atmosphere, and its sweet are second to none. The coffee is much more in the bitter side but has a great taste after a few sips. Many will say this place is like a little taste of Europe in Tennessee. I recommend the tiramisu and to go to the art gallery’s nearby.

A friend and I had brunch one Sunday afternoon. It was perfect weather to sit outside on their patio area. I had the French Toast Breakfast (pictured) with vanilla cream cheese in the middle of the toast and strawberries 🍓 and their homemade whip cream. It was amazing! Lots of yumminess! To drink, I had the most amazing hot tea ☕, lavender, and blueberry (pictured). Both of those really complimented each other in taste. Did not put sugar in my tea. It was perfect without it. I mean, look at the pictures and see how beautiful they both look as well. 💜🍓❤😃😋🤤 The tea smelled so good, too.

My friend had the Nutella croissant with a cold coffee (forgot the flavor and didn't get a picture of either 🤦‍♀🤷‍♀). But my friend stated it was very good. It looked all good. 🩷🤗😃🩷

I will end with we both had great customer service all around! Everyone was so kind and nice, even during the busiest time on a Sunday afternoon. I will definitely be going back. It's located in one beautiful area of Chattanooga, TN.

Have loved this beautiful place for years! Such a staple place in the Scenic City!😊 Coffee is delicious, the area is beautiful, the desserts are divine. They will have you yearning to go back the next day until you go back for both the coffee and desserts. They have a lot of birds that are so cute that come to the tables to greet you.Highly recommended.♥

Rembrandt's Coffee House is a cozy haven for coffee enthusiasts and a welcoming space for all. Nestled in the heart of Chattanooga, it's a place where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air, and the soothing ambiance invites you to relax and unwind. With a variety of coffee blends, artisanal pastries, and a selection of teas, Rembrandt's caters to different tastes. It's an ideal spot to catch up with friends, read a book, or simply enjoy a moment of tranquility in the bustling city.

Had cafe au lait, blueberry muffin, and a coconut macaroon. Coffee and food were delicious; ambience and atmosphere even better! Go when the weather is nice because the patio is so beautiful and relaxing with vines growing overhead to provide just the right amount of shade. All the greenery surrounding it drowns out the street noise and you feel like you could be in your own backyard.

Good place, like their iced chai latte and requested light on sugar. I think for me that was still a little sweet but very refreshing and taste was right on target.
Coconut Macaroons were next level good. Service was great, it was raining that day so could not sit out. Overall 5 star rating. Highly recommend.

This was my first time to try this coffee place out. I ordered a mocha and an almond croissant and it came out to be a little bit over $9. The outside sitting area is dog friendly and it's very pretty. The bathrooms were very clean and the associates were very friendly. I would recommend trying this place out and then taking a short walk to see the river from uptop.

A unique spot to enjoy coffee, pastries, chocolate and sandwiches in an Old World setting. A wonderful outdoor patio that is perfect for socializing or doing some work. The bread for sandwiches is made on site and the beans are their own Special brand. The chocolate is made on site and rivals any high end chocolate shop anywhere in the world. My daughter and I enjoyed Chi Lattes, which were smooth and creamy goodness with the perfect amount of spice. It was $8.16 for two regular cups. Parking can be a challenge and they don’t have a drive-through window, but going in and spending time savoring your coffee is what this family owned shop is made for.

A delicious assortment of pastries. It was tough to narrow it down to only a couple. Their chocolate boat and eclair were both lovely, as were their specialty lattes. This place does get busy but the line moved relatively quickly and gave us time to careful pick out which pastries we wanted. The location is also great if you’re looking to explore the area afterwards.

Lovely coffee shop to seat and enjoy your coffee with a sweet pastry. We have expresso, green tea, lemon tart and fruit tart yummy… The service was great, there is plenty of paid parking and seating at the coffee shop to unwind.

Excellent little coffee shop! Situated in the Arts district of Chattanooga, this coffee shop has a great selection of coffee, tea, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and fresh breads. There is limited inside seating but there is a large patio area for when the weather is nice. We will definitely be going back! There were also several gluten-safe options on tbe menu as well.

This was such a unique, quaint coffee house. They have an amazing selection of treats - including cookies, brownies, danishes, and pastries. The also have breakfast and sandwiches that looked delicious. We got some wonderful lattes and a cream cheese danish and some cookies that we thoroughly enjoyed. Seating inside is limited but they have a beautiful little courtyard to enjoy outside. I definitely recommend seeking this neat spot out if you are in the area.

A Euro coffee/dining spot! I really don't know what to call this place. It was excellent food. And the coffee was great! But the atmosphere was very European and it was completely comfortable.

This is the kind of place you want to become a regular. It was busy, but the line moved quickly.

It gets a little hectic because you're grabbing your drink coffee shop style standing at the end of the long display case area. The barista brings it out and sets it on the side. The water is self-service. If you order a juice they put that out in the coffee delivery area. Then a little later your food will show up.
So you're kind of hanging out waiting for your stuff. And there's a lot of activity!

But all that aside, the food was excellent, the coffee was hot and savory!

The icing on the cake for this place is really the outside patio area. They have an inside area but I didn't get a good look at it. Looks clean and neat.

The outside dining area is a wisteria covered patio with vines and planters. Little birds flitting around looking for crumbs... Felt like I was dropped into France or Italy. The stucco walls and big lanterns all give it a European feel.

It's a really nice spot for a morning conversation or to catch up with friends.

There are a couple of 30 minute parking spots so you can pull in and grab something. There is on street parking and a small parking lot as well.

I would recommend taking a stroll down to the sculpture garden that overlooks the river area. If you have any coffee left take your cup and go for a walk.

Adorable patio dining. Their drinks are fantastic and plenty of sandwich options as well as baked goods. There’s tuna salad and grilled cheese for non-meat eaters. There’s also bread loaves for sale! It’s a vibe!

One of the best coffee shops in Chattanooga, and such a great place to hang out. Worth coming by even if you leave on the other side of town, you won’t regret it. Highly recommend!

Such a great atmosphere and amazing staff. We loved every breakfast item and pastry, with a great coffee selection. We came here twice on our trip to Chattanooga, and could not resist from getting coffee sandwiches and pastry. A must do if you visit this beautiful city.
