Jax Liquor Store

I think this is Chattanooga's #1 liquor store. I don't typically drink but this should be your first stop if you are looking for some alcohol to either entertain with, bake with, or gift.

The experience is further enhanced with the very pleasant and professional staff and owners. I cannot say enough good things about them. If they don't have it, they can get it.

A visit to Jax Liquor Store in downtown Chattanooga, TN proved to be delightful. Their varied selection of wine, bourbon, and other spirits makes for an impressive spectacle—truly a haven for enthusiasts. The real charm, however, lies in their friendly employees, creating a pleasing shopping experience with their impeccable service and knowledgeable advice.

HUGE selection of everything from wine and beer to whiskey and tequila! And a lot of oddities and liqueurs to compliment them!

Had some hard to find liquors at a great price. The employees were very professional and helpful , they went out of their way to help me and I also purchased a bottle of their single barrel New Riff Bourbon which tasted pretty good. They also had that Uncle Nearest 1856 and 1884. Thanks to the Rep that Customized my bottle of Angels Envy. I will be back!!!

Probably the cleanest most amazing liquor store I have ever visited. They had our moonshine we were looking for and every any kind of beverage you could want. I was able to choose a cigar from the walk in humidor and the cashier was friendly and provided me with sleeve bags for my shine. The store was simple to navigate and we had no problem finding our treasures. They have their own lot to park so the camper was no problem. I would recommend a visit if your in the area!😀

I have yet found a location in the Chattanooga area that consistently has affordable and close to retail price for my go to bourbons. They are not out to take advantage of the unnatural influx of certain bottles.
Good staff, and parking is convenient which is harder and harder to say about downtown Chattanooga locations

The best selection of wine and spirits I've seen in a long time. I knew exactly what I was looking for but the clerk was friendly and offered assistance if I needed it. He even recommended some other brands/flavors that were similar to what I was buying.

We are new to the North Shore area and sometimes, you just aren't sure how people will treat you.....well I am more than happy to say each visit has been wonderful. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help find that perfect wine selection...this is one of my favorite beverage places in Chattanooga.

The cigar room is awesome and I don't smoke but I still appreciate the design of the room and the options available.

Friendly and helpful staff. A great selection. They even do a good job of monitoring the parking lot so there is available parking. I recommend stopping by when traveling if you can.

Very expansive selection. One thing I would have liked to have seen was more local (or local-ish) wine / beer / spirit sections. We were visiting Chattanooga for the weekend and I would have loaded up on local stuff to take home. Tons of options though that I had never seen before, so still left with some interesting new finds.

A very nice visit to Jax today. They have a good selection and friendly staff. I was looking for whiskey and found their prices on high end whiskeys to be lower than other stores in the area by about 20%. Purchased Chattanooga Whiskey today and will definitely return.

Always helpful. They have a good selection,and prices considering, its smack in the middle of downtown. It gets busy on the weekends but the handle the flow of people very very well

New store is fantastic. Hell of an upgrade. Prices seem out of this world, but I'm from Canada where we pay taxes just to smell booze. Selection seems great too, but again, Canada. Our government overlords don't like to bring stuff into the country if the bottles looks too cool. Raise a glass... to 'Merica.

This place has a big inventory. You will find what you need here. I normally go to another store but I found myself here because I could not stop at my usual store. I was impressed with the selection offered.
