It's a convenience store. Conveniently close to the hotel I am staying at and conveniently open. Beer prices and selection were both better than I expected considering the size of the place. Had planned on getting a six pack of PBR or similar, but because they weren't gouging I splurged and got a tasty Mexican lager from a local brewery (Naked River).

If you live between 5th-MLK from Chestnut to Cherry St. you know this spot. It’s not exactly a friendly experience as the two dudes who behind the counter/glass usually grunt as much as speak to you if you greet them upon entering the store but given some of the craziness that goes on late, well just anytime downtown, I sorta get it. the prices on some normal things are surprisingly better than the DGX.

Love Ria’s, especially on Main, please start selling the t-shirts! Would gladly pay $20 for one

Good for beverages, tobacco, and snacks

Went into this store(wheelchair) for the first time to get a cold drink and a pack of cigarettes in August.
Since I'd never been there I thought I'd quickly walk around, since a line of 6/8 with beer & an extremely small store.
I might had grabbed a snack, not important to this review.
When entering the store I noticed a fountain drink machine, just what I needed...ICE!!
I made a lg cup, decided when in a long line to fill with coke.
I was treated Very rudely!!???
Cashier/Owner had communiated with a customer to find out if I had stolen! Lookout!
He wanted to charge me for Ice and a Coke! One Cup!
I am a white female in my mid 50's. Definitely don't look homeless or up to no good.
I will never forget that day. He also was screaming at me when I questioned his behaviors.
This is strictly a beer and cig store & Not clean and shady.
Watch out for being Overcharged!! He is of the Middle Eastern decent, their men do not respect women at all.

Update on my previous review.
I've been to Ria's and dreaded to do so. To my pleasant surprise there obviously have new owners. Courtesy, cleanliness (as much as possible) and helpful. I am changing my rating to a 4*... Only because of the size/product ratio (unavoidable¿)... there's a big noticable improvement. Have returned a few times since.

I have continued to return to Ria's weekly giving them good business and I have been treated with the upmost respect ever since my last review. They're very helpful and already know what I plan to buy. They're very helpful to me with getting items from within the store instead of me having to do, it's not handicap friendly but once inside this Family will accomidate you making sure you're in n out..a quick stop with snacks, beverages to your liking.

Their markup is a little high. But they’re always stocked up and clean.

I would love to see them carry bread. This is a very convenient place to pick up milk if you live downtown.
