Moon®Pie General Store

What a step back in time! My grandfather and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this iconic store. We didn’t know what to do being surrounded by so many moon pies and RC colas! Lots of flavors to choose from and plenty souvenirs to choose from if you can’t take a snack or drink home.

Kinda like taking a step back in time when you enter the Moonpie General Store. From the hand dipped ice cream, to the rc & moon pies to pick from! If you love moon pies, they got something you'll love, with various flavors to pick from! Plenty of novelty items to pick from and take home as well. The staff were super friendly & welcoming, the store was very clean and well maintained! Definitely a neat little place to stop by!

More moonpies than you can shake a stick at! If you love moonpies this is the place. I have never seen so many unique flavors. Lots of moonpie branded merchandise too.
Other than moonpies, standard tourist candy/toy store items. Old time candy, taffy, etc.

Did I know that I needed a Moonpie specific store? Not until I saw this place.
It was actually really awesome to see this part of Southern culture in this format. Also cool to be able to find all of the interesting items here.

Great place...especially if you have a love for Moon Pies and the older sodas that you just can't find anywhere.

As a child, I grew up in the mountains & down south. My favorite drink was actually an rc cola. So this store brought back so many memories for me. My husband & I took our 3 yr old to visit Chattanooga for the first time & she loved this store! Her eyes lit up! Thank you for giving my child a great first❤

Awesome experience whole new meaning to the moon and back. If you haven’t already tried a moon pie or RC Cola this is the place to go. So so Friendly.

Small but worth the stop if you are around the river front.

Hidden among the shops on this busy street, definitely worth the stop. Wide variety of quirky nostalgic items, including a large variety of Moon Pies. Also, ice cream and a soda fountain/hot dog bar.

I love moon pies and was excited when I found out about this place. Lots of other stuff other than moon pies. You can get an ice cream sundae with a moon pie (i regret not doing this!). It looked so good! I loved this place so much, I went every day I was in the area.

Thank you to the entire store including the manager and warehouse. Called in to buy 2 gift baskets, from out of town, and they went above and beyond!

A treat!!!! I didn't know moon pies originated in Chattanooga. I also didn't know there were other flavors than banana and chocolate. Our grandson 💙 enjoyed. Well, we enjoyed having him with us during this first visit to the store.

We LOVE the Moonpie General Store!!! The employees are WONDERFUL and so helpful. Their attitudes are infectious!! The Redneck 6-pk (Moonpies & RC Cola) are great for visitors and locals alike! AND they sell Hoff & Pepper BBQ sauces!!! (Delicious) If you're downtown it's a must!!! GREAT PLACE!!!

Awesome! I've been eating Moon Pies my whole life so to be able to visit their general store in the town where they started was a treat for me. I'm glad my kids noticed the sign! Walked out with a bunch of Moon Pies, several different sodas to sample, and memorabilia. We all really enjoyed visiting.

The Moon pie 🌙 general store is fantastic a lot of items to buy,gifts,postcards, toys,shirts and ornaments. It's a need to go if your coming to Chattanooga.

As a food blogger for A Pinch of Butter Food Blog I am a true Moon Pie fan and when I came to Chattanooga, TN I knew I had to visit this store. They have so much to choose from and I even found souvenirs to take back to my family.

Dropped in with some friends. I can't eat Moon Pies (celiac) but, my family can. The chocolate mint are a huge hit. Also, found Teaberry gum! Moon Pies and gum for stocking stuffers! ;-)
