First time visiting and had a great experience, would definitely return. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly. The fried goat cheese appetizer was phenomenal, the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The crab cakes were just ok, wouldn't say they were worth the money and the sauce should've been on the side. The corn bread had a great flavor, but was hard to get a piece that didn't crumble into tiny pieces. The chicken and dumplings however were fantastic, a perfect dish for a cold night. My party also very much enjoyed their drinks. Only negative was the noise level, it was hard for us to hear each other speak.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Gray Stone. The owners have created a beautiful restaurant from an old stone building. The interior is beautifully decorated and the food is always excellent. I had the Grilled Octopus appetizer and an excellent Jambalaya for lunch. My wife had the Mediterranean Shrimp Flatbread Appetizer and a large Chicken Caesar Salad as an entree, much of which we took home, as the portions were generous. The Gray Stone has an extensive wine list and an attentive staff. We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary and were given a gift card by the owner for a return visit. This is one of our favorite special occasion restaurants. On busy evenings, valets will park your car across the road in the overflow lot. In warmer months, there is outdoor dining as well. Right from the start a few years back, they have had large crowds of loyal diners and are often packed, which is a testimony to their consistency in quality food and service. Prices are comparable to many other restaurants in the Newtown, PA vicinity. Reservations are recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this place, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. Despite hearing a few negative reviews, I decided to give it a chance, and I'm so glad I did.

First and foremost, let's talk about the drinks. They were absolutely delightful! Each sip was a burst of flavor, expertly crafted by their talented bartenders.

Now, onto the food. Wow! The flavors were in season, and the presentation was top-notch. It's evident that the chefs put a lot of thought and care into every dish they serve.

But what truly sets The Grey Stone apart is their exceptional customer service. The staff and manager went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of perfect. They were friendly, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great time.

Needless to say, I'll definitely be returning, and I can't wait to bring along my best friend to share in the experience. If you're looking for a place with great drinks, delicious food, and outstanding service, look no further than The Grey Stone. It's a rare gem indeed!

We held a bridal shower for our future daughter in law in the Lion's Den Room (upstairs) and the Grey Stone made the event very special! Everyone loved the ambience of the restaurant and the food! The event planner and staff did an outstanding job! The room and tables looked beautiful . The service was excellent. The future bride and groom, family and friends really enjoyed themselves. We loved hosting there!

Tonight was my second time in two weeks dining at the Grey Stone. Keep in mind, we live over an hour from the restaurant and it was undeniably worth the drive. My wife and I enjoyed a date night here two weeks ago and tonight celebrated my birthday. Each time did not disappoint. Dan is phenomenal. Walked us through the menu, offered recommendations and was very personable and attentive. We were also greeted by the owner both times and thanked for dining with them. The food is awesome (highly recommended the short rib). We will absolutely be back. Perfect spot for a date night or celebratory dinner. The restaurant is also very clean and well kept.

I have been going to Greystone for networking events.

Tried out plenty of their appetizers and have ordered a pear cider, which the bar tender highly suggested

It was refreshing!

I’ll update for more when I sit in and dine as I was just here multiple times for networking events

After driving by the Grey Stone hundreds of times, we finally got a chance to try it out for our anniversary dinner. We had heard good things, and we were not disappointed. We booked via OpenTable, and were happy to see that they had openings on a Saturday night.

The interior decor was very nice…modern, yet classic and quaint; a nice balance. Service was very pleasant and professional. We were very pleased with the server, her helpers, and the management stopped by on occasion to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Always a good sign to see an involved ownership that cares about their service!

We were very happy with our meals! The peppercorn steak was perfectly prepared and had ample sides provided, and the crab cakes were outstanding. They have a creative drink menu with cocktail options for everyone. And the beer menu is very impressive, even to a craft beer lover like me.

Our only bit of critique is that when we ordered our second round of drinks when our meal arrived, it didn’t arrive until we were almost done our meals. But it was a Saturday night, and we understand that things can get busy. The service really was trying their best and were very accommodating throughout the night, so we didn’t let that sour what we thought was a great evening.

We look forward to coming back when the weather improves and when the kids come back from college so we can eat out on their patio!

We just had an amazing dinner!!! We started out with an amuse-bouche of Scallops that were out of this world. Then we had Octopus and it was so incredibly tender. For dinner we had the Red Snapper and it was cooked to perfection. We ended the evening with dessert and coffee. Well worth the hour drive in each direction. Can't wait to come back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here today. Menu offerings were for summer. Started off with a Lion in the Sequel Cocktail which was refreshing. The appetizer of choice was Cantaloupe Gazpacho; Entree was Short Rib; Dessert Chocolate Raspberry Tart and Pineapple Caramel Rum Sorbet with a Cappuccino with Almond Milk. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was relaxing, beautiful and delightful! I cannot wait to come back!

Wow wow wow! Went for a late lunch and left feeling so pleased. Had two apps and a side and each was so delicious. Three way tie! Dessert menu was also inspiring but went with the lemon tart. All dishes were great portions and our server Lauren was attentive, friendly and professional. We ate on the outside patio and when done we walked around to look at the lovely grounds and the other outside patio eating areas and John offered to give us a tour of the inside. So lovely and unique- great place for birthday parties, wedding parties or a date.

I tried this place 3 times before posting the review. Had a chance to sit on the 2nd floor on Valentine’s eve, the first floor on fronds get together and the outdoor patio which is absolutely awesome. Each time it was a different server and the service was excellent starting with helping to pick a drink and finishing with checking on us constantly but not too often. The drinks and food were amazing too, including deserts. Also complimentary vallet parking on weekends is a great part of it.

Lovely place, delicious food, very accommodating with food allergies, lovely, friendly host! I have come here several times and am always impressed with the food and overall! I have had the crabcakes here, which were by far the best I have had anywhere, and now tried the new smashburger, which was fantastic, and came with a side of gluten free fries, and they even had a gluten free bun!

We had an amazing time at Grey Stone! The food and drinks were delicious, the staff was so friendly and each area of the restaurant was more beautiful than the next. The outdoor area is gorgeous as well. We started with drinks and the fried goat cheese and calamari. We had the short rib entree, the fig jam burger, and the prime cheesesteak for our entrees. Everything was amazing!

My wife is immuno-suppressed. We can't risk her getting sick, even with a cold. Her birthday, 1-Feb, was approaching. I tried calling a few restaurants to see if they could accommodate a party of 5 in a secluded area of the restaurant. Grey Stone crushed it. They put us at a 5 top table IN OUR OWN ROOM with a stone fireplace!!! Now this was an early reservation on a Thursday night so they were not crowded. But Jen and the Grey Stone made us feel so comfortable. I got the pork shank - best piece of meat I ever had. Can't thank Grey Stone enough for making my wife's birthday so special. Best experience ever.

Donna took amazing care of us. She recommended several excellent cocktails, appetizers and entrees. I particularly enjoyed the chicken chili nachos, the fried goat cheese and the strip steak. Parking was easy with the valet.
