This is a beautiful park. There is a three and a half mile bike path right alongside the water canal. The scenery is beautiful and serene. There are many homes with backyards that are right up against the canal. The homeowners and park visitors take great care to keep their yards and park clean. People are friendly and respectful. The park is very historic along with a fascinating history. There is a beautiful historic covered bridge and plaques along the way explaining the history of the park. There is also a a bathroom along the bike path for those needing a break. There are great and plenty of photo opportunities. A great place to spend a nice cool day.

Perfect for a hike or bike ride. Clean paths without any bumps or holes to navigate. All set in a beautiful part of our country.

Beautiful location to start walking the canal. There's an old lockhouse where you can pick up some brochures and speak with a park ranger. This lock has an elevation change and a diverter for the water while the lock is in use.

Beginner trail, almost flat for easy distance biking and AMAZING views of the canal and NJ. stop at the park on your ride to use the bathroom and fill up your water, and toss any trash you got

This is a very convenient hiking destination. However there are many bicycles and because of that a hiker has to be constantly on a lookout.

Wow, the solidarity amongst all campers and the fun one has is unmatched. Best place ever for all activities are awesome and no law enforcement interaction unless they checking for permits. But ultimately, it is fair play. Make sure you plan right. The rules are you make your own rules but make sure you understand you are in the wild and respect nature so that others can enjoy as well. So that we may all continue to camp for a long period of times without having to be regulated.

Lovely walk along the canal. We started at Tinicum Park where there is ample parking and a restroom, and walked North to the Uhlerstown Covered Bridge. It was very picturesque, with a steep wooded slope to the west side of the canal and fields to the right.

I was on a 4 day bike trip with Pocono Biking. It was a beautiful trail and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather. We were heading to New Hope. This was probably my favorite day!

Riding our bikes on the path and seeing the locks was great. Please keep up the good work on them. Don't let them deteriorate. We love history.

The Delaware Canal Park is a great place to park your car and access the canal tow path. They have rest room facilities and information about the canal and wildlife and events happening at the park. The park office is located about 1.4 miles south of Upper Black Eddy and about 3.5 miles north of Tinicum Park. The tow path is a great place for a winter's morning walk or a spring, summer, fall bike ride.

Great loop of trails. 1-2% grade. Easy to ride with great views of the Delaware and little colonial style towns.

I live on the canal all seasons, all weather. My job gives me the freedom to walk 3-6 miles daily and no place better then the canal. Biking, running, walking best choice in the area
