Tony's Place Bar & Grill

Was in town for a wedding a bunch of different people recommended coming here for a "Tomato pie" and it was well worth it. We split a small as a appetizer for the table wish we would of got a large. The chicken parm was solid and so was the sandwich. One of our personal favorites was the sweet potato fries with the maple syrup dipping sauce. Lots of available seating on a Friday night inside and outside. Parking lot is big and had open spots as well. Overall a solid place a 8.3/10. Give it a try.

The original Tony's Place in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia was where I "cut my teeth" on tomato pies back in the late 1990s. Unfortunately, they closed a few years back. I will say that while I don't think Tony's Place Bar & Grill is as good as the original Tony's was, the tomato pie was absolutely delicious and very reminiscent of the old bar off of Frankford Avenue! The crisp, "paper thin" crust, tangy sauce on top of the right amount of cheese, and the garlic aftertaste had me as close to the 90s as I'll get these days!! It was more than easy to eat all eight slices!

Always amazing food and tonight is no exception. Tony's Steak Salad is simple divine. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The cider braised short ribs were fork-tender and so flavorful!

Tony's Bar and Grille is an absolute favorite of mine. The moment I walk in, I'm enveloped in a cozy and friendly ambiance, making it the perfect place for a relaxed evening out. The menu is a delightful mix of classic and inventive dishes, and everything I've tried has been nothing short of delicious. Their signature cocktails are expertly crafted, and the attentive staff is always ready with recommendations. What truly sets Tony's apart is the dedication to quality and customer satisfaction – they go above and beyond to make each visit special. It's become my go-to spot for great food, good company, and an all-around fantastic dining experience.

The outdoor seating is amazing here. Great vibe with a wide food menu. A few good beers on tap. The servers and service is excellent.

Tony’s is THE BEST restaurant I’ve ever had the privilege eating from. The blackened chicken Alfredo is my favorite dish they serve. Specifically the blackened chicken is a genius topping to go along with the fettuccine.

I always get an order of boneless wings and that combo hits the spot every time. It’s cooked very well and just the right size to have a fulfilling snack

When I have family and friends over and we decide to order, I immediately mention Tony’s and their elk burger. And I have to say, it’s a fan favorite. At least 2 people order it when we have a large order. We also get their buffalo chicken dip. Very filling

I’ve never actually been to Tony’s, I’ve only ordered through DoorDash. The food is top tier and always comes cooked properly.

Great food and service, with an excellent patio! All of our meals were delightful, and our waitress was attentive and engaging. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommended.

Great place to eat flatbread pizzas. Also great environment for a date or having a beer with a buddy.

There were 9 of us. Everyone ordered different things and were satisfied: Crispy Zucchini, Orange Cranberry Salad with grilled tuna, BBQ Mixed Grille (highly recommended!), Shrimp & Grits, West Coast Burger. All salads were very fresh.
I just didn't like the sangria.

Tony's is a great place to stop. Whether it's for a quick drink and some apps or a full-on meal, you'll be happy you stopped in.
The food is better than what you'd expect for the price, and there's a decent beer menu.
Their pork belly tacos are seasonal, but if they're on the menu..... they're sure to be the best you've ever had!
Service is definitely top notch here, too..... I've been here several times and I have yet to be disappointed with anything.

I have never went to a bar before so this was a new experience. I was welcomed by the staff at the front and decided to take a high table. My server Jen.D was very kind and help me pick out some interesting dishes. I ordered a pizza,chicken wings and lamb chops. I decided to take the famous Tony tomato pie and to my surprise it was really thin. The chicken wings were very crispy and tender. Overall, I enjoyed all the dishes I ordered and am sure to come back again

Our server Taylor was absolutely incredible and the staff was all so nice. Great food, great atmosphere, and great wait staff!

Excellent food. Very busy on Saturday night so make reservations. Extensive menue. If you can't find something here to your tastes you ain't trying!

One of the best outside dining spots around. Great food choices, nice bar with a really good draft list, fantastic service. Had the sausage & rapini grinder - spicy and delicious!

We've been here every night for our trip to Southampton for a funeral. Lucas and Jamie have been our bartenders the whole time and are amazing at what they do. They food is amazing too. It's all because of Lucas we bought dinner for 15 people in our party during the trip. Way to run a great local place that feels like a tight run corporate restaurant. We can't wait to come back to visit family and know this will be the place we will night cap or have a great dinner. Regardless of what experience we chose, we will know it will be consistent and enjoyable. Last tip, sit on the patio if there's space. Every restaurant does pre closing stuff, and I never felt ignored.

We had a lovely summer day out on the patio at Tony's Place. It made for a nice breezy lunch. I tried their salad special, Peach Mozzarella Salad. The dressing was delicious. Prompt friendly service.

Really nice casual place. Stopped here for a beer and lunch with my wife one day last week. Nice beer selection. The menu had some great options, but we went with the pizza. We sat in the bar area and the bartender was our server. She was really good and made us feel welcome. If we lived closer it would definitely be a regular place that we would go to.
