CVS

I've got to say when it comes to CVS I'm always sceptical because they have some of the most arrogant pharmacists I've ever encountered. When I called this location in search of a specific medication that has been difficult to fill the pharmacist told me on the phone that she wouldn't necessarily fill it, that she would access the prescription and my meed for it and that she would only fill it at her discretion. I thought that was extremely unnecessary and very brazen for her implication that she would override the doctor's prescription if she felt like it. It totally rubbed me the wrong way and I went there fully expecting a problem and a combative pharmacist. I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptionally fast service and the kindness of a woman named Nancy who was extremely pleasant and very helpful. The pharmacist did not question the prescription and it was filled effectively and cost significantly less than the medication I had to replace. So my lesson learned is not to base my opinion of an establishment based on one rude employee. The lecture I got on the phone was completely unnecessary but I took a chance and went there anyway and was treated very well by other employees. I want to also say that they run the most efficient CVS pharmacy I've ever been to. They were well staffed and safely dispensed prescriptions in a very timely manner. I definitely recommend this location in Newtown.

Nice store. Nice amazing pharmacity. Tough place to work in these times. They try their best. Customers bring a lot of impatience at times i see. Instant gratification is not always possible. Always had nice experience with all areas of this store. Pharmacy, minute clinic and store itself.

I can't believe people are saying negative things about this CVS. I have been using it for 20 years or more. Whenever I can't find something they always stop what they are doing, walk me over to the area for what I want.
Even though the pharmacy is ALWAYS busy, any questions I've had they were always ready to answer my questions. Pleasantly, I might add, stopping what they were doing to answer my questions.

The Pharmacy Manager was very helpful and went above and beyond. She even called to remind me that the pharmacy was about to close for the day knowing I needed my Rx. Thank you for taking good care of us.

The Pharmacist Priti Patel is awesome! My doctor was suppose to call me a prescription in ASAP (but didn't) she went above and beyond and called my doctor within seconds and received the prescription that i needed to go home and rest. Thank goodness for her if it wasn't for all that Priti did i would have been standing around for who knows how long. Now that girl at the drop off counter is a different story, i think it should have been her job to at least inform me that my doctor didn't call it in and she should get off her cell phone.

This is a newer CVS on a nice quiet street. Very convenient and has
a drive through to drop off or pick up scripts. Can't ask for more.

I've never seen long lines there not sure what that comment is about.

I had an appointment at the minute clinic and I must say the NP I seen was one of the best providers I’ve ever seen. She was very knowledgeable and I wish she was my primary care provider! Thanks NP Nguyen!

I frequent CVS all the time. The pharmacists and staff are extremely helpful I’ve never had a bad experience at this neighborhood pharmacy.

Kind and courteous workers throughout store. Pharmacy always busy but girl who handles scripts and insurance is knowledgeable and very friendly.

Staff is always helpful. I have used clinic, Covid-19 testing, and pharmacy since the store was built. Reliable community store with good customer service.

Its a pharmacy and quick stop for anything and everything.

I just used the Minute Clinic at CVS and had a very good experience. Polite and efficient doctor.

It's so closeeeee and i like it

This CVS is prompt and efficient and had the medicine I needed. I took away one star because it is almost impossible to call first. you sit on the phone forever, which is still ok if they played nice music instead of nonstop blathering about covid and especially getting shots etc. Say it once. When you push it nonstop on the phone 20 times I feel suspicious of all the pestering. They must make a ton of money off those things.
