I thought this place was great! I loved the atmosphere and the service. Great beer selection! I ordered the whiskey maple bbq Smash burger. My burger was good, but I was expecting there to be a whisky maple bbq sauce on It, and also, there was only a bite of the shaved steak in the burger. I was expecting a nice fat stack of shaved steak dripping with a nice sauce, but it was very dry. I got a Cesar salad on the side. I love that they use kale in the salad that was a nice switch up. I also got the New Orleans rum cake. It was delicious! I got a nice fat slice of cake with whipped cream on the side. It was boozy. I ordered a couple of brews that I was satisfied with. I will return but will order something else next time. The service was very good, the staff here was friendly and I felt welcomed.

Our server Dave was amazing! He gave great recommendations and was super attentive. Our food was very flavorful and we would definitely go back!

We found The Reservoir via Google after a long travel day. I have to say they’re amazing from the vibes to the service to the food 10/10 we will be back!!

We can't thank the staff enough for the hospitality and great service you provided for us. My two daughters and I were very tired from a long trip and got there at closing time. Despite being a busy end of the night, you welcomed us and made us feel like home. We immediately felt better, thanks to the great attitude of the whole crew. On top of that, the food was excellent.
10 out of 10 to the whole experience there.

Stopped in and grabbed a quick dinner. Had the wings, they were great. Service was a bit short staffed. Overall good experience, one of my go to spots in Waterbury.

Stopped in for lunch after touring Ben and Jerrys and had a fantastic meal. The BBQ Maple Burger and Fish and Chips were awesome!

Awesome place! We were on the wait list for 30 minutes and it was well worth the wait. We sat at the bar until our table was ready, and their Maple Whiskey was fantastic 🫶🏾. Dinner was filling and delicious and I loved the vibe.

Crab cakes and Mac and cheese were to die for we did that as our main course and then mine was COD fish and chips. Service was great at waitress was a sneaky water wraith in and out didnt even see her.

The reservoir beer pub is located on main Street at the end of Stowe road. This puts it on a very easy 3/4 mile walk from the Best Western motel in Waterbury. My wife had suggested this, but I had reservations because other reviews indicated service was very poor recently. That turned out not to be the case as service was fast and friendly despite the pub being very full. The deck is set back from the street and quieter than inside. All tables outside were filled.

I am not much of a beer drinker since I am the designated driver usually. Since we walked, I was able to get the Von Trapp Helles Golden Lager on draft. I had the Vermont burger which was better than average.

My wife enjoyed the Switchback ale. She enjoyed the seared salmon.

I was glad she dissuaded me from my choice. One of our better choices on this trip.

I have been hunting down the best burgers in the state of VT. This place was on a top 10 list. Wow I had the bacon Blu burger and it was FIRE. I was loving the vide inside the place as well. My favorite poutine in Vermont! Drinks are great. Every time my family visits we always make a stop. My parents usually have the pulled pork and they both really enjoy it. Parking is a little limited but there is a lot behind the restaurant.

Everything was banging.
Honey jerk wings were bomb.
Also had the buffalo Mac, chipotle chicken sandwich, and a house burger. They have 39 beers on tap and I can't complain. Bit of a wait on a Saturday but worth it.

Great place to hit up for dinner and a beer after skiing or just even hanging out in the great state of Vermont!

This is the best place in Waterbury VT. Just ask a local. They have an extensive and very interesting menu. All the food was exceptional. My steak was cooked to perfection and had a sauce that was amazing. The maple creme brulee was beyond delicious. I loved the pretzels. The biscuits were amazing. And the place is an an amazing little Vermont Town. The wait staff was amazing and helped me get an easy to access table. Thanks so much for an amazing night out!!!

This place has the best food in the area IMO! They have a wonderful cocktail menu as well. Very cozy place to recommend after a day on the slopes. The staff know everything and will set you up well. 5/5 will come again.

This place is great! The poutine was good, but the cheesesteak and the Big Tree burger were both excellent! The cheesesteak had a cheese sauce that was a mixture of various cheeses the waitress would not reveal to us, and the burger had apples and maple syrup! Both were one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended!

Stopped in on NYE. Pretty busy for dinner but we were grabbing a few drinks. Great energy and vibes, solid tap list along with cocktails and wine, and friendly Vermonters. A great Waterbury pub.

One of best restaurants to go to in Waterbury center.... Extensive local drafts and great food menu. The wings, Pountine, mussels are all great appetizers. The smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, and other dinner options are all prepared well with great flavor.

Great pub food and atmosphere. Our server Dave was wonderful. Quick with suggestions and service. Had the land and sea selection with a melt in your mouth flat iron steak cooked to perfection with shrimp in a delicious Cajun cream sauce and mashed potatoes. Super yummy. Was trying to find the perfect restaurant for our anniversary. The other choices in town had gourmet food and prices. Glad we decided on something more down to earth but with great comfort food. A definite must if you're in Waterbury Vermont.

Wow this was definitely an awesome burger 🍔. Local farm raised beef. I had the bacon blue, with a healthy garden salad. Oh and I can't forgot they have fantastic beer as well. Will definitely visit again❤
