Absolutely unbeatable prices and the staff are invariably lovely. One of my favorite spots in VT!

This place is great! Retail therapy I can afford. Recently my favorite finds were a jewelry box and Christmas ornaments, as well as fine clothing and accessories.

Unfortunately their basement was flooded in July. I was so saddened by the loss, but they bounced back. I dropped in last Saturday and the basement was restored. Very bright and cheerful. The owner is a wonderful lady and I almost always find some kind of treasure each visit.

I've always heard amazing things about this store and they are all true. If you are looking for great finds whether it's clothing furniture or books or movies you're sure to find something here. Looking forward to going back again sometime soon.

Amazing prices and variety, and lovely staff. I walked out with three books, four vinyls, two mugs, two vintage cocktail glasses, two shot glasses, six teacups, and two paintbrushes for $7.50. Made my day!

I love this place. If you find them when they have tvs in they are in great condition and very reasonably priced. However, for me it's all about the books. They are a bit hidden but I could spend hours digging thru the piles. They also have a large DVD selection as well. All in great shape. The staff never minds me spending so much time in that little corner room and the prices are amazing for books and DVDs . Great place run by nice folks.

I was very surprised to see even a single low rating for this place. I love this little shop. We go up to a few times a week just to look around and always find new clothes and furniture. Kathy is a great lady and you can't beat the prices. 👍👍

I have purchased so many items during the last few years. I usually come in at least once a week (I live only 15 minutes away). Some of the bargains, you really have to dig deep for. Whether it is furniture, books, music (CDs and sometimes vinyl), or clothing (all items are $2 per item - at least most items are this price), there is much to be found. Sometimes things are a bit chaotic as Kathy (the owner) is always bringing in new items. I enjoy stopping in at the "Boutique", looking for bargains and chatting with Kathy. Her prices are very competitive.

Can't wait to go back again next week. We found 2 pairs of ice skates and a winter hat all for $4!! Can't beat that price. The whole store is packed full of awesome stuff.

Kathy the owner is a special lady ! She is very nice, her place has all kinds of stuff! love to look in the basement at her furniture, AND ,, now she has auctions ! AWESOME PLACE ! Prices are what a Thrift store should be! Way to go Kathy !

I live in Massachusetts and I just found this place on a recent trip to Vermont. What a great place to find used clothes, electronics, furniture, etc. The owner buys out houses and sells the contents here. She was fun to deal with. This funky place is packed with all kinds of goodies and I will return, for sure!

There is “Seriously” great thrifting to be had at the Bargain Boutique in Waterbury! Always Incredible finds and always incredible prices!! It’s like getting lost in your Grandmother’s attic while therapeutically searching for hidden treasures.

Kathy, the owner of the Bargain Boutique is a very nice lady with a ready smile and is always happy to help you find what you are looking for, even if it doesn't happen to be in her shop. The name of the shop really says it all. The first time I went there, I had just moved to Waterbury and needed more clothes as I was sadly lacking. I walked out with 2 pairs of very-well-known name brand shorts, 4 T-shirts that I doubt had ever been worn, and a pair of jeans that were also a name brand and were very close to new looking. All of these items cost me less than $6.00!! I also recently found a beautiful rain jacket known as a Duster (like the Western Cowboys used to wear that come down to your knees) for $2.00. I am constantly getting compliments on "new jacket!" LOL

take it from your local thrift-store-obsessed teenager, this place rocks and is indeed “groovier than goodwill”. i’ve been going there ever since i can remember and there’s always been something for me, it’s all cheap as heck, plus kathy the owner is very rad! 🐸
