I love this place so much!

When you walk in, you are greeted with an abundance of cheese. You can choose from any type you prefer. They even have flavors that you may not see when you live. For me, that was the Tuscan Herb flavor.

Then you move to the next section of the store which has more artisanal cheeses. They even had Jasper Hill Farm cheese which I have been searching for a long time. There was a guy making grilled cheeses samples with apple butter which was absolutely incredible. There were a great variety of crackers. They had free samples of cheeses, wine, and cheese and jam pairings. They had kitchen tools that you can buy for parties or just every day use.

One of the workers told me they designed this store to guide you through the steps of making a charcuterie board! Genius.

This place was incredible. I highly recommend this location if you are visiting Vermont.

Make sure to check the hours because they are not open on certain days.

Cheese heaven! All things cheese. This place was excellent. They had different types of cheeses they produce along with a variety of spreads and jams paired with the cheeses. They also had different types of wines as well. The store had several tasting locations which helped make up your mind what type of cheese you wanted to purchase. We really enjoyed it.

A pilgrimage worth making if you appreciate cheese and its derivatives. They also sell Vermont's maple syrup and artistic post cards. There is a photo kiosk for those who want to catch the moment. Friendly staff and attractively displayed merchandise. Parking is tight in the paved lot out front.

A great store, not only do they have a great selection of cheese but also everything from maple syrup, soap, and things that I've never even heard of before like maple syrup powder and maple syrup infused spices. Interior environment is very nice too. I did have to spend some time waiting in line, but perhaps it was just a busy time.

4.29.23 Cheese everywhere. What's best is that there are many samples to try and many are paired with toppings and knowledgeable staff to assist. There's much to see, try, and buy for yourself or ad gifts. They also sell wine and can pair it to the cheeses. A great stop for all.

Of course I went in with the intention of buying cheese, but the staff's knowledge of pairing cheeses with jams made me buy a whole lot of ham too.

Great free samples, a few cheese domes around the store. Some unique flavors and different spice levels. The horseradish cheese and hobanero were samples the day I was there. The prices are reasonable on their own Cabot products. There are many other small artsy items that are more expensive.

Update: visited last saturday: 11/5/22. There are now sampler provider which explains the cheese much better and we ended up buying unlike our first visit that we just tasted it and we didn’t knew the difference. Lesser people at time of visit which is around 3-4pm on a saturday

1st visit: Sept. 2021. Lots of cheese and wide space inside the store to roam and ample parking spot outside. You get a free cheese sample too!

I've been thoroughly enjoying Cabot products since 1989. Quality and flavors are extremely good. I have fond memories of raising my children in Vermont and visiting their wonderful Stowe Vermont location. Cabot will always be my go-to brand for cheese, snacks, butter, and pretty much anything, Cabot. Seriously 🧀 🍿 OMG yum

Its so much fun visiting! There's so many cheeses, jams, and condiments to try! Although there's less cheese available to try right now due to covid, still a good amount to get a taste for things.
A must visit for me whenever I pass through the area to go to Burlington.

This has always been a wonderful place to stop at, and I make sure to take all my friends and family who are visiting us in Vermont.
Last time we were there we got to do a cheese sampling, with cheddar aged from 1 year to 5 years, and pair them with jams. The folks working there are always super friendly, helpful, and willing to answer any questions you might have.
It's free to go in, and some of the stuff might be a bit pricey, but I'm always willing to pay extra for quality food, especially when it's local.
If you love cheese, you need to check this place out.
The plaza itself, also has a lot of great stores that work well with cheese!

Cabot cheese is a brand I grew up with as a kid and to now learn about the history was incredible! I greatly enjoyed learning about the different types of cheeses and how they pair with things. The cheese at the store is affordable and has a very wide selection. I do wish I could have better understood what the experience would include to be mentally prepared.

I really enjoyed visiting here. The selection of cheese is fantastic if you like Cabot, and they also have some high-end options from around the state. Staff were extremely friendly, and the prices were very reasonable and didn't seen to have been marked up, which was a nice surprise.

Wonderful selection of cheeses, Vermont-made crafts, maple syrup, and tasting counters for many items. They carry the 5- and 10-year Cabot Cheddar. Convenient location between downtown Waterbury and downtown Stowe, and located next to other desirable businesses like Smugglers Notch distillery store. There is a bathroom available in the next building that requires a code to access. You can ask a staff member for the code, and I believe it's printed on receipts.
