Village Market of Waterbury

Today is my birthday, and I ordered a bunch of sandwiches from the deli to have a lunch celebration with my kids. The sandwiches were delicious and yummy - my (annoying, I'm sure) specific order was filled to perfection. The woman who took my phone order could not have been more sweet. My daughter picked up the order on her way to my house, and I asked her to please tip her. Unfortunately, the store policy is "no tipping". I just want to say, in the days of every business expecting a tip for so much less effort, I would like them to revisit this policy. That said, THANK YOU, deli friend and master sandwich maker, for making my day. ❤

Super nice people. Nice sales. Nice bulk selection. I especially like the bulk Vermont Artisan Coffee. Their store brand is awesome. Recently used their online order and pickup service and it went without a hitch.

There were lots of organic options for fruits and vegetables. There are also lots of local brands like Cabot milk products, Klinger’s bread, etc. Their store brand products are also reasonably priced and you can pick up almost anything you would need for regular grocery shopping.

Their in-house smoked cheese was to die for. They have other prepared foods, and their smoked deli turkey was great, too.

Loved the store. Produce looked awesome. Layout of store was good. All foods looked great. No card needed for special rates. First time since we moved from out of state. Will go again.

This is where I do all of my grocery shopping! They always have a great selection, at fair prices, and the location is perfect. The staff are always friendly and helpful and if they don't have something you want, they will do their best to get it ordered for you. Love this store!

One of the best home town grocery stores in VT. With a mix of Organic spcialties and more affordable goods. Great Beer selection and an amazing staff in the produce and meat departments. They will special order you anything and all of their meat and fish is fresh and stored extremely well to ensure an enjoyable meal.

Village market is the best grocery store in the Waterbury area. The selection of local quality goods is quite amazing and the prices are reasonable. The beer selection has a nice local variety which is a big plus. The staff is very friendly and provides any help if you just ask. Every time I go there I find new products to try to cooks with which makes cooking an enjoyment again.

You would think, living in a small town and with the name VILLAGE (even smaller than a small town) MARKET, that there would be little more than what a convenience store might carry. But WOW! You would be so wrong! This Market has a wonderful selection... actually, it's got more than the bigger stores have! Really, I checked...lol, they really do. It is just one pleasant surprise after another in this store! Firstly, when you walk in, your breath is taken away because of how beautiful it looks. I know, that sounds odd for a grocery store but I challenge anyone to prove me wrong. The setup is amazing and though I could never describe why, it's just very... well, Vermont. It's very Vermont-like in both its presentation and the products. The produce selection is great. It is good -sized and full of just-off-the-farm fresh fruits and vegetables! And the selection of non-alcoholic drinks is incredible! I still haven't tried them all. But best of all? Best of all is that they support our beautiful state like almost no other. The number of Vermont made products that Village Market has is just awesome. You have to go to this store! Come by for lunch and try the salad bar. You will not regret it.

Nice grocery store, impressive selection. Had a free sample of cotton candy grapes which I'd never seen before. Sure enough, they tasted like cotton candy! Had to buy a bag, they were that good.

It’s a nice little grocery store very convenient located in Waterbury downtown. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The products are very high quality my favorite are the produce, meat and dairy section.

Prices are q little higher than a chain grocery store, but better quality products. I love their bulk section and little mini carts for my daughter to push all her goodies in.
