If you want a nice thick hamburger cooked just the way you like it this is the place.
Laid back, great service.
Excellent food every time.

First time ever at this place and it did not disappoint. Ordered $65 worth of food to go, ribs were FALLING off the bone, wings cooked to perfection, jalapeño poppers piping hot and stuffed, but the real star was the baked beans, I’d buy a 5 gallon bucket of those. Only took off 1 star for the potato salad cause that needed a little help

As you walk in there is a sea of flatscreens tuned to a variety of channels. My biggest tip of whether I would enjoy the ambiance is how you are greeted when you walk in — well within minutes—KIM — my waitress — was there to suggest one of her favorite dishes which was Graziano Pasta. The dish was amazing—the medley of sausage, cheese and flavored sauces did a samba of twirls lacing my palate with a magnificent taste of good old fashion from scratch comfort food. The environment was very welcoming for all ages — people seemed happy —the parking is great and the plethora of menu options are very reasonable. For a local business that has withstood COVID and other employment perils they must be doing something right — because — the customers seem to enjoy the food, and the atmosphere! This is a good place to turn up and support!!!

Our family went today, everyone's food was EXCELLENT! The only suggestion I have is for the Philly steak sandwich, there needs to be less onion, pepper, and mushroom and more meat. If they took half of the onions, peppers and mushrooms away and replaced it with meat. It would be perfect!

We stopped in on a very busy saturday night. We were actually seated pretty quickly. The service was absolutely amazing for as busy as she was. We unfortunately did not get to try the wings. But we all had sandwiches, French dips, clubs quesadillas. Appetizers, everything came out to our table hot. Everything came out fresh everything food wise and service wise was absolutely amazing. They needed to fill the table napkins and condiments a little more because we did run out. But other than that, everything was great. It was a great experience. It was a really great location we enjoyed it very much.

We stopped in for appetizers and a beer. Staff was friendly, service was quick and food was good. There is a good menu to choose from salads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta. Pleasant atmosphere.

They have fried gizzards that I haven't found anywhere else in the area. My Mom used to love and fry them (so it's a comfort food for me).

Always friendly service and great food. They always have a great variety of food and drinks that are fast and delicious!

Had lunch here on a weekday. The seat yourself policy was nice, and we had quick service. Not too busy and the casual atmosphere was perfect for a meal with new coworkers. I'm a vegetarian and ordered the kid's grilled cheese. It was surprisingly tasty, and if a kid ate the sandwich and all of the fries, I would be stunned. Altogether, I would recommend for a satisfying, quick lunch

We're in there 2:30pm in the afternoon. The bartender she was amazing, an amazing person with a great personality. And the best place to ever eat with an atmosphere that is also amazing. Every time we've been in there, this place has never disappointed us, ever. If we could give more stars we would give them twenty stars not five. If you're looking for an amazing place to eat and awesome people to wait on you, this is the place to go. Thank you chicken coop we will be back again.

Food was delish and came out quickly..our server was wonderful too!

The Buffalo Chips are excellent and I always get their bone in wings half sweet dry rub/half spicy dry rub. The wings with Bourbon sauce are pretty good too. They also have ice cold $3 tall boys as well.

Great place for a quick reasonably priced dinner. The kitchen is open late so we like to come here after a Friday night football game with the kids. The Chicken Coup is also a good choice to come to in order to catch a game on one of their many tvs. Great selection on the menu. Food is always delicious and served hot and fast! You can also call ahead and order food to go so if you want to stop by on the way home and grab some wings or nachos you can! Since moving out to the western edge of urbandale and finding this place we have become regulars. 10/10 recommend!

We've always had good luck here with the food and service. We were there this past weekend with our 22 month old daughter and our waitress was fantastic with her! (I believe her name was Kim- she was amazing!) She brought her extra pickles- her favorite- and colors/coloring book to keep her busy while we waited for our food. Buffalo chips are always a hit- a MUST appetizer! Wings- always good, fish sandwich- also good. We love it all!

Love the staff and the food! The cookie special helps make it an affordable date night!!

We're here every Sunday. Amazing wings. Get boneless in whatever flavor. If you get traditional make sure you order them extra crispy. Staff are SO kind.

This place was absolutely dead when we stopped in for lunch, and we still had to wait to order our drinks and our food. I ended up ordering my food to go and overall not impressed. I would just choose a different option over going here again.

One of our favorite restaurants. The service is wonderful - we enjoy stopping in and seeing Della and Kim.

Great place to meet up with friends and family. Tons of menu items, including wings, along with friendly service.

Loved the welcoming atmosphere and our bartender Bibi took great care of us. We will be making this our new stop when we come through Iowa.
