Ryan and his whole crew are absolutely awesome! They fixed our car after an accident in a timely manner, with much attention to detail and after care instructions. Highly recommend this company!!

I used Urbandale Auto Body to repair my car after I was rear ended. Ryan was incredibly helpful in explaining the process and had an empathetic and educated perspective of the chaotic world of insurance. Before I was able to schedule a time to get everything replaced, they smashed the truck and bumper back into place for me so it didn’t look as damaged. I was really appreciative of that because it took about 3 weeks longer than expected for the insurance company to respond to my claim. When I was finally able to set up a rental car, they had my car fixed and ready to be picked up about a week earlier than I expected! I never want to have to go back to a collision repair center but I would definitely use Urbandale Auto Body again if I had to.

Very friendly and did a great job fixing my car in a timely fashion. Also they have adorable dogs and free candy in the lobby which I am a big fan of.

I am so glad the reviews led me to bring my car here, now it’s my turn to brag! After being involved in a fender bender, my car needed some TLC. The process of getting an estimate and working with my insurance company went without a hiccup thanks to Ryan and his team. They had my car turned around in two weeks, looking better than I brought it in, both INSIDE and out! Not only did they work on the body of the car, they made the inside of my car shine! (I think we all know how bad the mats in our car look after surviving Iowa winters. Not to mention kids and dogs on top of it!) I can’t reccomend Urbandale Auto Body Service enough! Thank you Ryan and team!

Just want to give a shout out to this shop, after hitting a deer head on going 70 mph our insurance company towed it here. We immediately pulled up their website to see if it was a reputable place. We were immediately put at ease to see every single review was impeccable regarding their work and ethics. Unfortunately our vehicle was deemed totaled in the end… but we feel we couldn’t have been in better hands should we have had to have repairs! We highly recommend this establishment!

My car got hit and I had to deal with State Farm insurance and they tried screwing me over. Ryan, the owner of Urbandale Auto Body had helped me out by getting State Farm to give me a fair quote. Even though Ryan knew I was not intending on getting my car fixed and was going to just take the check, he still helped me tear my car apart and write a true accurate estimate to submit to insurance. He also found prior damage (as it was a salvage) and told me he the car was unsafe, instead of just recommending me to use him to fix it and get paid. Ryan shows integrity and did the right thing regardless of making money. Mechanics and body shops have a reputation for not always being 100% honest, but I can say that this family owned business is legit.

Great experience here!! Excellent quality of work. Had front end damage to my Honda CRV and body work was flawless. Needed to have a little more work done them initially expected and they were sure it all was done right and to my satisfaction. Great in working with the insurance company and being my advocate. Ryan has a great team and awesome customer service. I will use exclusively for my auto body work in the future.

I took my 2018 Toyota in after a rear end accident and they were so professional and quick! I was able to bring my car in the same day I called and they had it fixed, painted, and glass reinstalled in 3 days.
A few weeks later, my husband’s windshield got a decent crack in it. They replaced his windshield in a matter of hours.

My dad worked here for over 20 years and I wouldn't trust anyone else to repair my vehicles. I brought in my 2016 Chevy Spark that needed some repairs after another car backed into it. Ryan and the guys had my car done in half the time they said it would take, the paint matches perfectly, and you can't tell it was ever damaged. Took them two weeks to do the rocker panels on my Silverado and they look flawless can't even tell they cut the old ones off and weld a new ones on Great job guys

Ryan helped us with our truck that had been in a wreck and repaired it to look as good as new. Their team did a great job and were done a day early.
This is the second vehicle they have repaired for us in the last few years and have always exceeded our expectations!

The level of service is off the charts. I had nothing but trouble from my insurance company, but Urbabdale Autobody really went above and beyond, going to bat for me with he insurance company and making sure everything was fixed right. They not only fixed every dent so flawlessly that you couldn't even tell were they had been, but the repairs were completed ahead of schedule.

I had a hood that would not properly close because of trying to close it when something was in the way. The issue was diagnosed as a bent hinge with no apparent damage to the hood. The hinge was replaced and the hood was adjusted to close properly. They even did some minor touch up on the hood where paint had chipped off because of the bad closing. This was all done extremely quickly and was handled in a professional manner. Excellent work from a great group of people!

I had almost an identical experience as another reviewer. I had a minor problem with my bumper cover. I had caught it on a curb reversing. Dealership wanted to charge me for a new bumper. I stopped by Urbandale Auto Body on a whim at 8:30am as a walk in client. Was out the door with the bumper fixed 20 minutes later for no cost. The owner said he would appreciate an honest review and that is honestly what happened. Thanks again guys!

I had a custom 2002 Jeep Wrangler frame (complete frame swap) installed with these guys a few weeks ago. Not only does my Jeep drive/run the best it has in years; they went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right, walked me through the entire process, followed up on how the project was coming along, and now continually check up to make sure it is driving well.
