Elmer's Bar & Grill

Low-key one of the most lit bars for the middle age crowd in Burien. We were definitely the youngest ones there and we’re in our 30s but the energy was good so Who cares? We came super early and there wasn’t a ton of people there, but there is stuff to do like pool and pull tabs. There are lots of places to sit and it’s a pretty large bar. We noticed that the very large stage was being set up for a band so we came back late night and the place was hopping. Definitely couples dancing, great music and a really lovely crowd of people. There was one creeper there getting in our faces, but the bar folks had our back and said he was just the typical ridiculous regular. We noticed that they serve food too, but we didn’t eat there so can’t vouch for that. The servers were maybe a little cold to begin with but warmed up when they noticed, we weren’t a bunch of hipsters trying to move in on their space just some curious Burienites, wondering what was going on behind the doors of Elmer’s.

I was there last Saturday evening . I stopped in for my first time for a burger fries and a beer. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious and plentiful. I hadn't ate since breakfast and was hungry, but I could not eat all of my plate. Great home style bar. I could tell a lot of regulars come to this laid back friendly bar. I would have stayed later for the live music except my hotel room was calling me for sleep and I had to be up early on Sunday. I' m the old guy that did the magic tricks. Next time I'm working in the Seattle area I will pop in for a visit. Thanks for the memory.

Only came here for drinks. They pour em strong! I may have had too many... Great band on at the time. Would like to come back to try the food. Top notch dive bar 👌

I had walked by this local Bar and Grill, many times, but never was brave enough to venture in. Perhaps always a little intimated to trying a new place, especially bars. I just like setting and chilling out perhaps having a nice beer on tap, and some good food. Well I found Elmer's Bar & Grill a nice place to do just that. Went in between 12-3pm on a Thur afternoon. Discovered they were serving tacos 🌮 for only a $1.00 a taco. They were beef tacos in the hard shell. I ordered 2, and small basket of fries. (All of it was great!) The tacos really hit the spot. Since I was considering going to the Taco Time just two more blocks down the street. The Tacos 🌮 at Elmer's far outweighed any thing I would have received at Taco Time. And far far better price on top 💵 of that.
Did not order beer, just a soda.
But found the atmosphere or decor, to be like "back home Iowa or Midwest vibe" with locals "shooting the breeze" (talking or conversation). It was relaxing and good food to top it off, on this visit. Also liked the way they had it decorated for Halloween.

Who doesn't love Elmer's! A long time staple in the community. Only place locally to see live bands. The new owner has made much needed improvements & it looks awesome! I sure miss Joe's handsome face tho!

A pool table dive bar with EXCELLENT food , brunch ‘All dayBreakfast ’ and Katie at the bar in the daytime is a pure Joy to watch multi- tasking - such an experienced gal . And always fast & super friendly 👍!! Finally I found a place for ALL DAY breakfast . I’ll be back .

Stumbled across this place, we have just moved and looking for a place that was not foo foo. Needless to say we found it!! The eggs cooked perfectly, classic greasy spoon.Natalie was our hostess with the most est!! Thank you to all involved in our experience will definitely be back!!

We went to the Tuesday night blues concert and jam night. If you haven’t been to one of these, your missing out!

Great hole in the wall dive bar with decent live music. Had a great time!

The food was solid. Exactly what you want from a bar/pool hall. The bartending was super cool, and polite. Drinks Are reasonable and good. And they have a lot of pool tables.

This place is like a small town bar but it's pretty big! Nice food menu. Pool room downstairs! Close to the airport.

The Kennydales had a great time as did the audience. Great staff and sound man. Food is always good as is the clientele.

Had breakfast 😋 it was very good and far price. Service was poor but they were short handed.

Fun place, good staff and live music on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The grilled ham & cheese, along with clay chowder was amazing. Service was perfect.

Fun place. We went to see a friends band. It's a very relaxed environment. People were nice and introducing themselves. I didn't feel like I had to have a date with me. The drinks were reasonably priced. Next time we'll have to try the food.

On Tuesday great band . Was my birthday today and rock blue was great even Led zeppelin songs were good . I'm Randy Hansen's friend and liked the band . They did great. JW.
