This is the BEST authentic Chinese food around!! They are so kind and the food is really good every time! Now we order weekly!!

We LOVE this place! It’s great to have authentic Chinese food in the area. The beef and broccoli PERFECT and soooo good. Ditto on the chicken with vegetables and great flavor. . Crab rangoon crispy light and delicious little “stars”. We love Mu Shu- they don’t always have it, but the pork Mu Shu was very good. OH! Almost forgot the hot sour soup!!! Always order extra because it’s fabulous (PERFECT FLAVORING AND SMOOTH) and good to have as “leftovers” the next day also!! All very fresh veggies, tender meat, good cuts of meat, We have eaten at many Chinese places- this place is small but just wonderful! And NOT greasy like so many restaurants.

I love their food! And you get so much! They used to be dine-in but for covid went carry-out only and have never looked back. Sometimes they close early because they run out of food!

Best chinese in brighton and Livingston county. Inexpensive and always only 15 minute wait time for fresh made delicious food!!!! Hidden GEM!!!!!

Our Honto experience has always been great over the last 5 years. Again tonight, (Friday), as usual I called in our order and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. It was handed to me as walked in and paid. I got back to the house (within 10 minutes) and our Chicken and Chinese vegetables were excellent - and piping hot - as usual. The meats and vegetables are always fresh, and I have to say that their bean sprouts are the best! Never tasted better. Keep up the good work Honto.

The best Chinese food in town! Been going here for 5 years now and love it. My order is always correct, the food is always hot, and is ready quickly. Not to mention the food is absolutely delicious! Have not had one thing from their menu we didn't love.

Our family absolutely LOVES Honto! Their food is delicious and comes out quick! I am that person that always has a special order, and it always comes to me correctly!

Their wonton soup had 0 wontons, no vegetables JUST BROTH

I have been going here for years. Awesome food! Always fresh. Made fresh daily and they do not serve leftovers. Call ahead to confirm it's open as hours may vary. Indoor dining can be slow, but worth the wait. You won't be disappointed.

I rarely ever leave reviews, but this place has earned one. I have been going here as long as I can remember, so 20ish years. It has changed names and owners over the years. The customer service here is incredible!! I have never once had an issue with an order! Every single owner has done a wonderful job, and has kept the food as amazing as I remember it being as a child. The gravy for their almond chicken is un matched in my mind. I live in Ann Arbor now, but make the drive for this!!

No dine in is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars all the way around. Staff is always nice, polite, and thorough with me and my order. We are repeat customers and will continue to be

I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants serving American Chinese foods, and I am 99% certain that Honto makes the best General Tso's Chicken. Their other dishes are also great, e.g. Mongolian Beef, Garlic Sauce Chicken, Egg Foo Young, Pepper Steak, etc.) The chef is Cantonese which I think is why these dishes are done differently and better compared to those at the other places I've been to. 10/10 recommend.

We have had consistently good quality over the years. Reasonable prices, fast carryout service and good food. Always friendly. We have never had a bad experience or a bad meal, and there is plenty left over for the next day, sometimes two!

This guy makes some amazing, quality food! They are very friendly and have the best Chinese around easily. Try the Curry Hot Pot or Hunan Beef with an egg roll. The Orange Chicken is quite amazing too, lightly breaded, all white meat tenders. Not the slop you get at other places.

The food is always great, and they are very reasonably priced. We order often from this restaurant, but only carryout. Their hours are irregular and sometimes when we really want to order, they are randomly closed. If the phone rings for 3 minutes, they are closed. I cannot fault them too much for this though, as it appears to be a family run resturaunt, and things happen

We have ordered from Honto’s 3 times and believe Honto’s is the best Chinese food in the Brighton Howell area. The Chicken with vegetables is outstanding. They are becoming are go to place

This is the only Chinese in the Howell/ Brighton area I can say I actually enjoy and is really good. It’s currently takeout only due to covid. Sometimes there is a line for pick up. However it’s well worth it! Seriously I tried several on this area and it took me a year of bad attempts before I found this place.

This wonderful family owned Chinese restaurant is amazing. The staff is fast and friendly. The food is so delicious with so much flavor and the prices are great!

I love this place! I used to work nearby and would have lunch here. They were always so nice and timely! There food is better than any Chinese place nearby! There prices are so affordable! You have to try the egg foo young!
