We were in town for my son's birthday and he chose Tartufo for dinner. He had not been there and wanted to try it. Well, we were very pleasantly surprised. Everything was on point, from the food to the drinks to the service. All first class.

Great place to have friends or family gathering, great cocktails and amazing food.
I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are local or visiting an area.
Seafood pasta and Veal chop was perfect as well as delicious desserts.

Wow the are no words that effectively describe how fantastic the food and service are here. The atmosphere was welcoming and very homey. Each dish was better than the previous which is pretty hard when you start at excellent. We started with appetizers eggplant rollantini and grilled calamari with arugula salad. The eggplant, thinly sliced stuffed with ricotta and spinach was top shelf. The grilled calamari was like no calamari we have ever eaten. Grilled, it melted in your mouth not chewy like fried calamari and the arugula added that balance. Our entrees were shrimp and scallop risotto, lemon chicken with artichoke and red pepper, homemade ravioli with meat ball and fennel sausage and scallops papardelle. The scallops were buttery, tender and all you did was squeeze it between your tongue and roof of your mouth and it just melted away. Everything was way beyond expectations for a local eatery in Newton. A very nice lady stopped by our table to see if everything was ok and we stuck up a conversation. Turns out she was the owner Anna. We now have a new favorite go to Italian restaurant in the Boston area. Also don't forget to try the lemonciello. Top shelf. It just goes to show you that you don't have to go to the North end to get good Italian food.

Had a wonderful home delivery dinner from Tartufo. We sampled four different pasta dishes and all were expertly prepared, delicious, and arrived in excellent condition (the rolls were still warm). The desserts (Cannolis) were delicious too. Highly recommend.

Family style restaurant, food is great I’ve been there few times years ago and the quality is always there. Food is tasty everything is fresh and service is nice they care about their customers and this is why we come back. Try the cannelloni for dessert amazing before a glace of limoncello

Good ambiance the food has good taste the servers always are polite, good option for events, meetings and parties.

We have been here about 5 times for celebration. Our waiter awesome all the staff. My hat off to chef food amazing.
Meat balls 😋 , bolognese. Lobster w pasta. The lamb yummy bread.

We had a great night at Tartufo! We are local and always very curios to taste their food. It was my birthday and we went with my family there. We did not have a reservation but they accommodate us and gave us a great treat! The food was great. It was like a nice family restaurant in Italy. Pasta was great, even for a my wife that is Italian! Thank you Tartufo for a wonderful night, and for the cake and candle you send to the table without even asking!

The food was delicious. Everyone at the party was happy with their meals, portion size, and speed of service. Having the full 2nd-floor room to ourselves allowed us to fully enjoy our time together. A great dining option for a private company dinner...especially since it was found using GOOGLE and no one had been to Tartufo before! We will be back.

First off, the owner is an absolutely wonderful human! I reached out to book a luncheon after my mother's funeral last week. She was beyond kind, leaving me with no stress. Which during this time, I was so grateful for. They were so welcoming and kind when we arrived at the restaurant. The service and food were all top notch! I look forward to going back to visit under different circumstances. I was very impressed and full when I left. We'll definitely be back!! Thank you again!

Delicious food, always a good time. My husband and I have been coming here for date nights for years. It's great to bring family since the menu has so many options. Our 14 month old loves the meatballs!

We held my daughter's birthday at the restaurant. Everyone had a great night. Our service, specifically our server Achilles, was attentive and accommodated effectively. Pricing was not cheap, and neither was the food quality; the cuisine is well worth the cost, which hovers around the average cost for gourmet meals in Newton Center. There was only one real children's item but staff would accommodate portion size for kid's meals.
All in all, a very positive experience, and a strong recommendation for intimate dates, as well as groups of any size. Honestly, it's great for anyone you'd like to impress.
