Comella's Restaurants Melrose

A nice neighborhood pizza place that offers more than just pizza. Nothing fancy, just good at a reasonable price. It's under new management who seem committed to giving Melrose a high quality experience.
Limited seating for about 12 people, mostly a take out business. The guy that runs the front counter is fantastic at customer service/ customer relations. Prices are equal to the area. The food is quite good. We ordered Chicken Parm sandwich, spaghetti and meatballs and butternut squash ravioli. All were delicious!

They reopened yesterday and were giving free cookies! Food was great and staff was really friendly. I'll definitely be coming back!

Had their pizza (melrose branch) for the 1st time tonight. I ordered the one with pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and sausage. Much to my surprise the pizza was not at all greasy. You'd think that with all the loaded meats topped on it would be drenched in oil. The pepperoni was perfectly cooked, with a nice crunch on the edges. The flavor was not too salty. Great pizza. I would highly recommend. Looking forward to trying the other items!

Great subs and very good service. I walked in and was out pretty quickly, however, I only had a small order. The meatball sub was delicious, I asked for light sauce and extra cheese, and got exactly what I wanted. I 100% recommend this place. If you want a larger order, I suggest you call ahead.

Although relatively new in this location, Camella's has a reputation for creativity and excellence in Italian cuisine. This is primarily a take-out business, however there are small dining tables in a very casual atmosphere for those who would rather dine in. Only drawback is that they do not deliver, however, the food is well worth picking up on the way home from work. Each dish is custom-made to order and there is an extensive menu of suggested specialty combinations of pasta, meats, veggies and sauces. The possibilities are infinite and the staff is always flexible and enthusiastic about giving you what you want. Every time I indulge, I get two orders & freeze one for a wonderful meal on another evening. You can't go wrong here.

Great food!! Ordered the calamari spinach and penne dinner- husband ordered the eggplant parm in a braided roll- brusheta was also great- loved every bite of it!

Service in Melrose is always smiling and friendly and quick. We always get a cheese pizza. It comes to the table piping hot, fresh and gooey from the oven. They bring plates & silverware. They also sell San Pellegrino sodas which are not as sweet as American ones but quite flavorful. We highly recommend this as one of the best thing-crust pizzas in Melrose!

They have the best Cobb salad.
It's a good amount and good price.

I love the food! Also when picking up an online order, they have the food ready exactly at the promised time. Not before and not after, which means that it's always as fresh as it could be.

This place can't be beat. They have awesome subs, and with a cheese pizza that is around 5$ you really get your money's worth going here.

if i could rate it 6 i would i love comellas the sauces and prices are just right and staff is always accommodating to your every need the only downside is veggie pizza cost more and its my favorite but others don't like vegetables in general so please lower the price it always is plenty and more to feed my family at comellas rather than the other expensive companies at comellas you can get 4 large ceese pizza for only $20 its good and worth it
