What a wonderful new restaurant! I just went here for breakfast after reading some reviews and seeing some yummy breakfast pic reviews. I wanted to add on to those and say how pleased I was with this location. To start with the inside looks like fun and I like the fact it used to be an old small train station spot. We sat outside at one of their picnic benches with umbrellas because it was so nice out that morning. The street is fairly quietly and it’s a pretty spot. I ordered OJ, challah French toast with berries and one scrambled egg. My sister got a mimosa and eggs Benedict. The staff was really friendly and quick to get our order. Then our food came out fairly quickly. The presentation was beautiful and the food was delicious! The French toast wasn’t too heavy either and I almost finished all the slices which I normally don’t. They also have organic maple syrup that was delicious, too. Overall, I had a lovely time there and hopefully will be back sooner rather than later and become a regular! 👏🏼

Lunch perfection!
Impromptu stop in Newton, stepped into this sweet place after not visiting in over 4 years, I had the burger, my friend loved his Rueben, absolutely delicious & friendly welcoming service, love this place, wish I lived closer! There are not enough of these places around, friendly approachable staff and solid food. I loved it and I'll go again!

Hubby and I came tonight to eat our favorite sandwich (Reuben) but we didn't know they weren't on the dinner menu. As we were getting ready to leave, the staff spoke to the chef who offered to make them for us. We were so thrilled at their kindness we stayed and ate the yummy Reubens with the delicious fries! Now that was outstanding service!! Thank you ever so much!!!

Went on a busy Saturday morning. It was my 3rd time at The Station Diner. We sat at the bar instead of waiting for a table. Server was nice and efficient and we got our drinks very quickly. Our food also arrived quickly. For the 3rd time I got French toast. My brother got a large plate with home fries, eggs, French toast, bacon, and toast. My brother loved everything on the plate and his only complaint is that the home fries are not seasoned enough. If you like bacon you cannot go without ordering it. It is the thickest bacon I've ever seen and really very good. I really like this place and go out of my way to go there whenever I am near it.

It's just and incredible place! I grew up in Newton in the 60's and 70's and never knew the train station was there. The food is great, our waiter was excellent and the frappes are delicious. If you get a chance, the history of the station is summed up beautifully at the bottom of one of the menu pages. It is well worth many trips.

This morning I ordered blueberry pancakes and a side order of hash. They were both delicious. The pancakes were very filling and I was glad I ordered only 2. I upgraded to the organic syrup (extra $1.25), and did not regret it. The homemade hash had real shredded meat and small potato chunks (no onions which is the way I like it), and it was really good. Also, the waitress was very nice and readily available.

First time here, heard about it from many friends and family. I was not disappointed. Service was so wonderful, right from the time I gave my name, to being seated and waited on. Food was very good, pancakes, omelets, home fries all nice portions and cooked to perfection. Atmosphere was family friendly decor was wicked cool.

We came for breakfast/lunch around noon on a Saturday. We were greeted with Friendly service from our server and the food was tasty. One of us ordered breakfast and the other lunch. Nicely sized menu with lots of options.

Went to brunch with the boyfriend and sat at the bar. Our bartendress/waitress was awesome, wish I had caught her name. The fried chicken Benedict and chicken & waffles were both so good! Awesome mimosa list that I will dive into next time.

Had a lovely avocado toast with a Sunnyside up egg, tomato and arugula. Cappuccino to top it off. A friend had eggs benedict Florentine that was delish. Still like the steam punk atmosphere left over from previous owner.

I have been coming here for years. I believe it is under different management but the food has been consistently amazing. Never had a horrendous wait and the staff is always friendly even when very busy. The food is off the hook and fairly priced. Never have a bad time finding parking too. Love this place enjoy!

I was not expecting the rad steampunk décor when I walked in for a late lunch, but it was so cool. Also, my server Alex was super friendly, super helpful, and very quick. And the most important part of any restaurant review, the food was delicious. I recommend the BLT when you want some good-old comfort food. I will definitely be returning and bringing my roommates because we've been looking for a nice place with low prices to get great food.

Their 12-day aged steak is absolutely amazing. This is our family's favorite diner option. Only odd thing is that you cannot get non-breakfast options until after 4:00 pm. Still, all of their breakfast options are incredible and available all day long. This place is fantastic.

I stopped in while waiting for a friend and fell in love with this place, so much that I skipped going to the gym to hang out a little longer here.

Really cool feel to the interior; it used to be an old train station. Has a sort of steampunk decorative sense. The eggs benedicts are really good, not particularly cheap, but good. Will be returning at some point in the future.

**As a response back to the business, you should definitely let your customers know that wonderful information you just wrote, because it is important to many of your customers. Maybe not in so many words, but we love knowing how your delicious offerings are sourced and what is being used😉 thank you, and again, highly recommended!

For my best friend and I this is our go to stop for great food! I can bring my 2 kids (4 and under) they love the funky train station atmosphere and the food. The menu is so extensive there is always something to hit the spot be it breakfast or a turkey dinner. We literally can spend hours there talking and munching. Also I can have a cocktail or wine! A Diner with booze?!? Yes please!

Great place for breakfast and brunch. (I bet their other meals are fine, I just haven't had them yet.) Awesome gluten-free pancakes! Fun steampunk decor!
