Recently, I had the pleasure of hosting a book club meeting at their cafe, a delightful surprise as I was previously unaware of their culinary offerings. The menu they offer for brunch is truly outstanding, featuring a delectable selection of dishes that cater to diverse tastes. Among the highlights were the scrumptious Four Cheese Quiche and the mouthwatering Harvest Quiche, which I had the pleasure of savoring. The Grilled Vegetable Flatbread and Risotto were equally impressive, showcasing their commitment to fresh and flavorful ingredients.

To top off the culinary journey, their seasonal plated dessert, featuring a delightful of sorbet and cheesecake, was a heavenly finale. It's a place where you can savor both the beauty of nature and the pleasures of gastronomy. This place is my favorite!

A Proper Garden has a gorgeous and very large selection of plants! I love the way the flowering perennials are displayed by color group and the wide walkways between/around the displays. They carry huge planters and I spied pavers and landscape materials off to one side of the store area so I can only imagine what high end clients they must serve. The gift shop is pretty much mind blowing with its array of unique and classy home goods.
If you go be sure to bring your (very full) wallet ; )

My daughter & I just left this wonderful place & couldn’t stop talking about it! A Proper Garden is a wonderful feast for the eyes, stomach & soul. We’re in love. Our chef, Jeff made us feel so special as he explained, cooked & served up some awesome homemade deliciousness. We had a delicious grilled cheese, breakfast sandwich, salad, soup & refreshing steeped & iced mango peach tea! While he cooked our meal we wandered around the store discovering many unique decorative items. Then we walked into the atrium & saw many beautiful plants & succulents. A lot of them, we’ve never seen before & they looked so healthy. After thanking the friendly staff we left with some fresh pastries and a new tradition.

Beautiful store!! One focus is MacKenzie-Childs products which is a favorite! The greenhouse plants are always beautiful and healthy

A beautiful store! I recommend checking it out, especially for inspiration. Expect to pay high end prices, this is not the place for a bargain .

I adore this place. We stop in every time we are in the area. A beautiful selection of flowers, garden accessories and home decor.

We had lunch here for Mother’s Day and it was amazing. The quiche was terrific and the dessert was out of this world. The chef makes you feel like you’ve been friends with him for years. Do yourself a favor and stop for brunch or lunch. Very fairly priced for the food and experience. You won’t regret it!

My first time visit to this enchanted treasure destination! Each one of your senses will be pleasured. Owner Bob Van Cura has created the ultimate luxury exhibition! Inspirational floral designs, stunning Mackenzie-Childs creations, elegant outdoor furnishings, exotic flourishing plant life surrounded by fountains for every decor. Last but not least visit the old style European Bistro to reserve your table for a intimate luncheon. A must experience!

Just stop here and eat. Do yourself a favor and check the place out. The quiche was fantastic. Chef makes you feel right at home like you have been long time friends. What a fantastic atmosphere and great vibe inside. The service was top notch

We stopped here on our way home from the zoo. I had never really noticed it so I’m glad that we needed some plants when we were in the area. It is so cute inside. The shop looked beautiful with all of the Christmas decorations on display. We bought some plants for a vivarium that we are building. Brandon got called up to answer our questions about the air plants that we purchased and was able to give us some tips on our bioactive enclosure. Excellent service.

This is my 2nd year using this nursery for my porch. I can't say enough about the quality of their plants and flowers. It costs more than your usual place, but is well worth the price!! Atmosphere is amazing and always friendly service!

We found A Proper Garden by accident and absolutely loved it! We found the exact plants we were looking for with the expertise and help of their staff and had the most delicious Quiche breakfast and special herb and honey iced coffee prepared by their chef. This place exudes total pride of what they represent and the little shopping area is really unique.

Very nice, good selection of flowers, homey stuff inside their store (plates, cups, pillows, wall decorations, etc), and a nice cute cafe to grab a bite at.

Not only a great place to get beautiful plants, but their store inside has fantastic decor to create gorgeous spaces in your home. A must see place if you're a garden center fan!

Stopped in to pick up an early mother's day gift and didn't want to leave. There are so many beautiful gift options as well as beautiful floral options.

What a delightful place this is! A wonderful selection of flowers with a knowledgeable staff to guide you. Surprisingly, lots of other tasteful items for home decorating too. I love it!

The little French cafe is a treat! Very cozy spot for a cup of tea, a sweet and some light shopping. Lovely household items and beautiful garden supply.

Awesome place!the butternut squash soup was delish and the bread fabulous. Jeff the chef most cordial and definitely will be back.
