Los Guachos

when you pull into Los Guachos, you'll be greeted by signs telling you they have some of the best tacos al pastor in columbus. while waiting in line, you'll see news stories and magazine clippings about their success. and after you've eaten here, you'll understand all of it.

there is no way to go wrong with the menu. everything is delicious, from the burritos to their famous tacos. i'm particular to the quesadillas myself -- the Quesadilla Grande is more than enough food and it's PACKED with flavor. it's hard to find good lengua in the city, and they do it better than anyone.

if you want good authentic Mexican food in the 614, look no further. Los Guachos is IT. stop in and see for yourself why it has all of this hype.

I fairly think this is the best on the go taco spot in Ohio. $2.50 for in house pit al pastor tacos?? Juanas are pretty good as well.

I don't like to call things the best, but los gauchos al pastor gringa is the best. It's the best al pastor gringa style taco and has a serious argument for best taco I've ever had. I would also drink the green salsa out of a mug. Wash it down with a Mexican coke or horchata and just go to sleep because your day won't get any better.

I ate here a couple of years ago. I went with a friend who told me it's the best Mexican food in Columbus, and she had tried many places. I thought it was great. Basically exactly like the Mexican street food I used to get when I lived in Cozumel. On par with the Mexican food you get in Chicago. No complaints.

Was visiting Columbus and read on-line that these were fantastic al pastor tacos, so we had to give them a try. They absolutely lived up to expectations and were delicious. The meat was flavorful and had crispy edges, and the pineapple was great too. Very reasonable pricing - would highly recommend.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place yet, been going for years.
It's received many accolades and worth going. Most authentic street tacos and gringas you'll find in the state. Their prices are good and they usually have daily specials.
The best thing about this place is their consistency-they have a formula that works and they stick to it. Service, food, staff, atmosphere; it's all great, every single time.

The tacos here were really good. The meat especially was very tasty. I thought the person who took my order was very kind and polite. When I tried to practice my Spanish by speaking to him, he was very understanding and helpful.
The buy 1 get 1 offer made it very economical to have dinner here.

Columbus boasts a lot of taco places, but Los Guachos is the best in my opinion. Their chorizo is particularly mouthwatering and so is the pastor. They’re very affordable, they have great weekly specials, and now they even serve margaritas. I haven’t branched out beyond the taco menu yet simply because they’re so tasty.

If you have nothing nice to say… don’t say nothin’ at all. I only leave five star reviews. If I could, I would rate this place much higher.

Atmosphere is casual but super cool. I Love what appears to be handcrafted furniture. Very clean!

The food is beyond ample, delicious, authentic, with a fantastic selection. Pictured is a selection of Tortas, al pastor and brisket. Huge! No need for dinner

Everything was reasonably priced. I left feeling I got more than what I spent.

Oh… and get the churros, you’ll thank me!

Traditional tacos. Got the pastor tacos which are shaved off the spit roasted pork (Mexican style based on Greek immigrant gyro meat). Very good and reasonable at 2.50 each. Fresh pineapple slice, onion, and cilantro on corn tortillas. Looks spicy because of the marinade but they are mild. Better than the chicken. They have quesadillas which is open faced on 6" or 12" corn tortilla. Steak was better than the chicken.

Delicious Mexican food with impactful ingredients. Their verde(green) salsa was my favorite. Their pork tacos were flavorful and their tacquitos crunched just right. Prompt no contactless delivery. Friendly online ordering.

Best tacos al pastor. Great authentic Mexican food. Not enough seating so take out a good option. Update...they bought the place next door so now plenty of seating, but the lines are still out the door .(with good reason) totally worth the wait

Don't get the tacos, get the Que mi ves and make yourself a whole boatload of the most delicious tacos around. Make sure you get some of the onion and habanero mix to put on top. Their el pastor is to die for! Ignore all the self-important one ratings by people who don't understand that people who work in Mexican restaurants don't always speak English very well. Who cares? The food is fabulous!

Very good! My boyfriend truly enjoyed the Gringas tacos. We're from out of state but his cousin lives here and comes to get the Gingas tacos all the time. Very decent meal. Would recommend.

Why is no one talking about their sopes?! It holds so much food - if you were going to get 4 tacos, maybe get one less if you’re going for the sopes. Any meat with them is great but the top for me are suadero and lengua. I left stuffed and with enough for another meal the next day!

Everything you could want from a taco joint. I don't live near by but I go here every chance I get. Haven't had one bad experience!

This is by far the best Mexican in town. Although I'm not the biggest fan of tacos, this place blew my high expectations away. Highly recommended. Even though the steak was not of the highest quality and the fish tacos were less than to be desired, it's certainly still worthy of 5 stars because of their signature tacos, gringas. Do yourselves a favor and go get some.

I forgot to take photos of this place and my food but it was the best Mexican I e had in Columbus.

I got the tacos which were on special and the Taquitos were great as was the chips and salsa.

I’ll be back again to try more but a good first visit!

Pretty great little place for an informal lunch! The food was solid. The water was good. The seating is pretty unique and charming. Everything was nice and clean. Service was reasonably quick for a place that's not fast food. And, their hot sauce is actually pretty hot LOL 😎👍 parking was kind of annoying but doable! There's just a lot of business in a small strip.
