Encore Apartments

I've lived at Encore for a year, and the experience has been outstanding. The apartments are new, beatifully built, and I have not had a security problem or lost package.

The management and maintenance people are the best part. Scott and Alex have been fantastic! Many smiles and great response time.

Extra credit goes to them for incredible decorations and events. Christmas is amazing with a beautifully decorated lobby and a great Christmas party for the residents.

I accidentally called this apartment complex as the apartment complex I live in is also called Encore, but in a different state. SO, I wasn’t paying attention and called and Scott picked up. He let me voice my concerns, and then let me know that I was calling the wrong complex 🤦🏾‍♀ just wanted to say THANK YOU, Scott!! Such a sweet and positive, patient person. 💓 his customer service is top tier!!

The past year living in Encore has been great experience. The apartment building is well maintained and organized. All staff members are amazing. They are always there to help. The overall experience is so worry free and that helped me so much settling in the Bay Area. Will definitely recommend!

One of the most stressful things they say in life is moving. Encore, a luxury apartment experience; with Jonatan, Louiegi, and the maintenance team, the move was smooth and stress-free.

We are now making our new place our home, and even in that transition, most sales teams will forget you and move on to the next lease. Not this team, they have been providing us tremendous help in getting us settled into the nuances of our apartment. They are super quick to respond and very helpful and courteous about our needs.

We would recommend this place to anyone!

Merry Christmas Encore Team, Community, and Owners

I recently moved to Encore and it has been a delightful experience. This is a great community with excellent facilities. All the staff members (Scott, Alex and Manny) are very helpful.
I would like to call out Alex for his outstanding service. Alex goes above and beyond to ensure the resident requests are addressed in a timely manner. I was very impressed to see how Alex sets up reminders and follows up on any upcoming requests.
Overall I am very satisfied with my decision to choose Encore.

We were glad to meet Alex who made us to fall in love with this apartment. He is nice, kind and professional as well. The Encore team is also great and accommodating that make us feel safe and comfortable to live in.
The location is the best – walking distance to downtown and train station – very close to US Highway 101. We highly recommend anyone to come over and take a look how great is our neighborhood.

My mom had a beautiful, large apartment at Encore for almost three years. The building is top-notch, and it has great access to downtown Redwood City. It’s a smaller apartment building so it doesn’t feel overwhelming.

The entire team at Encore was great. I’d especially like to thank Moises who was very responsive and helpful during my mom’s move-out. Manny and Trevar were also great help as we went through the process of handing over the apartment for the next tenant.

Encore has been the greatest living experience in my adult life. No joke, it is safe and clean here. The staff is attentive and caring, Scott is a strong manager that excels in communicating, Manny performs every task with grace and patience, and Alex is an outstanding representative for our community! I couldn’t ask for a better team and feel my family is very blessed to live here.

Encore in Redwood City is by far the best apartment complex in which I have lived. The building itself is brand new and great, but Moises, Louiegi, Manny and Diego make it a pleasure to live in. Those four are always super attentive and go above and beyond.

They host happy hours which are great for getting to know them and the rest of the community. They arrange for different food trucks to come to the apartment which I always look forward to. There is also a community garden that is harvested weekly with seasonal veggies.

My partner and I had an extremely smooth lease signing experience – there aren’t any `hidden` fees which we have encountered – something we greatly appreciate.

10/10 - would recommend.

I have live in Encore for about 2 years and I absolutely love it. It’s a very calm clean place no loud noises. It’s a place where I feel safe and secure and every one in the community complex is really respectful. Not to forget the great get together community complex Encore organizes. When I have any questions or concerns Moises the complex manager is really professional and answer’s my emails and calls with in minutes with the best manners. Manuel the maintenance mangers is also really professional when ever I need help into fixing something in my unit he is always on top of it. I highly recommend Encore.

I lived here for 2 years - best apartment complex I've stayed at. Management was extremely nice and helpful. The apartment was new and in great shape. The location is a quick walk to downtown Redwood City and the Caltrain station. I'll miss Encore and would recommend it to anyone!

Our experience at Encore was the best, we 100% enjoyed our stay at Encore here. The apartment itself is brand-new (built in 2019), with luxury interior finishes and appliances. The management team was also very professional. They respond super fast and will always reach out to you the next day after you submit maintenance requests. Encore is not a big community, but it's quiet, elegant and a place I'll call it home. I definitely recommend it to people who are considering to live in Redwood City.

Encore is one of the best communities that we have ever lived in, and we highly recommend it. The management team, Jonatan and Louiegi, as well as the maintenance team, are very professional, friendly, and genuinely great people. They have always been helpful and did their best to make our move in and move out easy and smooth.
The apartment building and all the common areas are very clean and well-maintained, thanks to their excellent maintenance team. We enjoyed our stay at Encore, and it was a tough decision for us to move from such a great environment to downtown San Fransisco.

We have been living here for a few years now and the experience has been fantastic. Downtown is walking distance, with a great selection of restaurants. The resident events set up by management are always a great time. Speaking of management, Moises and his maintenance team are very accessible and helpful anytime we’ve needed help with repairs or questions of any kind. I highly recommend anyone to come on over and be our new neighbors!

Encore has been a great community for us over the past several years. We were initially attracted to this complex because the layout and finishings in the apartment were really nice for the price and the location was great -- a quick walk to downtown restaurants and the Caltrain. In addition, the neighbors are friendly -- our dog loves hanging out with other dogs in the dog run area -- and the staff are always a delight to chat with and have been quick to respond to the few maintenance requests we've had (specifically, Manny has gone above and beyond. I think he once resolved a non-urgent issue within an hour of me placing the request on the online portal).

It has been a month since I moved here and I am having very happy days. My husband and I feel very safe. The yard and surroundings are always neat and clean, and the professional and friendly Moises always makes us happy. I thought it would be noisy. Because there is an In-N-Out right next door. But I've never been bothered by it except one weekend, when the kids sang a happy birthday song out loud. Even my neighbors are very quiet and trying not to disturb others. I also want to be a good neighbor to them. Anyway, we are planning to live here for a long time. (And I've never smelled dog urine on an apartment carpet.)

I have so far had a great experience with the guys at the leasing office. I had to tour and reserve my apartment virtually from another country and Louiegi and Moises were extremely helpful and accommodating and made our transition extremely smooth. It's been a month since we've been here and our stay has been wonderful (we even managed to host our friends for a party in the clubhouse and they all loved it!).

It's been a month of us moving here and we are loving our stay. Moises, Louiegi, Diego have all been super helpful so far. The complex has a small community feel to it but also feels luxe. Love their rooftop, free veggies on Thursday and just the way they have organized mail pick up etc. And my apartment itself feels like new and I have had no issues so far.

I lived in this community for one year and so far it is the best apartment complex in the Bay Area I lived in or visited.
Excellent new building (spacious floor plans, Nest AC, good soundproofing, a dog run and a back yard with BBQ), good location - perfect proximity to CalTrain (you don't hear it but it only takes a 12-minutes walk to the Redwood station) and 10 minutes to downtown.
But what makes this community truly unique -- Jonatan and his crew!
They are very helpful and go above and beyond to make you happy.
Before I met Jonatan I did not realize that a community manager can contribute so much to making you feel at home at your new place. Unfortunately I had to move to other apartments but I already miss our talks and I miss his amazing smart dog, a mascot of Encore Apartments, Coco.

After staying 1 year at Encore, my wife and I have enjoyed our experience here and would recommend this community to others!

We are on the top floor (6th) facing the In-N-Out side. Here are the key factors for us:
- Dedicated Staff: Both the office and the maintenance staff are accommodating! Some examples where they go above & beyond:
- When the package locker is full, we can find our packages delivered to our door, usually by the staff members. Once Jonathan (the office manager) came up to our unit to deliver a mail left out of the mailbox by USPS.
- Once my car battery died, the two folks from maintenance helped me jump-start my car to head to the dealership.
- Excellent sound isolation for adjacent units: When in the unit, we never hear our neighbors next to us. It is pretty quiet in the corridor as if the complex is mostly empty.
- Package delivery system: The Luxor system here is pretty reliable and utilized even by the same-day delivery carriers. We never lost packages. They are either in the locker, mailbox, or in front of our door.
- Security: Most doors & both elevators require key fobs to enter.
And we agree with other reviewers on location, appliances, etc.

In-N-Out
- Lively view: We enjoyed the view of the restaurant! It's interesting to see various people. (Apparently, police officers love burgers!)
- Food Smell: We do smell the food even on the top floor. Sometimes it is pretty intense during lunch & dinner time, so we close our windows. But we don't smell anything since shelter-in-place started even after the place reopened
- Noise from the restaurant: The restaurant unloads food and power-wash frequently in early mornings. It was pretty loud in Summer 2019. Encore staff talked to them, and they have gone better since. It's barely noticeable now for us
- Noise from customers: There are occasional shouting from people and muscle cars, but not a deal-breaker.

Overall, our experience has been pretty enjoyable, and it's the best apartment we have lived in!
