We love going to vesta because their pizzas are super delicious, and we get to bring our dog! We always get the marinara with smoked mozzarella (highly recommend) and their pesto pizza! Their poached pears with ricotta are great too!

This pie checks all the boxes. It's amazing. The pepperoni, honey, and chili flakes combined for an insanely flavorful experience. The structure was great too. Not too much flop while also being soft, chewy, but crunchy where it needs to be. This pizza is nothing short of a SHOWSTOPPER

Sat in the back patio, which was nice and warm and covered. Food was solid. We didn’t like the pear burrata special, but the pizzas were quality (we got the sausage honey and sausage broccolini pizzas). The bread pudding dessert was solid too. Overall, recommend this restaurant

Solid pizza. Sausage and hot honey was good. Pesto one was good too. A little spicy. Gets busy, even on a Thursday. Only 1 bathroom. Not too much indoor seating but their heaters go hard. Parking is a little difficult

The honey sausage pizza is sooooo special! If you are a fan of mix of spice and sweetness, you should try this one. We also ordered Brussels Sprouts as appetizer-it’s also amazing and personally I would say it’s the best Brussels Sprouts I have tried ever. The taste is a mix of bacon smokiness, fruity sweetness and lemon sourness. The food comes up pretty slow so would recommend if you are not rushing back to work or something.

I really liked this place. The wild arugula salad was exquisitely delicious. The thin pizza with burrata delighted with its touch of freshness and juiciness. The affogato for dessert was superb!

I started with the short rib small plate which was delicious, and the salad was fresh and delicious. The service was good as the staff checked on me at appropriate times without being overbearing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

They have a large selection of pizza and our table ordered four different kinds. They all were were delicious. Very enjoyable experience. Lot of seating space available in front and back of the restaurant as well

Amazing pizza!! They have good vegetarian options. We tried their spicy pesto and it was sooo good. The pizza crust was perfect and the toppings were of the right amount. We also got their cauliflower appetizer which had almonds and raisins with some sweet sauce. Add some chilli flakes to it and you'll have a delicious sweet and spicy appetizer. Definitely gonna revisit. Also, their patio seating is gorgeous!

I had ordered from Vesta before during the start of the pandemic and it was my first time visiting. It was even better in person! They have a covered heated area in the back with poinsettias and lights which made for a lovely ambience day after Christmas. We ordered ricotta toast, mushroom toast, arugula salad, roasted cauliflower, burrata basil pizza and spicy vegan pizza along with freshly squeezed orange juice. With the exception of spicy vegan pizza, I loved all of the other items. We’ll be back again for more!

Some of the best pizzas around (and the salads are great too). Always have specials which are worth trying for their novelty and taste. Can't make reservations so better to come off peak not to be disappointed.

My favorite pizza place in the area. Have been coming for the past 6 years and never been disappointed.
All of their small plates are delicious as well - not sure what they do to their veggies but especially the cauliflower and the carrots are amazing!
Service is always friendly. They have heated outdoor seating, indoor seating and terrace seating in the back.

Lively crowd, fantastic staff attentive and helpful. The food is absolutely amazing pizzas are delicious great combinations of flavors. The crust has delicious flavor and it's the right amount of chewy with the right amount of crisp. Sausage and honey is one of my favorites perfect combination of savory, sweet & spice. The basil and burrata has a great fresh basil taste with the creaminess of burrata. The pesto and cheese is the perfect white pie. Now the grilled carrots are absolutely delicious with the spices and yogurt dipping sauce in the beet salad is delicious fresh beets and avocado with a nice arugula blend and perfect dressing. Love this pace and always enjoy the wait and seeing all the people. Can't wait to come back.

I always get Margherita with green chili. I eat it right away as it's cool down quickly.

Actual Wood fired oven
All ingredients are fresh, high quality and local as sourced as possible
Made it like Neapolitan style* (without imported stale products I.e sauce)
Location: it's excellent place to dine in or go on date
Owner/staff: very welcoming, enthusiastic, happy to accommodate dietary needs such as no onion no garlic, have bunch of vegan options now.
Clean: alway very clean place and maintaining sanitation standard for covid too.

Not so great: parking!
During non-covid times, always busy so make a reservation or order ahead for To-go.
Prices are little higher than average.

On the side note for vegetarians: avoid using Parmesan-Reggiano as it contains animal rennet.

Amazing amazing place. The mushroom toast was amazing and the olive pizza had perfect crust and the different cheese textures and flavors mixed in harmony with the contrast of olives and peppers.

The breadcrumb dessert was divine! It had a huge mix of textures, flavors, and consistency. Between the coffee and vanilla and chocolate hints, it’s very hard to not overindulge. It’s also a huge dessert!

Absolutely delicious pizza... but definitely don't get delivery - the thin crist is made to eat fresh out of the pizza oven! And if you can, opt for outside patio seating.

This is my favorite pizzeria in the Bay area. I’ve visited here countless times when I was living in Redwood City. Now I live about 30 mins away and I continously go back to Redwood City just to eat at Vesta. This is truly a Redwood City gem.

My go-to menus are honey and sausage pizza, mushroom toasts, and affogatto. Extremely friendly staff, vibrant and cozy ambience, and awesome food; what more can you ask from a restaurant?

Do yourself a favor and treat yourself a slice of sausage and honey pizza and thank me later ;)

Great service and great food. For two people I recommend the meatballs with a side of bread + a pizza of you choice. I only have a picture of the Sausage Honey pizza. Sound weird, but it's great 👍

Went to RWC on Thursday last week to visit a friend and their kid with my kid. We came here for lunch and decided to split everything between us. Our wait time was only 20 minutes or so when asking for a table. When seated outside, we were asked our beverage choices within minutes, very fast service the whole time. They brought our waters out and kept re-filling regularly without ever having to ask. When the server came over to read us the specials, she sold us on the grilled asparagus with Citrus vinaigrette and parm. We also ordered a Margherita pizza with pepperoni and grilled bread with olive oil. Everything came out amazing and the server came to check in on us after every dish to make sure it was to our liking. When it came time to ask if we wanted dessert we decided on the bread pudding. It was way different to what I was used to but still delicious. Both of our kids are neurodivergent and the servers were so kind the entire time as my friend's kid had comments for every question they asked. I would definitely come here again for the service and food. Between 2 adults and 2 kids, it came to about $40 with tip. The prices seemed high but it didn't total that much so we were impressed.
