Potomac Yard Center

Was actually here to visit to brand new station. It is very nice, airy and pleasant. Shops are a bit of a hike from the station and many will soon be gone from the area. Kind of dumb, build a great station with shops nearby and then remove said shops for something else. Mind boggling to be honest.

I went to Michael's and felt like a kid in a candy store!!! Fantastic finds, great displays, and very neatly arranged. I never find things strewn all over the place, like you do in other stores. I always find the prices to be reasonable. Could have had a few more staff members on the floor to assist customers.

A quick jaunt to the Barnes & Noble bookstore. Easy to find parking - in and out quick.

My friend & I started off at Bestbuy to pick up my birthday gift, then we headed down to Old Navy for a few clothing items and finished that up at The Wine store where we picked up a few bottles of the wine we both enjoyed.

Great Experience as everything is expanding. Love the shopping Center close to public transportation and Walking the community.

Loved it. Great, with restaurants, shops, the water, the walking.
I always visit when I am in Alexandria.

Living in DC this mall is very easy to access for people without an automobile

This is a beautiful area very different to the crowded areas.
Good for walking and having conversations .

Great little shopping center. I ran to Home Depot for cement but also use the Pet Store and the Shoppers for groceries. I can also drop by TJMAXX for a little relaxation. Pick up yummy subs, or chicken or a great Moe's salad. Best time running through the McDonald's for my favorite McCafe. Great little shopping center.

Great food, but too bad they are close for good.

On our 2nd day stay, we returned to our room after a long day, and it smelled like smoke. Staff tried air freshener. Air freshner did not help. Staff changed our room from venue side to a different room. Very outstanding response.Great location. Restuarant breakfast was good.

Huge constructions are going in and around the metro center. The place is too quiet and you wont see many people here.

Surprised to find a strip mall in a bustling metropolis

We took the Metroway bus from Braddock Road. We visited Barnes & Noble (got my favorite British Edition magazines), TJMaxx for a small American garden flag & Best Buy for an updated streaming device. Then we hopped back on the Metroway bus back to Braddock Road. Easy peasy and the fare is only $1 each way.

Nowhere near the old rail yard it used to be. Lots of options for food and shopping. No more movie theater but target, giant, and Barnes and Noble are much better alternatives.

The Starbucks at Potomac Yard is one of the best around, because they have excellent Customer service, all employees are kind and helpful. Thank you, and please never change. I wish all the other Starbucks around this area, would have the same attitude. Some of their employees are very nasty and if it wasn't because I like Starbucks products, I would walk away. After all I am paying for it.

This shopping center is always busy. Plenty of available parking it's well lit with lanes clearly marked and fair amount of handicap parking. The roadways are well maintained. The stores are clean and debris free for an open space shopping center.

I just stop by to get a sandwich and cup of coffee. The attention was quick and fast.
