Madigan's Waterfront

Love this restaurant! I ate here yesterday June 30th (birthday lunch) with my mom and aunt. The service (Ms. Christine) was excellent! Her friendly attitude, helpfulness in selecting choices and overall service was awesome! The food is so GOOD!!! I highly recommend you check this restaurant out and please TIP the wait staff good, they deserve it for their awesome service!!

We had a wonderful experience. Our waiter was attentive and only there when we needed him. Sitting on the deck gave us a view of the water and all the people on it. We got to see birds amd other wildlife. Service was quick. Food was exceptional. my husband had the fish tacoshr chose the Maui Maui on the tacos. I had the Shrimp Po Boy, which was wonderful. Would suggest eating here anytime.

An excellent, low key, no frills, waterfront seafood restaurant. I went for lunch, Monica was my server and she was fantastic. The oysters 🦪 were so fresh and delicious. The crab soup was exceptional! The view is pretty great if you can sit outside. Highly recommend! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Although I gave the atmosphere 3 stars it was also Father's Day today so I'm pretty sure we go back it will be better. But overall I had a day on the Potomac AND wanted a good meal. This was tasty too, the stuffed shrimp and crab cakes will have you drive from MD. And our waitress ,forgot her name, was phenomenal, Thanks to all the staff we interacted with today.

My husband and I stopped by Madigan’s last Friday, Sept. 1 on the recommendation of friends. The restaurant is located on a river and we sat outside soaking up the wonderful atmosphere. Our server, Delmar, was very attentive and upbeat! By far the biggest compliment has to go to chef, Fausto, for his crab cakes. I consider myself a crab cake snob, having grown up/lived around the Chesapeake Bay my whole life. I’ve eaten crab cakes all over the East Coast of the U.S. but these crab cakes were the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the platter and there were 2 huge crab cakes, hardly any filler, with all back fin crabmeat, seasoned and cooked to perfection. The remoulade sauce was a perfect paring with the crab cakes. The whole meal was perfection! 5 Stars to Madigan’s for serving up the best crab cakes ever!!! We’ll be back!

Had an impromptu lunch. Chicken salad sandwich was very good and the chips were as well. Was on a date and the waiter was great…we stayed at our table forever while we were talking but the waiter never made us feel like we were taking up space. A nice place with a great staff and view.

Loved our dinner at Madigan’s! We had a nice view of the water from the heated/closed-in patio, the food (fish tacos, crab dip, hot apple cider) was delicious, and the staff was kind. Will definitely come back!

This was an extremely amazing dinner. The food, staff, and atmosphere is second to none. I only take time to rate restaurants when it’s deserving.. and this place is. I will definitely bring friends and family any time I’m able. You guys rock!

Went to brunch on Sunday. Food was delicious and Kenny was an amazing server! The home fries had a little Parmesan that was unexpected but good and the bacon was nice and crispy.🤤

Best summer spot in Northern Virginia. I’ve never had a bad time here and I’ve been a million times if you just want a drink they have an entire tiki bar area with music and a waterfront view. Just want dinner? They have an excellent indoor fine dining area. Oh rainy day happy hour is pretty amazing inside as well. Food is 10/10 and the drinks are always made well plus service is better then good.

The view and the atmosphere with the live music was great. The food was really good and the staff were welcoming. My server Maddy was very sweet and helpful. She gave great recommendations and was attentive. Will definitely be coming back!

Enjoyed a special meal on this Monday. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Maddie my Hostess and my Server Katie and Christie was learning the ropes. After some indecision on my part, I ordered the catch of the day, baked potato and veggies. Topped off with a wonderful desert. I had the hot apple tart, served with vanilla ice cream, drizzled with hot caramel topping. Most patrons enjoyed the excellent conditions for the outdoor seating.

Friend of mine recommended me the shaved ribeye sandwich and it was amazing. Definitely going try other meals on the menu next time!

Madigans steak and cheese (shaved ribeye) is the top notch in the whole DMV. In fact, everything in their menu is great! Their appetizers, entrees, and sandwiches is the definition of quality and delicious meal. I highly recommend Madigans Waterfront for a great food and a great vibe!

Always have a great experience at Madigans. You kind of expect a touristy vibe because it's on the river in Occoquan, but it has a local feel. The food is great and the bartenders even better.

We don't often eat here, but when we have, the food has been good! And it's right on the water. We go for karaoke on Thursdays and it's always fun! Fun crowd and friendly bartenders.

Had a great time w my daughters on my birthday. The waiter was very cool and the food was perfect.

Quesadilla was really good. Delicious bay potato chips. Great service. It was expensive but very nice to sit by the water for a relaxing atmosphere.

Great place for a grad brunch. Had the best time. Amazing service. Incredible venue. All around amazing 👏
