Came for brunch with a friend and had a good time. Sat at the bar. Food and drinks were great and came out fast. Service was good from start to finish. I'd definitely recommend this hidden gem to others!

This place was the place serving food past 11 and I am so glad I came here. Customer service was good. Stayed downstairs due to a party going on upstairs. Food and drinks were very good.

Ordered the:
Grilled lamb burger: 9/10 I wish it had a little more of the yogurt sauce
Fries: seasoned well and fried just enough for a light crisp
Chadwick’s reserve Manhattan: very good, do not get if not a fan of bitters

Solid choice for brunch in the area. The decor is really cool as well, exposed stone walls, awesome tiled floors. The chicken is the star here. Get anything with the fried chicken and you can’t go wrong. The only issue I can think of is the lack of options for sides. Come for the chicken and stay for the beers. Don’t pass this place up.

Nice restaurant close to the water and shops. Club sandwich was great. Great atmosphere in historic area.

This is our first time eating here, and it won't be our last time. Our Waiter, Luis, was absolutely amazing. He even told us the history of the restaurant and how the food is made (all from scratch), which by the way you need to try the crab dip, which comes with home made pita bread which is absolutely amazing. Also, the dipping sauces are delicious, one of the best honey mustard sauce that we have ever tasted. He also told us that the blue cheese is made from scratch, I can't wait to try that. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

My boyfriend and I ate here on First Night Alexandria and it was packed. Despite how busy it was, we received wonderful food and wonderful service. I was pleased with the vegetarian options on the menu. We ordered the black bean burger, the nachos, and the shrimp and grits and everything was incredible. The ambiance and atmosphere of the place is beautiful as well; the pictures online drew us to eat here, and it definitely delivered.

We were served by Molly who was a bright smiley ball of joy. I can imagine on a very busy night like the one we came on, she had a packed shift either in front of her or behind her by the time she served us, and yet she was energetic and attentive to us our whole meal. She was such a delight!

If you're considering coming to this restaurant, I couldn't recommend it more highly. Thank you Chadwick for making our New Years (and our anniversary) special!

Walking around Old Town looking for a homemade style breakfast and came across this place--was not disappointed at all. We were immediately seated and enjoyed the inviting environment with old school r&b music. Lastly, everyone should get the french toast and cinnamon butter. Trust me.

Food and portion sizes are appropriate. Inexpensive. Fast quick service. Server was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. I highly recommend the french toast and three egg omelette that you can customize to your liking. No military discount offered. Metered street parking available

What a place! My wife found this place as we were exploring brunch places in Alexandria. The place has an amazing vibe, loved the ambience. Our server Alexander was really kind and friendly, he also helped us pick the correct menu items as we are vegetarians. We tried scrambled eggs with salad and fruit as sides and black bean veggie burger with salad as side. We loved the salad dressing, very unique in flavors. Overall a great experience, definitely coming back.

We just came in for a quick lunch on a Tuesday. The place was pretty quiet but the service and the food was great. Everyone found something that they liked. Good place to come back..

Enjoyed an evening for girls getaway weekend and dinner our first night was here. The server was amazing with 10 women. The food was promptly served. I had the shrimp and grits and it was absolutely my favorite. I recommend the sangria as well. Would definitely come back again!

Great atmosphere, fun crowd. Glad to find it too for late-night grub and a bar. 'Server Bar 8' gets special kudos for being so understanding and making us feel so welcome. Thank you, Katelyn (please forgive if I didn't spell your name right 🙂...you were awesome!)

Great atmosphere, wonderful food (my crab cake sandwich was perfect) and the service was superb.

Only complaint... the urinals in the men's bathroom are a bit high up on the wall. Not all men are above 6'.

Otherwise, great spot!

I had the cold brew old fashioned and it was amazing! I've never had something like this and I'm so glad I tried it. Luis made the drinks and made sure we had excellent service. He was absolutely wonderful! We will definitely be coming back and sitting upstairs at the bar again!

This place was good. Had an evening drink and fried green tomatoes. Fried green tomatoes were ok. They had an Oktoberfest beer that was pretty good. Decor was nice. I would definitely recommend this place. UPDATE: We went back and had the burger, fish tacos and a couple sides. Mac and cheese was not my favorite. Burger was okay. Fish tacos were great.

Had roast beef sandwich which was delicious. Local place where the bartenders make you feel at home. Very friendly atmosphere!

I was traveling for work and came here solo. The hostess let me sit outside and the server was fast and a pleasure to talk to. Will be back when i come back.

This is a great place with a great vibe. Bartender's are all good Nick,David,Charles with great personality and charm they will take care of you. The food is also good I love cheeseburger &,Chicken Casadia simple menu and good vibe what more can you ask for it.
