What a wonderful surprise to walk into this establishment for the first time.
The store was clean and we were great within moments of looking around.
There was multiple selections for seasonings, teas, salts, grains, and peppers.
They make tea for you on the spot for purchase.
If you have any allergens they provide you with a card of the Allergen list.
They offer a military discount as well.

We were really impressed with this business! Nice people and really nice stuff. Great selection of everything to do with making good tea! They also have a wall of spiffy sugars.

Great shop with great selection. If you're a tea lover this is a great place to shop. Various sized bags to meet your needs. Great accessories to support or enhance your team making experience at home. Note, if you're visiting for the first time, the door doesn't open on to the street. You have to walk up into the alcove and the door will be on the right.

Wandered into this store on a whim because I love tea and spices. The ladies greeted me immediately with friendly smiles and gave me a minute or two to start looking around before saying hello and asking if I had any questions. I didn't but we had some lovely conversation and she offered some ideas. Another gentleman was looking for some specific items and he was helped completely from beginning to end. These ladies have got their customer service down. They're available but not pushy, friendly and authentic, helpful and knowledgeable. I just loved getting to chat a little with them and can't wait to try my purchases. The teas are on the more expensive end but I've also seen more expensive, and they offered a buy 3 get a sugar free deal as well as a rewards program to build points. I'm not from the area so I'm not sure when I'll be back, but I'll definitely stop back in when I'm in town. Great selection of teas, powders, spices, sugars, blends and even candles, rubs, gums and candies, etc. Fans of flavor should definitely find something they like. I stayed nearby so I walked, but it was easy to get to/find. The store was clean, organized and well stocked. But the employees are there best assets!

I went to this shop for the first time to get some holiday gifts. The staff person who met us at the door couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and the gifts were a big hit. There is an excellent variety of spices and teas for any occasion; I'll be back.

Great teas. Their honeybee ginger elixir tea is a miracle. The second anyone starts feeling under the weather at work a cup sets them right. It's great for sore throats and hoarse voices.

The store is nicely arranged and clean. Plus, it always smells nice in there.

This is a great place for anyone who loves to cook. They have nearly everything you could imagine in the store when it comes to spices. The smells of all the fall spices were filling the air today, how lovely it was! The staff are so very helpful and knowledgeable about their products, if you need anything they are right there for you. I would definitely recommend getting a tea while you are in the store and sip it as you walk along King St. outside. The prices for the spices and tea are also very fair! Lovely store and staff!

Stopped by on my way through Old Town and spent an hour in the store. What an awesome place. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable and there were so many spice blends. Considering what a jar of quality spices cost at whole food the prices were def affordable. I can't wait to use my Aleppo peppers. Will be back in the future.

Amazing little store! I loved the ambiance and smell inside. They had a while variety of spices, teas, sugars, and salts. Tea lovers and home chefs are sure to find something they will love here. I tried the Emperor's Chai Tea and really enjoyed it. It is a unique Chai for sure. The pink pepperberries are also great, and I like that you can purchase them already in a grinder.
The staff was also kind, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Best tea Around come all the way from Maryland. Love the Hippie Green Tea but it is seasonal! My wife enjoys alot of the seasonal teas also. Great place. Remember u can make more then 1 cup u dont have to empty everything in your tea holder it can be dried and reused. Peace Out, Tea Master Flex

This store is a fantastic fine for any cook or tea lover. The selection is vast, well organized and of good quality. They also carry special blends and interesting tea accessories including a fabulous set of tea balls. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

Fair warning: be prepared for amazing customer service and to spend money. If you appreciate good tea and spices? This is the place to be. I cannot recommend enough the Tiki Punch Tea with the Key Lime Sugar. It's refreshing and delicious. I can't wait to come back for other things. They have endless options for everyone's needs.

Found this shop on a walking tour of Old Town. The shop is located on King Street, across from Old Town Farmer's Market location and Alexandria City Hall. Lots of spices and exotic teas, sample by smell before you purchase. I liked the customer service, staff will engage.

A tea bar is available to try the various hot and cold tea varieties.

Great service from the attentive staff without pushing you to buy. Pete was incredibly informative and helpful. As a new Comer to the loose leaf tea scene, it's helpful to have someone willing to answer questions and guide you to options that align with your tastes.

Shop was clean, well staffed, and well stocked. Major kudos to the team AND shout out to Pete for being a great resource and help.

So many different options and the BEST tea and spices. My British boyfriend requests I pick up the earl gray creme tea every time I buy more!

Definitely my favorite tea place here in Virginia. The service is outstanding and they open until 9pm Monday to Saturday.

What an amazing little gem of a store. I've never seen such an incredible collection of spices and spice blends, salts, peppers, and of course, teas! All gorgeous loose-leaf teas including some more unusual varieties than one typically finds. If you're the kind of person who just throws on some salt and uses Lipton, this is not the place for you. But if you're a home chef, or looking to stretch your abilities, or if you're a tea connoisseur, get over here immediately. The staff was lovely too. Helpful and welcoming without bugging you or hovering over you. I'd only suggest for them to do some advertising in the area! I've lived here for years and only found out about them by accident. Thankfully, now I know-- and I'll definitely be back.

The young lady employee was kind enough and passionate about all tea flavors! I felt I've got warm peppercorn, ginger, Victorian tea, sugar lavander to go through winter

Well organized, smells great, and pleasant to visit. Pricey, but the tea is absolutely worth it. The ruby oolong and apricot ginger black tea are particularly good, so go pick those up along with some spices.
