this is my favorite place for food anywhere in the area. Kind people. Great prices. Love going there

Everything is well organized and everything is with it price tags. Love to come here employees are very attentive and prices are not bad for the location.

A great neighborhood grocery, it may be small but has excellent produce, most of what one needs and I never wait in line for check-out.

I walked in for the first time this past Sunday morning. The store was clean and well stocked. Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. Byron (?) especially went out of his way to provide excellent customer service. It was honestly the best customer service I’ve experienced in a grocery store in years.

I love this neighborhood Safeway. Convenient to work to grab items for breakfast and lunch and later for dinner. The customer service is great.

The employees here are awesome. I go here a couple time each week and have always liked this Safeway, and have had many experiences of friendly staff. The recent situation has really shown how great the members of this Safeway's team are. Last I went, everything was better stocked than could be expected. THE BEST was one gentleman walking the aisles gregariously helping people find what they needed since some things were out. He was stocking some travel Lysol wipes, knew everyone would want some, and so just went around passing them out to shoppers. Consider thanking the team here next time you go in.

Why 5? It's local and has a hometown feel. And, fresh fruit/fresh vegetables, beer and wine are all great in quality and price. The rest is just a relatively small grocery store. Okay, maybe it's a 4 overall. The friendliness of the staff make it a 5. So, I'll stick with 5.

It's a pretty small store but the people are very friendly and they carried a few special food items that my more local store had discontinue.

Great convenience and nice, clean store, but wildly more expensive than just about everywhere else.

I was very impressed with this little store (I'm from the South). It's like a lil Walmart. Very good selection and variety, especially for its size. The cashier was very helpful and friendly too.

Smaller than the Giant Safeways stores we are used to out west. Clean, nice & helpful employees. They had everything needed.

I always get great meat, fish there, plus I save over $100. Per month shopping 🛒 at this supermarket........

Royal st Safeway is the best. They always make sure there are enough people at the registers. All the employees are helpful and kind. I appreciate the small town feel.

The best of a neighborhood grocery store! Skip the long lines and crowds. Everyone will make you feel welcome and you won't have to jockey around others for what you need.

I love my local store Ms Wanda the manager Salis is great he helps me find the small things I over look Allen has the biggest smile Christian is very polite the whole staff asks as a great big family ill continue coming there as long as there thanks Happy Holidays the Colbert family

Small quaint and perfect for old town

Very nice store but small. This limits a large selection but it is a fine store. Friendly staff

Helpful friendly staff, fresh produce, well lit, away from the hustle and bustle of the main Alexandria thoroughfares. Had everything I wanted.
