Avenue Deli

Stopped by here to grab some sandwiches to go for my son and myself on a busy, activity packed Saturday.
We got an Italian and a Roast Beef and Turkey on heroes. Very generous portions, packed with fresh crispy lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Nice pickles and hot peppers too, upon request.
Very satisfying sandwich.
There were 3 families seated enjoying sandwiches and the sandwiches all looked delicious. The pastrami also smelled delicious. I have to go back there to try it next time. :)

Awesome gluten-free NY style “Sloppy Joe” (roast beef, turkey, Swiss, coleslaw, and Russian dressing). Better than many non-Gluten free I’ve had. The photo does no justice for the sandwich!

Gluten free bread! I got the “midnight ride,” it was perfectly toasted and just the quick lunch we needed while we waited for the bus out of Lexington.

Service was quick and easy. Plus, the sandwiches are wrapped up with care with a couple layers so it made transport very easy. My husband got the “minuteman” sub and he says it was good too!

Generous portions, fast friendly service, really tasty. My gluten free sandwich was delicious and wasn’t the normal half size but loaded with meat.

The staff was friendly and wiped the counter off as they noticed us arriving. Had the turkey club and the napoli and both were great.

I'm not normally in Lexington but I was passing through and was quite hungry. Decided to stop in and order a Reuben sandwich... best single decision I've made in the past month! It was the best sandwich I've had in years! Maybe I was just hungry but still... highly recommend!!

I work right down the street, and can not believe that I have never been here!! I went today and had literally the best sub I have ever had. I can not wait to go try the next thing!! Ingredients were bright, fresh and chopped nicely as well as plentiful!! And it came with my favorite pickle on the side. I absolutely loved my sandwich and I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Great customer service! A few months back I ordered a soup-it was so hot the container barely held in the soup. When I got home I had barely any soup. They made it up to me and offered a complimentary sandwich. I got the chicken salad-amazing! My boyfriend loves all their food but especially the smoothies. Thank you!!

I especially recommend getting anything on rye bread, I'm a fan.

We came in on a Friday about 15 minutes before they closed with quite the order. The two employees (owners I'd presume) made them without any hesitation and in a quick fashion. The sandwiches were amazing its great to see people with passion keep up the hard work, as I'm sure they were excited for the day to end! I got the New York Double sandwich. It was awesome.

This is the place to get deli sandwiches! All the meats are high quality Boar’s Head deli meats. Jay and Tiffany are AWESOME, providing friendly and thoughtful service. Any opportunity I get, I bring or recommend people to Avenue Deli.

I bike about 20 miles to get to this place. Best. Pickles. Ever. Love pickles so much- plus the ingredient used in any sammy are FRESH AF. tastes so goood

A friend told me about this place and now I am hooked! I've been trying all of their subs and I haven't had a bad one yet. Everything tastes fresh and the people are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend giving Avenue Deli a try.

Fantastic little sandwich shop in Lexington with amazing owners. I love getting the chicken salad and the chili is delish! We come here once a week and its always a hit!
