Fischer-Gambino

If I could give Fischer-Gambino 10 stars on a scale of 1 to 5 that is how i would rate them. Each of the ladies were so helpful, knowledgeable, and down to earth..... 1) they each go out of their way to help you (Laurie took me under her wing today) 2) they are not pushy. They will help you put rooms together with an inexpensive light here but a more opulent light here..... they clearly know what they're doing to make your house a beautiful home. 3) some of the negative reviews talked about the ladies that worked there explaining that when a sign says do not touch it actually means do not touch. It is not a place for children... It is a beautiful family boutique lighting experience. It is not a playground. 4) if you need any light fixtures go here first.

Wifey and I walked in here to look at their chandeliers after we got in and noticed two that she had been eyeing on wayfair that were much cheaper here, so we bought them. The woman who assisted us was friendly and polite, got everything set and the chandeliers arrived at our residence in Missouri 5 days later in perfect shape.

Looking at the reviews after we walked out I got alarmed since there are so many single star reviews. I am not so sure why... I think because people expect these products sold here to be unique yet a lot of them can be found online. Depending on the time you visit the price will probably vary high or lower. In our situation, yeah the list price would have been higher than on wayfair but the sale actually did bring it lower than what it would cost if we bought it direct.

Great inventory, Terry was friendly and extremely professional! We enjoyed looking throughout the store. Amazing pieces, lighting, furniture, and other items. I highly recommended checking this place out. 👍👍

If I had endless money, this would be one of my first go to shops! They have the most unusual lamps and sculptures and furniture!!! I fell in love with sone leather/ zebra chairs, and mi keys lamps! Their sculptures are gorgeous! Plus the coolest hockey games made with carved animals. The people are very friendly and helpful. the lamps and all lighting were 50 % off, but still a little steep for me. The store is packed with cool stuff!

Love this store! Every time my husband Fred and I go to New Orleans, we make it a point to go to Fisher-Gambino. The store has the most unique selection that you can't find in your local furniture stores. I love having pieces in my home that not everyone else has. Would highly recommend this store.

Really pretty store, there were many funny sculptures and lighting. The store attendants were so nice and welcoming. Great addition to my family’s vacation here.

Very unique store with fabulous pieces, albeit a bit expensive. Loved so many things. Purchased the hourglass clock. So beautiful! Tim was very helpful and we were assured they could ship it to KC. Just rec'd the other day!! I love the way it looks in my home. Next time in NOLA, will definitely stop in!

WOW, JUST WOW. The customer service here is OFF THE CHARTS! I called today, and asked them if they had the floor lamp in stock to match a table lamp my boyfriend purchased from their storefront in New Orleans in January. I had a picture of it. I called them, texted them the picture. They called me back, I ordered it on the phone and it will be here in a few weeks. Easiest shopping I've ever done to buy a birthday present for a man that has everything. And he is going to be so surprised!
TIM AND VIRGINIA, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. And I had to tell Tim what EYE CANDY this store is. It's absolutely beautiful and mesmerizing all at the same time. And their prices! HALF OFF this particular lamp, and the shipping cost is so reasonable.
Looking for very unique pieces, this is the place to go when you're in New Orleans. If I could give them 10 Stars, I WOULD! Southern Hospitality at its finest!
P.S. My boyfriend's birthday is tomorrow, and the only thing they didn't do for me was get it here in 1 day! LOL! I'll take that!

Walking by on Royal Street we noticed this stunning lighting store one day and knew it was perfect for our new business. At Fisher-Gambino the staff was so professional and pleasant. They spent time with us helping us decide the perfect fixtures and the result couldn’t be more stunning. I’m over the moon happy with the way it turned out and get constant questions about where I could’ve found that perfect chandelier. I had to call the store long after install and ask a specific question about a dimmer and Laurie and her staff worked until they had the answer I needed. That’s rare customer service in today’s world. Walk by or visit either location and you’ll be drawn in no matter what lighting needs you have and if you are in need, don’t hesitate. I’ll never go anywhere else again. 10 STARS

They are somewhat dismissive if they think you are not a serious buyer being as they sell high end merchandise. My 20 year old daughter wanted to look at a few items and told me she was not receiving assistance. When I arrived and asked about a $12,000 table they understood we were serious and were very helpful. We bought a wonderful sphere shaped chandelier which they shipped to North Dakota and we had installed yesterday with no problem.
As Native Americans they knew we were minorities but I believe their lack of initial assistance is monetarily based and not racially motivated.

This place is amazing. On spring break down here and ran into this gem. The customer service I received was fantastic. Leaving here with a gorgeous Tiffany light for my dining room. The owner and her staff were friendly, knowledgeable and beyond helpful in my purchase. Highly recommend if you are looking for something to make your home uniquely yours. Love this place.

Our home flooded in August of 2016 and we had to completely redo our bottom floor. Laurie helped us choose the perfect lighting for our home and we are absolutely thrilled with the products and customer service we have received! The team at F&G not only have gone over and beyond to assist our family, but have truly become a part of our extended family. Whether you are looking for 1 small piece or looking for numerous pieces...F&G is the place to go! The best customer service we have ever received!

If you are seeking lighting, this is a First Class establishment. I knew this when I purchased two chandeliers (one Crystal, and the other was Alabaster) from them 15 yrs ago. I ran into a situation recently that required time and effort on their part.....I moved to a new home and the chain on the 19 arm crystal chandelier was not long enough for the 13 foot ceiling in the new house.

Cheryl asked me to email her the details of my chandelier, and she'd see what could be done. Within 2 weeks, she coordinated with the distributor for me to purchase 6 feet of (heavy duty but beautiful) chain from them directly.

Looking out for a client they havent seen in almost 15 yrs reiterates the superior customer service of Fischer-Gambino and their commitment to excellence. I wish they had a store in Tampa.

I personally cannot afford anything in Fischer-Gambino, but I love to walk through here looking at all the pretty things. It takes about ten minutes to stroll through the predetermined path, marveling at all the beautiful chandeliers and antiques ... and all the zeros behind the numbers on the price tags. If I ever win the lotto, I have my eye on a handful of things in here. The lady who runs this place is very nice, and my only complaint is that photos are not allowed. :)

We have purchased 2 chandeliers and 2 bronze fountains from Patty at Fischer-Gambino and have thoroughly enjoyed our experiences in purchasing and our purchases. We have truly unique items and we feel we bought them at a fair price. We have recommended this store to our friends who have had similar stellar experiences as well.

We have purchased so many lights from Fischer Gambino and as if the selection wasn't enough to wow us, the customer service is really what keeps us coming back! We have had a few issues with some of the lights we bought, none of which was the fault of Fischer Gambino, but they helped us every single time!

One issue didn't happen until we had had the chandelier for a whole year and they still were eager to help us and they didn't quit until we were happy. We knew if we had purchased the fixture online, we would have been out of luck a year later.
