Hands down my favorite place in all the French Quarter..... They not only have exceptional service, the food is no laughing matter. They have some of the best oysters in town and the prices are phenomenal! Definitely a must go for locals and tourists alike

I visited New Orleans last weekend and was on the hunt for the best gumbo. I ordered it at every restaurant and this place had my favorite, hands down. I came back on my last day for one more taste before leaving town. Service was great, the employees were all so nice and personable. I cannot wait to come back!

Hands down the single best dish I had in New Orleans. The crawfish mac was absolutely delightful. I would eat that any day of the week, and I would certainly recommend. Even the fries were extra tasty.

My travel buddy rolled the dice and tried the oysters despite previous oyster experiences (at other places) being poor. She didn't expect to love them, but she did! I am also not an oyster person and she convinced me to try one. I was pleasantly surprised to actually enjoy an oyster for the first time.

I am a cider girl, and I loved how many cider options they had to choose from at the bar. I tried a different cider each time I went up - definitely not a common experience for me at most of the places I visit, especially back home where cider options are bare bones, at best.

Very happy that someone told us to check this place out. Loved everything. I would definitely return for delicious food and drinks!

came here 3 nights in a row, service and food was excellent every time! the crawfish mac & cheese and all variations of the fresh charbroiled oysters were my favorites.

During a Crawl New Orleans tour our guide made a pit stop here at this FANTASTIC hole in the wall! Great beer selection, live entertainment, sports and you can pass the time with games readily available at your table. If you enjoy a chill bar where you can actually be entertained or hold a conversation without yelling look no further. The bar tenders and patrons were really friendly too, but I didn't get a chance to try the food.

Good little spot along the Tour path, forgot the name of the drink but it looked magnificent and am sure was throughly enjoyed!

The largest and freshest Raw oysters I have ever had. Ordered Raw and grilled oysters. The grilled were the best and I ended up eating two dozen. Sat outside and listed to a wonderful jazz trio while we ate and watched the college football games. You have to order at the back entrance and there is no serving staff. I would call this a hole in the wall you need to explore. Great local vibe!

VIBES! OYSTERS! The chargrilled oysters were amazing, they are shucked fresh right in front of you. Got the original, Lucianos, and raw, all great. The live musicians were amazing. Friendly staff. Chill atmosphere, no crazy obscene lines.

We highly recommend the Crawfish Mac-n-cheese and the Catfish Po'boy!!! BEST catfish EVA!

Walking around and asking random locals where to go for fresh oysters.. this was recommended by several and was a hit!! Almost finished the whole dozen by myself!! Nuoc Cham sauce is where it's at!! Also had the crawfish mac.. delish!!

Absolutely love this place. As a local, my friends and I know most of the bars but we were very happy to stumble upon this little gem. The drinks are fabulous and the bartender was super friendly. But I especially have to brag on the chef and the food. Bree is top notch. The food is literally a mouth orgasm. She even came out to our table and introduced herself. Fabulous personality and just adorable. A must try. Definitely say hi to Bree. She is the epitome of the New Orleans attitude. Just Fabulous!!

Hubby and I decided to eat here for dinner on a Sat evening. The bar is very clean. The courtyard area is nice. All of the workers were friendly. The food came out pretty quickly. The cheese steak Philly, crawfish mac, greens, and potato salad were the bomb. The gumbo was ok...not bad not great. The oysters were a Lil overcooked and there wasn't all that juicy goodness left in the shell there generally is that you can sop up with the bread, but we did sop up the cheese from the macaroni with it lol the hurricane I got was delicious as well. Maybe just a tad pricey for some of the food. I'd definitely go back again especially for that potato salad and the greens.

EXCELLENT food no matter what you order (we had the fried green tomato sandwich and iceburg salad and char grilled oysters) the music was great when we were there and the staff and people were just awesome! We went back three times on our short vacation. can't wait to visit again.

When I walked into MRB Bar & Kitchen in New Orleans, the smell of good food hit me right away. The Philly Po' Boy sandwich I ordered was amazing. The beef was really tender and tasted great. It had just the right amount of seasoning. My friend got the Catfish Po' Boy, and I tried a bit. It was super fresh and also seasoned well.

We had some drinks too. I had a cider beer and another cocktail, both of which were really good and hit the spot.

The place had a nice vibe, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, MRB Bar & Kitchen is a great spot for tasty food and drinks in New Orleans.

Been coming to New Orleans for 20 years and this dive bar, if you want to call it that, was probably in the top five meals I have eaten in this city. I had the char-broiled oysters and the Crawfish Mac and cheese. Excellent!!

Chill atmosphere. Everybody who works there was super friendly and they really seem to like their job. Don't miss this place.

We started at the front and ordered “the green drink” (frozen sweet drink) we were warned it was strong and that was no lie! Delicious. We then went to the back and ordered wings, chicken fried alligator sandwich and catfish sandwich. All of it was absolutely fantastic! Perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked!!

Another spot you will find more locals than tourists. The oyster man is back 7 days a week instead of only Mondays. And oysters you can get !!! 12 oysters for under $20- where else can you get that. The beer selection is vast ( big local section, IPA, Sours, etc) and they also feature live jazz most nights. The staff is jot just friendly but funny. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Best oysters ever!!! You really can’t go wrong with anything you order here. It’s all so good. The courtyard is a favorite of ours and we love to catch NFL games here as well.

Loved the food and the atmosphere. We have been twice and this was the 1st time we tried their food. We like to find the local places and this place did not disappoint. We had the gumbo, Collard greens and Crawfish Mac and Cheese. I will 100% be coming back for the collard greens and Crawfish Mac and Cheese. They were probably the best I’ve ever had. Drinks were cold and tasty. Highly recommend this place. But beware, it is 21 and up only.

The Crawfish mac & cheese is out of this world. Oliver and the staff are more then friendly and welcoming. We felt like family. If you have a chance don't miss MRB.
