Recently ordered several dishes catered from here for my dad's celebration of life service. The owner was very helpful & accommodating. He was honest with us when we almost over-ordered for the amount of people we were expecting. His suggestions were all on point. We had plenty of food. The prices were VERY reasonable and service was great. Everything was set up & taken care up by the time guests arrived at the hall. Food was hot, fresh & incredibly tasty. Many guests commented on how great the food was. My personal favorites were the sausage/peppers/onions & broccoli/chicken/ziti dishes. We were overall highly satisfied and would use them again and recommend too.

I ordered 3 trays of food from Salem Food Market the day before a family luncheon, the antipasto salad, the stuffed shells, and the chicken parm. I asked to pick up at 11:30 and the food was ready early, my extended family (all Italian heritage and great Italian cooks in their own right) raved about the food. The shells were perfectly cooked, the cheese fluffy and light, the chicken flavorful, the bread tasty and airy. Our meal was so satisfying. I also got dessert which was delectable—chocolate caramel cake, blackberry cheesecake and carrot cake. More raves from a family of foodies! Get yourself to Salem Food Market today!!

Excellent food & service. They also serve at the West Roxbury Parkway Little League complex. Prices are great and the food is really tasty. Employees are friendly too. I'd recommend & look forward to trying more menu items (big menu with lots things that sound appetizing.)

Every sandwich I've gotten here has been good.

Every time I order from here I know my food will be fresh. The steak tips are great and plentiful and the steak tips and chicken tips are fantastic. My kids love to go for the after dinner candy selection as well. Freddy the owner always has daily specials and everything from the deli is fantastic especially the anti pasto!! Quick and Easy and never disappointed

They have the best sandwiches in 50 Square miles! Courteous staff and the place is spotless. I go there at least 8 times in a month maybe more?

This place is phenomenal. I've ordered a number of different things from here and it always tastes great. Whether it's a caesar wrap, panini, pasta it's all top fresh quality and most importantly there's consistently great service. Fred the owner and Brittani at the counter are always friendly and courteous. Not to mention the TVs inside are awesome. Great lunch spot I highly recommend

Best subs around. If your a steak and cheese fan they got the best ,it's called the imperial and it's loaded. Has sweet Italian sausage in it as well. And the homemade dishes they make from time to time are delicious as well. Friendly staff and service with a smile. I highly recommend

Salem food is awesome. Staff is great. I’ve had them do catering for fundraiser events and the food is always great! Can’t go wrong for going in for lunch as well, always satisfied with my meal. Freddy runs a great business and takes care of our veterans!

Salem Food Market is great! We order from there at work at least once a day in every different department. I have know the owner a long time and he has a big heart and generous. He doesn't need to "beg" for good reviews because they are simply FACTS. Place is immaculate, staff amazing and food is delish. Try the meatballs--- you won't be disappointed!

First and foremost, the food is amazing, one of the best Italian subs I've ever had. I then did a order for a luncheon at work and not only was the food amazing, Freddy made sure that it was to my work in downtown Boston on time and he had everything we needed down to extra pickles for our sandwiches. The brownies were STILL WARM. Everything was delicious and he was amazingly professional and really well priced. If you're looking for lunch for yourself or for catering Salem Food Market is the place to go!

I frequent Salem Market and have never been disappointed. Aracini’s are the best you will get outside of the North end. The antipasto salad is always fresh and seasoning in the dressing perfect. Not only is the food excellent but the staff has always been friendly to interact with.

Been to countless events that were catered by Salem Food Mart and never left hungry! The food is fresh, tasty, and plentiful. You can tell how much care is involved in the preparation, and everything has that awesome home-cooked feel. Perfect choice for any gathering no matter the size or occasion.

Always delicious and fresh. A local “can’t miss” for lunch and dinner takeout. Subs and Italian plates are great! And they give back to the community. Great establishment.

Freddy is the best!! Amazing take out every time. The salads are my favorite. We have also used Salem Food Market for several events for our nonprofit organization. Everyone always compliments the food and his prices are very reasonable. Great food and better customer service.

Salem Food market catered our event at the Postal Service. They had one day's notice because of a glitch. Freddie shopped, prepared, packaged and had delivery to us at 7:30 AM next day. His delivery driver arrived early,set up the whole tables of food with a beautiful presentation for 125 people without one glitch. The food was fresh, the bread was delicious and soft. The antipasto and salads so abundant they fed the crew through all shifts with more left over for the next day. He provided drinks and all the condiments,silverware as well as extra salad dressing.He left nothing out but executed this task, at the last moment, like a well oiled machine.
Salem Food has exactly that "Great Food", as well as a dedicated owner alongside hard working employees who are willing to go the extra mile for their patrons. The owner is a veteran who gives back ten fold providing free meals to veterans on Tuesdays. Unbelievable prices for quality home cooked meals (He has the original owner and cook still cooking her old italian favorites every morning. They feature a Fitness Menu created to meet their local customer's needs and the establishment is immaculate. This is a no brainer when choosing Salem Food for your next meal or event.
