Canal Park Brewing Company

We were able to get a table right away on a busy holiday weekend. Our server was attentive and helpful. I've been to CPB several times and have mostly positive experience. The food has always been good and the service good. Getting a table can be challenging.

They have a delicious NA beer stout that's akin to Guinness 0 but much sweeter and a bit lighter. No foam like the Guinness though.

The French fries are amazing. I was also pleasantly surprised by the homemade tartar sauce. I could've drank it with a straw, it was that tasty!!

I recently stopped here for lunch and a brew with my wife and another family member. It was busy but we were able to get a table within a few minutes. The service was great and the food was very good and well worth the cost. I tried one of their craft beers and it was outstanding. We plan to return during warmer weather and enjoy the outdoors patio that has a real good view of Lake Superior. The location is great because it is in Duluth's Canal Park district which is full of shops, eateries, etc. I highly recommend this business.

Parking was a little difficult to find, but once we did...this is a great place to eat and drink. We were a group of 5, no wait to be seated on a Monday evening around 6 pm. The beers were good, a great selection, my favorite was the Night Trekker. Had a delicious bloody Mary as well. The putine was so delicious, we all shared it as an appitizer, but I could have eaten it myself, it was that good. We got an assortment of dishes and everyone enjoyed the food and the alcohol. It was trivia night in the bar and we sort of played along. A great place to spend a couple of hours.

Good portion sizes and the staff is crazy quick. They are differently trained than anywhere else because this is the fastest service I’ve received almost anywhere. Perfect late dinner spot with a very well rounded menu that is inclusive for allergen sensitivity. I attached photos of the beef nachos, cheese soup, and the fish blt.

This place was a very relaxing experience. Great sandwich and atmosphere made our visit fantastic. Friendly and warm staff, along with the fast accurate service made it perfect. Great place for all ages. Even though it was very busy and fast paced, it was very cozy and still had relaxing conversations at our table. If you're a craft beer lover, and even if you're not one like me, you'll still feel right at home. I didn't count how many crafts they had, but they a lot lol them. We will definitely be making our way back to Duluth for many years to come because of this place and the whole area of canal park itself.

4.75 rating. The food was better than expected. Service was awesome. Beer was good, and the atmosphere was great. We did an order to go but had a couple of drinks at the bar. Keep up the great job!

Overall we had a great experience. However due to no one’s fault, the co2 tanks were down. We couldn’t order ANY BEER. I was slightly heart broken but can’t hold that against them.

The food was pretty good. The Brussel sprouts and fried cheese curds were AMAZING. The Birria tacos were good but nothing great. They lacked cheese and the traditional Birria flavor. The portion was also small considering the cost. Aside from that there was plenty to choose from and everyone seemed to join their food.

(Almost forgot to mention how awesome the fries were!)

Nice patio, warm fire to sit by. Very dog friendly patio. The beers were delicious! The god we had (Brussel Sprout & spicy chicken wrap) were both really good! Will definitely be returning!

What a great location, clean, good food and great beer! Canal Park is a very fun area and Canal Park Brewery was a very nice place to have food and a few beers over looking Lake Superior and the boardwalk! Fun fire pits to sit around outside and enjoy the evening!

Stopped in for a quick meal with my family. The service and atmosphere were great. My kids both enjoyed their burgers and fries; my wife had the wild rice bowl and she loved it; my sweet and spicy chicken wrap was super tasty. Beer was top notch too, I especially liked the porter.

Excellent spot but I have a suggestion :)
We got the mac and cheese, beer cheese soup, fig/bacon burger and the cheese curds which all had such complex flavours with homemade sauces. You could taste that the burgers were fresh and not frozen patties! Servers and kitchen staff are very well managed or just work really well as a team- quick and efficient service. This restaurant is located on the waterfront, which if you’ve walked the waterfront you’ve heard or seen many songbirds and shorebirds. However, while we were eating dinner, a bird flew right into the large windows of the restaurant that face the bay. This is extremely concerning for this towns bird community and biodiversity. I wonder if the owner may look into getting anti collision bird decals for the outside of the window to deter birds. Seeing as one of your beers is named after cute little nuthatches (nut hatchet brown), I hope you have an appreciation of birds as I do and may take my suggestion to heart.

Great place to eat right by the Canal. The food and beverages are very delicious. Adult beverages are a bit pricey for the small sizes however the drinks are tasty. If you’re looking for good quality service, go during the school days right before or after the lunch rush; stress free environment. You can find free parking during this time of the day.

WOW!!!! Yessss this place was great after I walked down the lake walk and pondered my life as I gazed over the beautiful lake superior I stumbled across this fine brewery, As I walked up to the bar I was welcomed by this vary nice lady named Vienna, she made a grate Arnold Palmer tee for me and as I was siting at the bar I met this nice fellow by the name of Jonas! And he began to tell me about his VRARE kingpin snowboard he just bought and told me they were made in two harbors back in the 90s!!! Ya learn some new everyday!!! Then he bummed me a cigarette 🚬 and as we smoked it he showed me his new Osiris D3s he just got and they looked great he was a nice guy!! So yeah anyways yeah i just ended up eating the sauces they had with a fork 🍴 so many different flavors I have never heard of or tried before,I love sauces!!! Stopped here for dinner and we’re totally pleased with our entire experience! Beverages,Burger, Chicken wrap, Wild Rice Soup and dessert were well worth it. Service was enjoyable and atmosphere was pleasant! We will definitely make this our ‘go to’ place for our next visit to Duluth… Thank You❣❣

Very busy place! They don’t accept reservations, so you’ll just have to wait to be seated. They told us a 25min wait, but we were seated within 5 min. Burgers were amazing! And so we’re drinks, loved all the beer options they had! Waitress was very friendly!

I’ve eaten here three times in the past week, have gotten a different food item each time, and a different waitress each time, and every time was phenomenal. Highly recommend the buffalo mac and cheese, and the burgers!! So amazing

We loved everything about Canal Park Brewing Company. They have great beer and mixed drinks as well as wonderful appetizers. The food looked very good as it went by us on the way to the other people’s tables. We had appetizers that were out of this world. For a time we sat around the fire pit outside, drinking beer waiting for our table. Great atmosphere all around. We liked it so much that we came back the next night.

One of the best restaurants in the canal area. Always consistent with a really good service. Their beer choices exist for very wide range of different tastes. I enjoy mango habanero burger even it was a little bit over cooked. That’s why I would recommend to have a short conversation with your waiter about how you want them to cook your burger 🍔.

Great place to grab a craft beer! The food was delicious. We waited quite a while before our server even noticed us. But the beer was great! I had cheese curds and sooooo good!!!
