Pier B Resort Hotel

We’ve dined at Pier B’s Silos restaurant several times, but never stayed at the hotel. We’ve tried, but it can be difficult to find an available room. A last minute trip in February gave us the a chance to try the popular hotel. We booked a King Room facing the harbor. The room was stylish and comfortable and the view was spectacular. Our schedule allowed for a visit to the bar, dinner in the restaurant, and breakfast the next morning. Whoever does the hiring at Pier B is a genius, the staff top notch.

I've been coming to duluth for 15 years now for vacation. I've tried a lot of the hotels around canal Park and downtown. I personally think this is the best hotel I've been to. The building is always clean and always well maintained. The staff are the friendliest always. The beds in the rooms are very comfy and the bedding is very nice for a hotel. I personally always get the king mini suite because I love the views and my wife loves the giant tub.
The attached silos restaurant has a great bar and delicious food.

I’ve been coming here for years and it is a very nice place to stay. Very well located and facilities are outstanding. The only down side now is the Silos restaurant personnel. Very rude. They think they are doing you a favor. The food is great but not with the current employees. Just something to be aware . February 2024

Best hotel in town! Love the interior, rooms were clean and minimalistic. Very good restaurant with the best food in town, that’s for sure, martinis are great too. Near by there’s a sauna with polar plunge, super cool thing to do. Cnal park is 2 minutes driving (that’s the place to go in Duluth)

Treated great upon arrival. We were surprised to learn they offer free shuttle service anywhere within 5 miles of the hotel. We took advantage of this! We were picked up promptly after calling each way. The beds were probably the most comfortable we've slept in a hotel.
The shuttle service will have us back again!

Loved the outdoor hot tub, the view, and the sauna that was next door (separate from hotel). Great front desk service. NOT located in Canal Park however. It is not far, but if you want to walk to Canal Park shops/ restaurants it is a long walk.

Really enjoyed the stay here.

Only negative- The bathroom set up is egregious if you have a large family. No shower curtain (half wall?), toilet looks right into the shower. Can’t take a dump and have someone shower at the same time unless ya’ll are cool with seeing each other naked. Much prefer a separate sink/shower/toilet.

The staff was amazing, attentive, and welcoming. We appreciated the hotel shuttle drivers. They were charismatic and professional. We love this hotel!! Our room had an exquisite view. Absolutely...... gorgeous!

Booked last minute and it was a very quality room, meal, and experience. Awesome views. Will book again.

Greatest beds I have ever slept in. If I could find a way to get this mattress into the elevator and into my car, I would. I won't because it's against the law, but staying here will make you want to think like me. This location is awesome. I love the view, the outdoor patio, and the blankets they provide to sit outside in case you get cold. Staff are awesome. Parking is great. You can walk to Canal Park. Rooms are sweet! Love this place. Makes you want to be a criminal.

Great experience and the Pier B Hotel. Staff was very kind and professional. Room was comfortable and quiet with great view of the lift bridge and canal.

Spent 4 days at Pier B and it's certainly my favorite place to stay in 30 years of staying in Duluth area. Dog friendly, kid friendly, walking distance to all kinds of things, and the views are just epic. We watched the lift bridge with ships passing through for days from our patio.

Great views of arial lift bridge most rooms, Duluth rates high now, Fall 2023, Pier B is not an exception. Fun place, food, drinks, fire pits, smores. We liked it. Small to medium dogs welcome.

Everything about this hotel is priceless. Somebody seriously came to work that day when they thought odmf this hotel. They really took on the principle of keep it simple stupid. Takes you away ! You don't feel like you are in Minnesota it is a fairyland! Thank you so much!!! We will be back as many times as we can!!!❤❤❤

My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay! We got engaged over the weekend and the staff (particularly Cassius) did a fantastic job to make us feel special!

The rooms were great! The amenities even better! Silos is also a great restaurant! 10/10 had an amazing time this weekend with Pier B!

Rooms are very nice, but the view, and the amenities are what truly take this place over the top. Located close enough to downtown Duluth to walk to if you wish, but far enough away to be out of the majority of traffic. Would highly recommend, and this will be the place I choose to stay at from here on out!

It was a fun place to stay. They have a lot of things to do or rent at the hotel but unfortunately it was raining during our stay so we couldn't use them but the outdoor hot tub was great when it was raining. We also enjoyed the ability to walk to canal park from the hotel as well. I would recommend a stay at this hotel.

I have been wanting to stay here for a long time because I was super excited about the out door Hot Tub! We had our dinner at the Silos Restaurant then stopped by to check out the hot tub and luckily no one was in it! We ran up to the room to change and went back down. The hot tub is huge! It is surrounded by tall glass walls and is gated with a code. We hopped in and due to the high winds, found the perfect spots so our faces didn’t freeze in the sub zero temp! It was just so fun. Other couples ended up joining and we had some fun conversations. Ended up spending about 2 hours in there! And getting out to go back in wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be! The door to the regular pool was only a few steps away. Definitely a must try thing to do in Duluth in the winter!!!
