Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

This place is a freaking amazing place to go with the boys. Amazing food, good happy hour specials, and awesome staff.

When we first walked in, it smelt a bit like a public pool from chlorine or something, but we quickly became "nose blind" to it. The variety of drinks they have is honestly astounding, and much appreciated. The food is filling and oh-so flavorful. I had pizza & wings, and it was all great. The soccer and hockey tables they have are a great way to spend your time while the food cooks. The bathroom is your classic gross, bar bathroom.

Overall, great atmosphere, amazing food and a lot of drink variety. I would 100% recommend coming here if you are hanging out in canal park.

Stopped here on a Friday evening after driving all day, nice place. Have a large variety of things on the menu. Reminds me of a sports bar, but on a larger scale. Somewhat noisy due to people all cheering on their favorite teams on the many TV's placed around on the walls. If you're looking for a quiet cozy place, this is not it. Waitress was helpful & the pizza we ordered was very good. Another spot to put on our places to go when come back to the area in the future.

Came here one night for some late drinks and pizza. Had the supreme and the buffalo chicken. The food was fantastic.

The ambience of this place was odd, it was somewhat run down looking inside, smelled like cleaner ( possibly from a good cleaning after a rowdy crowd the night before), and our table was slightly sticky.
But our server was excellent, the salads were fresh, the dressings were flavorful, and the Chicago deep dish, which I generally dislike, was one of the best pizzas I've ever had (And I live in an area with some of the best pizzerias in the country).
I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but thus one was excellent.
It was relatively inexpensive as well, which was a nice surprise.

We came in at 1pm on a Saturday. Seated immediately. We came for a salad. After searching for Salads I found Old Chicago to be the best choice for options and price. The Old Chicago Chopped salad was AHHHHMAZING. Chicken and bacon with delicious funky blu cheese crumbles. They make their creamy herb dressing & their Blu cheese dressing in house and I highly recommend BOTH!! Perfect lunch today!

Amazing Pizza's. Must Try thier "Farmer's Daughter" pizza in Thin Crust. I felt as if I ordered from an Artisan Pizza place. Good food at good price. Also have vegetarian options. Will definitely come back here for their "Farmer's Daughter" pizza 🍕

What a wonderful experience we had our server was a 12 out of 10. Extremely knowledgeable about the menu, he pointed out things like (we had a party of eight coming )and you pre-ordered some appetizers and he told us about the amounts and sizes so that we could order the appropriate number of apps.

Wonderful staff good atmosphere. Thought it was high in price, bought 3 large for our table let's say 3 days later and we still have some left. Man it's good.

Enjoyed a few good apps and a few brews. Scottie was a great bartender.

Loved the waitress review of the California chicken sandwich and had it without tomatoes. The Avocado was really good and added to the grilled chicken. The kid's spaghetti had a little kick to it and my daughter didn't eat much of it but loved the Strawberries and yogurt.

Great place! Even though they forgot to hold off on the green olives still was a great pizza. Big selection of beer. Definitely worth a stop.

Too cold for me inside but, delicious thin crust pizza. Great tap list, sit and the bar and you won’t be disappointed! Shiver me timbers!

We went on a Wednesday night. Not really busy. There was a new cook so food took a little longer.

The food was great, had a little misshap at the end with the bills but it got all taken care off, definitely gonna try the pizza next time I go.
I got the hangover burger and artichoke dip

Big, fun sports bar. Tons of TVs, fantastic service (incredibly attentive to drinks), and really delicious pizza. Toppings were fresh & flavorful. My partner enjoyed his side salad (stated the honey mustard dressing was excellent) but the blue cheese dressing was not to my liking. Bustling downtown area of Duluth on a gorgeous summer Saturday evening. What a treat!

Happy Hour from 3-6pm is the perfect time to go to Old Chicago. I love the Sicilian Pepperoni Rolls along with the Buffalo Chicken Rolls.

Food was great, got a Tucson Pizza & our server Makyia was awesome!

My husband and I ordered salad & wings and we both agreed that the food was delicious! Salads were very fresh and wings were cooked perfectly.

My family and I visit Duluth's Old Chicago nearly once a week. It's turned into our go-to Friday evening place. We especially love it because we each can find something on the menu we enjoy, plus the beer selection is great. My husband and I tried the Italian Grinder pizza last visit and it was delicious! For a couple, a family or 5 or a large group, I'd recommend Old Chicago. The staff and the food are both excellent!
