The staff here is chill and friendly, and I didn’t feel like making any decisions so the bartender made them all for me. It was perfect.

The fries and chips are great and the deep fried burger is interesting. It had a nice little kick to it. Definitely worth checking out.

We had dinner here for our anniversary. We ended up eating too big of a lunch so at Pickwick we just ordered sandwiches. My husband chose the Superior Street dip with onion rings, and my choice was the charcoal grilled burger with caesar salad. Everything was excellent. Our server Julie was great, we didn't see her stop running around all the tables the whole time. Did didn't take very long to arrive either. I asked for a table by the window when I made the reservation. We were given what I asked but unfortunately I forgot how early it gets dark so we couldn't see the lake at all, oh well! We'd definitely come back here. We would like to try the steaks and sit in the next room over which looked much more cozy than the room we were in with the faded murals.

20+ years ago I visited the place for the first time. I was impressed then, and had another (my 3rd) good experience. I don’t get to this area often enough to try it more, but when I’m around, it’s in my list. This place opened in 1888 (135 years ago as of 2023 for those not wanting to do the math), and it’s been in its current location since 1914 (109 years ago as of 2023 for those not wanting to do the math). That’s an incredible amount of time in the same location.

If you’re willing to wait, or get lucky, there are some tables right on the back end that are on the water, and a lot of glass to look through. It’s a very beautiful building and beautiful view to go with it. Any spot in here will be a nice one, but the glass view of the Great Lake is frosting on the cake.

Service has always been good and so has the cleanliness been. It may be an old building, but they have people who know how to cook and who know how to treat the guests.

This place will always be on my list of places to return to. Good meal and good service. Give it a try if you’re in the area.

We have been going to Pickwick the last few years for my birthday, and we just love it! Everything is just wonderful. We started with an app order of onion rings. I got the porkchops & onion rings, and my wife got the tenderloin tidbits & mashed potatoes. You also get salad, vegetables & bread.

Another amazing restaurant with another amazing view. Trust me.. ask if they have a view available!
The large order of onion rings is HUGE.. even for 2 people. The jalapeno burger poppers were an absolute delight. My burger was good.. but that's it, nothing to write home about.
You definitely get plenty of food for the higher price ticket, so you shouldn't leave hungry!

Enjoyed happy hour (pub only, 3-5) on an early winter evening. Great deals on draft beers ($4/pint or less) and discounts on appetizers including excellent smoked fish platter and some of the best onion rings around.

The food was very good and our server was excellent! Loved the smoked fish app we got and my sister’s caramel apple martini was delicious! A tad loud and felt a little like we needed to yell to hear each other but we were seated in the bar area so it wasn’t completely unexpected! Would come back 🙂

Hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Must try spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer! Ribs and Gouda mashed were also amazing! Cool atmosphere, great views of the lake. Top notch service. Highly recommend!!!

We accidentally found this place driving around with hungry kids in Duluth. I am so glad we did! The atmosphere and food were wonderful. Great view of the lake in a gorgeous historic building. The food was wonderful. The burgers, onion rings, and fries were so good. Even food from the kids menu was delicious and not prepackaged.

Came here on vacation from Kansas. Love to have local cuisine when we travel. The walleye sandwich was excellent. Claire was our waitress. She is a doll, and super friendly. Answered all of our questions and even though it was busy for lunch she handled it with a contagious smile. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. Oh, and the onion rings are amazing! Thank you.

Thoroughly enjoyed the walleye with wasabi tartar, while you soak in the old craftsman woodwork and watch the taconite freighters off of the distance.

Pickwick is absolutely amazing!!! The customer service was excellent! I had asked them to reserve a table in front of their gorgeous fire to help celebrate our friends engagement and they saved the spot for us.

The food was phenomenal! The smoked white fish, and sausage and cheese plate we're the best apps I've had so far in Duluth. If you love meat than do yourself a favor and get the rib eye...cooked to perfection.

Second time in two years my family has stopped here on the way back from our North shore trip. Our drinks were wonderful and our food was fantastic. Walleye fingers were tasty, Ruben was great but the real jewel was the homemade jalapeno poppers and the stuffed mushrooms. The poppers might be too spicy for some Minnesotans but just right for my family!

This place serves some very delicious food! I really liked their service and the outside Patio seating arrangement they have. The menu has a range of options for meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans!
I would highly recommend trying their onion rings, pastas and the mind blowing deserts.
The place also has parking and a beautiful view of Lake Superior. A very good place for family, friends and dates. The prices are fair and the places can get really busy at times, so having a reservation helps a lot!

Wonderful lunch experience with a view of the lake. Great service and wonderful food. We loved the smoked whitefish appetizer with hard-boiled egg, capers, red onion and crackers.

Absolutely delicious and fresh food. 5/5 on the tenderloin tidbits appetizer & fresh berry salad (added tenderloins). The restaurant itself is beautiful, historic & gives great tribute to its history. The view is breathtaking -especially during sunset.

Our server - Sarah was excellent. It is also worth noting that this restaurant is kid friendly, I was able to easily navigate my stroller through and there was a nice changing table in bathroom. Highly recommend making this a go-to stop in Duluth!

Great service, great food. The red velvet cake isn't traditional, but the chocolate cookies were AMAZING. ask for a plate of cookies

Don't confuse the oak-lined rooms and ancient murals with a place for your grandparents. The vibe is casual and the service is the expert level you expect from and established place. Good food at supper club prices, making it an excellent spot for a celebration.
