Hampton Inn by Hilton Duluth Canal Park

My family of 4 had a great stay. The hotel was well located, with a beautiful view of Lake Superior. The property was fresh, clean and comfortable. The staff were all welcoming and accommodating. We had asked in advance for a vegan breakfast option, and they provided us with soy milk. The pool and hot tub were clean and warm. The snacks available for purchase were fairly priced.

Stay here for Bentleyville time right after thanksgiving. It was a last minute idea to book a room. So I didn’t get complaint much. Clean and quiet even with being by the pool and housekeeping/laundry room. Friendly staff.

Nice location for visiting Duluth. All the staff very friendly. The breakfast people did a great job. Better than average breakfast for hotels in this price range. My wife loved the pool. Thank you!

Hampton Inn at Canal Park was the perfect getaway for my family. The staff was so friendly and made us laugh, everyone was easy to work with, kind, and helpful! The views of Superior from our room were stunning and the room was clean and comfortable. My toddler and I loved playing in the pool, it was clean and spacious! The cherry on top was the delicious breakfast in the morning, best continental breakfast I've had in a while! Thanks for having us!

We just had a quick overnight stay. The room was lovely, clean and well stocked. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and there was plenty of coffee available at all times (VERY important!)
We look forward to returning and staying longer.

This is our go-to hotel in Duluth. Rooms are always clean, staff is friendly, and breakfast is great in the morning. Pet Friendly too! Highly recommended.

Lovely Hampton Inn. Great views over the south end of lake Superior. Really good location if you are doing things in the area or as a way point to/from Isle Royale National Park.
We stayed here one night on the way from Isle Royale. Rooms are really nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good and there were all the usual features such as pool and gym. Also walking distance to restaurants and shops.
If you are up for a walk, you can go straight out on the the bank of the lake and walk along the path for miles.
Would certainly recommend this one.

A wonderful Hotel right on Canal Park! We arrived early with no place to park in the area. It was extremely busy that day. So we decided to see if our room was ready ahead of time and they accommodated us and checked us in 2 1/2 hours earlier than the check in time. The front desk people were so friendly, nice and understanding and went out of their way for us. We will definitely be staying there again. Very clean rooms, close to all the shops and restaurants, and complimentary breakfast. Love this Hotel and you will too! Enjoy your stay!

Great hotel for the money. Fantastic location. Rooms are nice and clean. Grounds are well-maintained. Views of the lake are spectacular. Breakfast is very good. Even the indoor pool is solid. Also, lots of parking and plenty of nearby shops and restaurants.

I love Hilton brand hotels. Haven't found a bad one yet. The view here is amazing. Its right on the boardwalk making it perfect for an evening stroll or a morning run.

Stayed only one night, but overall, I really enjoyed my stay. In a good area, room had a really great view of Lake Supiror, made for really nice pictures. Clean and comfortable, the only draw back was the bed, a bit on the hard side but it was good for one night. The service was very friendly. The continental breakfast was top-notch.

Great location, lovely view of the lake, and easy walk to the DECC and Canal Park. Coffee and tea available all day. Good breakfast, especially the flavored waffles.

Loved being able to go outside and see the lake. The rooms were perfectly clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful!

Very nice place to stay . Close to canal park . Pool is open till midnight and dogs are allowed . Also Duane in the kitchen is super helpful and you can tell he loves his job and wants people happy for the complimentary breakfast !

Stayed this past weekend and it was amazing. The gentleman at the front desk was super nice, sorry I did not get his name. However my daughter went down to breakfast and doesn't like bacon and the breakfast attendant, Duane, was kind enough to make her some sausage that she likes. That made her entire stay. Thank you

Nice hotel in the midst of canal park.
Great location, lots of food options very close. Easy access to the lake walk. Pet friendly with a fee. Older construction so it's not as quiet as a newer building might be but well taken care of and nicely appointed, overall excellent place that we'll return to.

Such a great experience. The staff were so kind and accommodating. The man on staff cleaning the common areas did a great job. Our room was clean and the view was beautiful. The dining area also had a lovely view of the water.

This hotel has the BEST staff I have ever experienced. If you want to feel special and appreciated as a customer this is YOUR hotel. They are by far the most amazing group of people I have experienced no mater how expensive or highly rated the hotel was, this is the best.

A great stay. Room was clean and comfortable and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the spa and pool. Complimentary breakfast was a little better than average. Hot coffee and other hot drinks were available at no cost during the afternoon and evening. Good location to the lake and Christmas light display.

Loved the view and location. Breakfast staff were pleasant and visited with us on our sightseeing plans for the day, even suggesting places to see. We tried out the contactless check in. Loved it! Getting to pick your room ahead of time is really cool and the phone app to open the doors worked perfectly.
