Residence Inn by Marriott Duluth

VERY nice, modern rooms. Everywhere I went in the hotel was clean and well kept.
All staff were friendly.
Pool area was very nice. Hot tub was excellent. There is a shower on the wall to rinse off chlorine. We wished that there was a bathroom included in pool area though.

We really enjoyed our stay here as a family of 5. We all slept well, it was clean, nice pool area, good breakfast food during the buffet and friendly staff!

I had a fantastic stay! The rooms were spacious, breakfast was better than most hotels, and I loved that they had a fire pit for guest to use at night. It was a little far from the downtown area, but if you don’t mind driving a few minutes, then it should be fine.

Side note- I know it’s probably not a big deal for some, but I thought it was so exciting that they served Jimmy Dean sandwiches for breakfast.

This hotel I recommend, such a nice place ,staff are very kind family and I stayed 2 nights we loved our stay.......5 stars easy....

Other than bring nestled away from the shoreline, this hotel is a great find! The staff is friendly. Excellent continental breakfast. Clean rooms. Having the kitchenette was the best. We really loved having a full sized fridge and dishwasher!
You are close to cub foods, target, and even costco is nearby.
I really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

I had a nice stay here. My room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The full kitchen was nice. The shower had good water pressure and got hot. Staff didn’t read my room preference notes so they put me on a higher floor even though I had a dog, but they quickly fixed that. My only other complaint would be that they don’t maintain the walkways in winter, so the back walkway is icy and back entrance floor is slippery. I told them and they just shrugged it off and said they knew. Other than that, a pretty good stay.

We were very happy with our stay. The hotel is very near a wide variety of restaurants and shopping, and downtown is about 10 minutes away.

I have stayed here several times. It’s conveniently located in an area that is a little more quiet, yet close to many amenities.

Staff was super friendly & helpful. Hotel was very clean in the communal areas as well as our room. The hotel was very modern in its interior decoration and I felt like I was staying in a new hotel (not sure if it's actually new or not). The free breakfast was certainly one of the best I've ever had of any hotel brand, especially for Marriott. So happy with our stay here and would definitely love staying here again in the future!

Every visit here is great. The staff are friendly and the rooms lovely. Minutes from restaurants, shopping, and hospitals. There may be prettier places, but this place feels like home.

We booked on hotwire and got a decent price. Everything was clean and they had a decent breakfast spread. They had a nice patio area that had some lounge furniture and a couple grills. We were only here for one night so we didn't really use any of that, but it's a newer hotel so everything still feels clean and fresh and modern. Our room had a kitchenette with a full size fridge, two burner stove and a dishwasher, seating area, sleeping area with bathroom attached. It was small but more than enough space for two people. We enjoyed an early breakfast and a dip in the hot tub before we left in the morning. I would stay here again.

We have traveled many places. This hotel was set up the best for comfort and privacy of a family of 4. For Duluth, this is the suggested hotel. Great location, staff is professional and friendly. Accommodations are available. Thank you for a a relaxing retreat. Honestly wished more hotels would design their suites this way!!

Room is quiet and comfortable. Good selection of TV channels and TV's support major streaming services. Breakfast was simple but well done. Staff are friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Definitely would return.

One of Marriott's best mid priced hotels. Great for long term or a weekend. Full kitchen, comfortable amenities. It's a small thing, but I really like their shower and the water pressure. This location is within short walking distance of great restaurants, and shopping. I've stayed here many times over the years and this time was better than the other times, they must have remodeled. Clean facility. Great staff.

Loved this hotel! Big spacious rooms with a full kitchen. My partner and I were celebrating his birthday, and we had a good time. The hot tub was nice and hot 🔥

Loved this place! So clean and friendly. We had a full kitchen and sitting area/fireplace. It's 10 minutes off the beaten path but it's quiet and convenient with all your essential needs close by. Plus can't beat the prices compared to the less nicer hotels right on the lake. As long as you have a way to get down to the lake front I totally recommend this hotel.

We had come into town staying at a different hotel in Duluth for a funeral. The place we started was not a great experience the first night and we decided to book here instead. Carrie(sp?) was so accommodating and helpful. She truly helped make our stressful situation a non issue. The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable but Carrie was truly the highlight of our stay.

Very nice large, clean modern suites for a great price. Also had a great free dinner last night (unexpected) as well as a wonderful breakfast. It is very nice having a kitchen area/living room while traveling. It is also very close to the mall and some great restaurants. I will return again.

They have beautiful suites with everything you need to prepare meals! Great room layout and wonderful showers. Comfy beds. Really amazing complimentary breakfast, we were going to go out for breakfast, but the selection and quality of the food was too good to pass up! Nice pool area with hot tub (hot tub had A LOT of chlorine, but if you turned the Jets off it was okay!) Service was the best!! Would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend them!! 💖💖💖
