I totally recommend Flour Child Bakery. They made my wedding cake. The cake was beautiful and delicious. Everything was easy and stress free. I highly recommend!

Flour Child Bakery made my wedding cake and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious. They were extremely professional and informative throughout the whole process and delivered our cake for us so we did not have to worry about it dropping. I would definitely recommend them !

I had been emailing with the bakery for a few weeks about our wedding. They always replied promptly (which, when planning a wedding, is a just the best). They even reached out an extra time to see if i had any additional questions.
I visited the baker today because I had a sweet tooth. It's such a cute little location with TONS of goodies to choose from. I ended up purchasing a cheesecake brownie and cranberry scone, and OMG, divine!! This is, hands down, probably one of the best bakeries in Virginia Beach.

Ordered a cake for my wife's birthday and all I can say is good gracious 🤯 I picked it up 3 days ago and here I am still enjoying it like it was freshly baked. The frosting is so smooth and velvety, the cake is fluffy and moist, and as a whole it's super balanced in sweetness. They could have charged me a lot more and it would have still been a value. My sister in law picked up a few treats in store, I tasted the lemon bar and it was heavenly. I'm now a fan for life.

Small place in a small building complex next to a salon, massage parlor and a tap house. But there’s nothing small about the shout out to flower child, tie dye, peace and love hippie days! Love it! Decor is on point. All kinds of cake pops and jumbo (really means jumbo) cupcakes, but 5 get 6th free. There seems to be a good following of patrons. Service is quick though the line was a tad long. I ordered an apple cake to go.
Got home, snapped a picture and…DELICIOUS! The apple cake was moist, had the right amount of apple chunks and whatever secret ingredient. Will definitely come back to try the cake pops and brownie bites.

Everything is so delicious. Have preordered pies on several occasions, rhubarb pie is incredible. Recently stopped by for a small treat and had some of the best cookies. Mix of classics and creative

Flour Child put together a wonderful cake for my mother’s 70th birthday. Ordering was seamless and they really brought my vision to life.

First of all, fantastic service! I ordered a cake for family in Virginia while in Michigan. These ladies were informative, kind, quick, and delivered a delicious treat. I can't wait to return so I can taste their treats for myself.

While everything in that bakery is scrumptious, the farmer’s market cinnamon rolls are simply the best. You can only get them from April to November and so this is my last one until spring!

I got a chocolate cake with mocha frosting and chocolate ganache filling.....it was absolutely delicious. The mocha flavor of the frosting was just right...the Swiss buttercream melts in your mouth and the cake was soo moist. I LOVE chocolate and this cake was the perfect amount of chocolate for all you chocolate lovers out there! Thank you! ❤

Love this nice little local bakery. I especially love the cookie dough cheese cake bars! They are worth the trip alone. The ladies there are very nice and friendly. Only thing I don’t like about going I always leave with far more then I planed… Never been disappointed.

As if I needed more reasons to love this even more than I always do. They created a beautiful strawberry flavored smash cake for daughter’s 1st birthday!! She really enjoyed it, and so did her mom and dad. Thank you so much for the memories! The unicorn cake is from a previous review (October 2020).

My experience with this bakery was delightful from start to finish. I submitted a request online for a custom cake. The follow-up to my request was within a reasonable time. The customer service was pleasant. I was able to order my cake online and pay for my cake over the phone. I love my cake. It was beautiful and delicious.

This is a fantastic place for baked goods.

The cake pops, key lime pie, and carrot cake are the best I've had.

So we sampled pie day! We bought one slice of each and shared among ourselves. Great taste testing! Each pie was absolutely delicious!

We were so impressed with their bakery and after looking over their cases filled with the most fabulous looking items we knew we'd visit again.

It is now my go to bakery for gifts for family, friends, or neighbors to just say hi or thank you. 🧡

My husbands favorite cupcake comes from here! This is now our second year purchasing from Flour Child Bakery and it’s always been the most delicious cupcakes!!

Quaint Virginia Beach Bakery has some amazing Chocolate Drizzled Macaroons among other tasty treats! Prior Wedding Wire Winners for their cakes was an interesting fact to find out, and Jenna (I hope I spelled that correctly) was just as sweet as a flower herself. Love the theme, the treats, the story of mother and daughter, great place to add to your shortlist Va!

We come here on a weekly basis and have several other bakeries in Hampton roads to chose from, so thats saying something. They have the best cookies and cakes. We have also tried an assortment of other delicious treats and have never been disappointed. They have awesome, friendly customer service. Highly recommend!

Flour Child did our wedding cake and we were very happy with it!! Came out exactly how I wanted it (design wise) and was delicious!! The folks at Flour Child answered all my questions in a timely fashion. The also have great cupcakes (Death by Chocolate is out of this world!) The only bad thing is that I'm going to have to stay away so I don't gain a ton! Highly recommend
