Cafeteria is also perfect for grabbing lunch, lots of options to choose from, but Swedish meatball meal is a must-try.
On the way out there is also a food market where you can get a quick bite or some frozen food or shelf-stable snacks to go.

Starts off with plenty of parking, you go in and find the cafeteria first so stop and get some swedish meatballs or they have lots to choose from but that's always a good choice.

Fun to walk around for inspiration both for indoor and outdoor spaces plus items labeled for ease of getting pricing and it writing down to order

Part of our IKEA experience is dining at their food court then, our walk through the maze begins! I love how you can get ideas on organization and home decorating as you go from one showroom to another.

Had a great time last visit. EV chargers are now located right up front. Spent an hour inside and got another 25 miles or so added to the range. Bought nearly everything we came to find.

Pretty easy drive from Richmond. Helpful personel for navigating facility. Easy check-out and enjoyable environment. You truly don't have to walk the entire facility to leave the store. Staff can direct you to exit points and are very willing to assist in locating any inventory item. The plus for me was visiting the store early, on New Year Day, there was time to stroll VA Beach also..😂
Sorry, only beach pics. But love IKEA. Products are truly engineered very well. Self installation is no problem with proper instructions and excellent fitting parts. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

My first time through an actual store and I even got Swedish meatballs at the end.

Store was very clean, floor salespersons were available and friendly. Parking was massive. And I really enjoyed the vignettes they put up to help showcase their products and ideas with customers.

IKEA is a wonderful place to visit. They have a large selection of affordable furniture, storage options, dishwater, kitchen items, bathroom items, bedding, outdoor furniture, appliances, and more! This is also a great place to go if you are looking to kill time for a few hours.

I went there for the first time recently and was blown away! It is WAY cooler than anyone has ever explained to me and I highly recommend it for everyone! They even have free childcare! I’m so excited to go back and utilize that so my husband and I can shop without the kids.

They have everything!! They have every single thing you could need for your home and I love the way they have staged full rooms. It really helps me see where I would use things.

They also have incredibly reasonable prices. Some of theirs prices are shockingly low!

There is also a place to get food and we really enjoyed everything about our dining experience. We were able to feed a family of four for $40. They compost leftover food and recycle. I thought that was really great and made me like shopping their even more!

This is seriously the best place for anything you need for home and makes a great time out for the whole family, or alone or a date night!

Great showrooms and an extensive warehouse section where you can pick up your selection at the end of all the showrooms. Lots of small items downstairs for kitchen and household needs. There is also a restaurant upstairs after the showrooms. Great customer service. The cut throughs are not easy to find if it’s your first time but once you are familiar you can bypass large sections of the showrooms

Always fun to shop at ikea. Love walking around and looking at all the interesting furniture. After writing down all the numbers of the furniture we need I always stop at the cafe for some food, Swedish meatballs are the usual. Sometimes I’ll get the frozen ones to bring home. I also like that they let you pull up to the store to load your car.

Goodness this place is MASSIVE. First time getting the chance to check this place out and there is so much to look at. Came in with the mindset of looking for one thing and left out the door ready to come back for more.

And when you're ringing up your items, ask for employee assistance, if not you will be accused of stealing. I wish I had gotten the name of the staff member who accosted my friend for stealing and forced her to ring up her entire order again..... Just to see she didn't steal anything. If you're going to have self checkout, then find a better way to check customers other than insulting and embarrassing them. And put those $12/hr employees in their place before a customer has to.

Wide variety of furniture there's something for everybody and the best part is it's all interchangeable and customizable got to love that. And who doesn't love no hassle return policy keep up the great work I've assembled many pieces of your furniture

Go here. You'll be amazed at the things you'll find for low prices. Pots and pans for 10$, cheap blankets, entire room furniture and decoration combos for under 1000$.

If you don't come to buy anything, it's still worth going. Take a walk in the show rooms Ikea made, they put all their products together and give you small moc apartments you can walk through. You'll be in love with the atmosphere and products you find here.

This was my first time visiting Ikea and the only store in the new premier outlet that I have gone to. I was also particularly interested in trying the Swedish restaurant. Well, as a newcomer to Ikea, I know they make great quality furniture, but little to my dismay, did I realize they had so much more than just furniture. My shopping experience; I took my time and spent several hours, and actually shopping at Ikea, it can be dangerous. LOL, I mean that in a fun way😊. There are many, many very inexpensive good deals. I mean things even less than a dollar that are very functional, useful, and purposeful. I am a big kitchen person, and so there were many, many deals in the kitchen even low enough in price that I got many extras for gifts. I went there purposely to select a bed, and I did end up finding out that I needed to change the type of bed that I had been in desire for. Along came a bedding assistant, Dreamy" who specialized in that department and she was extremely helpful! While going throughout the store, employees could tell that I was confused and distraught as to where I was and how to get from one point to another. One thing I will say they were always willing to assist, didn't act like it wasn't their job or their position to do so but instead pleasantly offered to direct me or even walk me to the point of destination much to my surprise!! On to the restaurant-well they're big special is Swedish meatballs. I'm not a big meatball girl, but once again, to my amazement, I tried the Swedish meatball not plant-based, and it was very good. Then I was able to try the Lingonberry, which is similar to Cranberry sauce, which I love very delicious. I did not sample any desserts at this time, nor did I take any pictures throughout the entire store. I would say if you're on a lazy day you don't have much to do or if you want to do something different to go and visit the local Norfolk Premier Outlet and the IKEA store it's a great experience!! Bring your shopping bags, but they provide you with big bags. I mind you for only 99 Cents, and you will need it with a cart. It's easier to get around on your own footing, but you may need a cart once you're along the way. I believe the carts are only offered to you in the beginning. I will definitely be returning again and already ordered online again for pickup after my day of in-store shopping, which I probably spent at least three hours, if not more happy shopping!😊

Bought a very nice sturdy couch and chair for under $1,000. The cushions are wonderful. I did not realize you buy the couch & cover separate, so we did and all was under the $1,000. We've received many compliments. We'll go back and see what else they have. Pls excuse glassware (going thru it) on my dining table that my husband made. Merry Christmas

I've only been to IKEA when I was back home normally but I've been coming to this one more often since I've lived down here the past five years. And I will say, I have bought a few things furniture wise particularly, I have bought a kitchen table, a nightstand, and a dresser, and I still have them after three years. They do have a lot of selections and there are a lot of furniture options that are at a fair price. The staff there are very friendly in our eager to help and you are always greeted in a friendly manner every time you go. If anyone is looking to go to IKEA, the Norfolk store is the way to go!

It is always a fun experience looking at the various room set up. You can get great ideas for your home. Some prices are very reasonable. Some prices I'm not sure about...seem a bit pricey for what you are getting, more on the furniture side. Again, go look around. Become inspired for your own home.

I've been hearing about this place for years but this was my first visit there. It was AMAZING!!! I saw so many interesting things and got so many ideas. Prices are great...and the options for variety are limitless. I definitely will be going back.
