The military and veterans weekend discounts really helped a lot. Especially with the Kroger membership. You have to get the Kroger membership to get the good discounts and discount on gas. Helpful employees

A one stop shop, can get most of the items I need including a limited choice of wearing apparel. Great fresh fruit and hot quick meals. Loved the baked goods area. Can find almost everything I need.

Kroger Bakery did an excellent job on my daughters birthday cake. We placed our cake order online (a week in advance), which was very simple with a nice variety of cake types, flavors, and designs. We ordered a Trolls design 1/4 sheet cake with yellow cake and whipped icing. The cake design wasn’t exactly the same design listed online, but I was more than pleased with the outcome. My daughter loved the cake design with the nice toy on top, and the whole family enjoyed the taste of the cake. The yellow cake was moist and airy and the whipped topping was the perfect consistency. Kroger’s Bakery over-exceeded our expectations and I will definitely keep them in mind for our future bakery needs.

I also must comment on the exceptional customer service of the Kroger associates I encountered during my visit; they all had a warm demeanor and truly made me feel like a valued customer. Upon receiving my cake from the bakery, I also needed some birthday balloons. And I was thoroughly impressed by the selection/assortment of balloons; there were mylar balloons for every occasion and latex balloons in every color. I ended up purchasing an air walk unicorn mylar balloon, a Trolls mylar balloon, a number four (4) gold foil mylar balloon, and a few latex balloons in different colors. Any balloons purchased from Kroger are filled for free. And I was very pleased with the care the gentleman took to fill my balloons and the attention to detail in following the instructions provided for proper filling of the mylar balloons. Not only was the associate kind, but he took the time to explain how to use the air walk unicorn balloon. He even provided a garbage bag to place over my other helium balloons to avoid them blowing away outside. I was thoroughly impressed with this Kroger. They went over and beyond to make me a happy customer.

To the bakery lady who made my daughters cake for her 2nd birthday. Thank you! I understand delays happens and the cake was missing it’s decorations, it’s not your fault but you went the extra mile to ensure it was still just as special by getting the doll when you didn’t have to.

I have shopped here for years since it is near work. This location has friendly, helpful folks working here and has a good selection of items. Definitely not one of the Kroger superstores but it doesn't need to be. Fueling station on site as well.

My experience at Kroger was great the staff was super friendly, polite, and helpful. The only thing I had a slight issue with was they were out of a product I was looking for. I'm sure it was restocked the next day so it wasn't a very big deal and I will continue to shop here for the foreseeable future.

A very nice and kind woman works as a supervisor there, Amy Thank You for being so kind to me with finding my 4yr old grandaughter's little bear purse she and lost there, she cried n cried 😢, it was so sad. So I called and talked to Amy,, and she said yes she had it in there list n found and she put my name n number, I sure went there to get it and surprise my 4yr old grandaughter, so the lady that works at this kroger AMY,, on Shore Dr , near little creek,, Thank You for being so kind,, you've made a little 4 yr old girl very happy, Thank You Amy, ,, Gloria R

Produce is always fresh and a great variety in abundance.
Lots of great sales
Staff is very helpful and friendly.
The only thing I'm not real happy about is their deli section .
Meat and cheese are cut too thick even when requesting "slice thin " if you don't ask to see it you might be out of luck
Cheese slices are hard to separate as there is no paper placed between them .
Overall a great place to shop and those fuel points add up quickly

First time coming to this Kroger’s and I will actually return back to this location to grocery shop sometimes. I went in the seafood department when they was closed and a young lady assist me with some nice snow crabs legs. She also told me about the digital coupon that wrong the crabs up for 11.00 lbs. The cashier was also nice as well. She waited for me to download the app so I could get the crabs for at a more discounted price. I felt comfortable in store

This Kroger is awesome!! There are a lot of self-checkout machines and they also have excellent customer service here. All of the cashiers are very helpful and polite. They are amazing!! I will continue shopping here!!

We picked up our order in the middle of TS Ian's rains. David still had outstanding customer service - with a drippy wet smile. And I saw Anna out there wrangling wind blown carts.

Good store, self checkout machines are too sensitive tho.

Great produce, great selection of products

I would like to acknowledge an employee who works at your Shore Drive, Virginia Beach VA location. I came into your store on March 12, 2020 after driving 2 hrs from home to surprise my mother for her birthday. My immediate thoughts about the store was poor due to the conditions and the dark lighting, but I didn't have much time and I needed flowers and a cake for my mother. As I was looking in the floral department for a bouquet, I was approached by "Isabella" who was very pleasant, friendly, and apologetic for the limited number of flowers in the department. She explained that the store was remodeling and due to short staffing, the department hadn't been stocked yet. She proceeded to tell me that she was getting ready to stock and if it was anything I needed, she could find it and put it together for me. I told her I would look around and then come back to give her time to stock her department. When I got back from the bakery, Isabella had put out a few things, however I saw a pre-done bouquet that I saw when I was first there and told her I wanted to purchase that to save time. She immediately said, that bouquet was a few days old and the flowers may not last. I wanted the bouquet for the lilies and it was the only one there. With that being said, Isabella replaced all the roses in the bouquet with fresh ones from her stock and then gave me a discount for the older flowers that were in the arrangement. I couldn't be more pleased with Isabella's customer service. My mother LOVED her arrangement and I have to thank Isabella for making my 2-hour drive worth the trip. Please acknowledge her because she went above and beyond to make the customers visit a pleasant one despite the conditions of the store.

Ok love Kroger in general. The variety is good. The other day in I decided to get sushi
And the sushi clerk was nice and sushi it was delicious.

I had a bad experience from a nearby pharmacy where I waited roughly two weeks for them to never fill my prescription. I switched to this place which not only charged less than half the price for the same thing (even without good RX) but when they noticed how long I've been waiting for my prescription they rushed to make sure I got it that day. They had to call the pharmacy I initially went to to make them transfer something to their system (I'm not sure of the details or what they needed to transfer or request. I know they had to though for legal reasons), they filled my prescription and told me it was ready in like half an hour. They closed in about two hours when I called, but they made sure I got it that day. I guess this place knows the dangers of withdrawal from suddenly not taking prescribed medication. I really wish I went to this place first, and they always make me feel welcomed with their service. This is our regular grocery store that I've shopped at pretty much my entire life, but they seriously went above and beyond with their help and service.

Good produce selection, store is usually always clean. Customer service , from stockers to cashiers up to management is always very kind and helpful. I don't live in this neighborhood anymore but I still go out of the way to use this location for those reasons. Also has the best seafood selection anywhere in town aside from Harris teeter, which is now all one company anyways. Keep up the good work guys!!

Huge store with options in plenty. Very clean restrooms. Good service as well.
