Spirits on Bourbon Street

I really enjoyed this place. I must admit that my standards for review are different on Bourbon Street than, say, The Ritz Carlton. This is Bourbon Street. It is very old, and that adds to a certain charm. Maintenance issues are TOTALLY excused that would be INexcusable at The Ritz. Yet I award both places 5 star.

I bought the Blue Drink with the lights. It was so good that I bought two more to ensure it was worthy of getting 5 stars.

I had some hamburger with jalapeños and some sort of really good cheese sauce. The burger was obviously NOT a corporate beef patty.

So it was an excellent burger?....or was it just the blue drink? I guess that either way... it was a win-win situation for me.

We had a great time, and the server (Becca) you were great. You were so nice.

This place was nice and I would gladly visit again.

Fun little dive, can't speak for the food because I didn't eat here. The service was good. The piano player was awesome, overall fun interactive experience. They have some decent beer on tap think a 20oz bluemoon was around $9.00 they have a courtyard out back, bathrooms were fine. I did go on a Tuesday so given weekends might be swamped because it was crowded on a Tuesday. Definitely worth stopping in and grabbing some drinks.

This place was awesome. Loved the talented band playing. My highlight of New Orleans. Bar food n drinks were good, Happening crowd.

Drinks were great value. Resurrection drink was good & had $10 refills. Live pianist was hilarious & had great crowd interaction. We stayed longer for him. Service was great. They never left our glasses empty.

My favorite bar in all of NOLA not only the French Quarter. Great food. Great drinks. Great people. Great atmosphere. Will be here many more times and every time we're in New Orleans. 10/10 would recommend.

We stopped here on Halloween to try the Ressurection and it was amazing! The atmosphere was a little chaotic but the staff seemed to have their stuff together. Bathroom was pretty clean, all things considered.

This was our first stopping point on Bourbon Street. I know of this place from Bar Rescue and wanted to see if the bar still was around and doing well. Bar was clean and jazz music was heard throughout our visit. I'm not a fan of live music, but this jazz band had it down. They made me question my mind and their entire set was a laundry list of songs that were catchy and likened it to a small concert hall. Servers were professional and attentive. During our visit we ordered the taste of New Orleans since it was a smaller portion of a good majority of the stand-alone entrees. The shrimp etoufee was amazing, red beans and rice was killer and the gumbo was delicious. The drinks were delicious and fun. This was a great place to kick off a night of and I will definitely return for more. Restrooms were clean and well stocked, that's always a plus.

Free water if ya need sober up a lil bit. (Cups. Not bottles)

Sarah played a wonderful piano set. The cooking staff made a fantastic ribeye served by Shannon. Amber the bartender was lovely. It wasn't crowded and they treated me very well. I would definitely come back when in town.

Food holds its own for the Bourbon Street location. Drinks are solid. Bar staff is knowledgeable and greeter was very friendly and efficient. Music acts are familiar and so fun!!

Cool place with a cool vibe! The staff is friendly and fast. It's a piano bar so there's entertainment while you eat and drink. Of course, you've got to get the Resurrection. It's a blueberry concoction with 190 grain alcohol and a Captain Morgan floater.

This is a great bar. I enjoyed it more than some of the other more known bars on Bourbon st. Their signature drink, the Resurrection, is a must try. It’s delicious and served in a kitschy flashing mug that’s a fun souvenir. The Barber Beer is another fantastic drink to try. The food portions are huge and the food is delicious. We tried bacon cheese fries and some fried pickles. The service was great too, which added to the whole experience.

The energy here is great. Dueling pianos and a crowd that is into partying. Kari was our server, and she was awesome. Very friendly, super knowledgeable she made our night great, I'm thankful she was here. We had a great time, and the food was great. All around stellar time here tonight. I highly recommend you stop in here. You cannot fail I'm sure if it. Ask for Kari, she was legit awesome! You will not regret your time here I'm sure of it!

The fried chicken sandwich was huge and the alligator poppers were good

We came in at lunchtime. My fiancé got a shrimp po boy. He loved it. He was excited about getting one in New Orleans and it met his expectations. I got a chicken, bacon ranch sandwich. The chicken was huge. I could have used 2 buns it was so big. The chicken was perfectly cooked, nice and moist. Our waitress was wonderful!! Very friendly and didn't hover. It was a very nice experience and I have chicken leftover for later.

So much fun. Tony Morris made the scene. We had a great time. He made people feel like they were are old friends. If you're on Burbon you have to stop!

Very good!!!! The bartenders were so nice and awesome. The Resurrection Drink is a MUST!! They also have a shot chair that starts at 7P.M. which entails a shot and a spin in the old barber chair. Live music as well.

Didn't try any food, but my husband got the resurrection drink, and I got the barber beer. Both were delicious! The lady bar tending was very sweet and kind.

Visited after my daughter recognized the place from an episode of Bar Rescue. Went back to our hotel room, watched the episode and decided we had to try it out! Great atmosphere, good food, and their signature "Resurrection" drink was quite fun! (I'm not a drinker but I did taste it!) And the live "piano man" Sam was the icing on the cake! All around good time!

They have a new menu and the shrimp nachos are amazing! The piano players make it a great night!
