Caffé Artisan

The staff are so nice and helpful! The location is really nice as well being inside the Painted Tree. The food is amazing! I've had the Tomato Basil Soup w/ Grilled Cheese Sandwich, The Fruit Smoothie, Vanilla Caramel Latte and The Benedictine w/ Egg & Bacon. These are pretty much my go-to's. They are amazing!
If you're out with friends, shopping or looking for a quiet spot to get some work done, I highly recommend Café Artisan. Several different seating options too! Something for everyone, even groups of 6-8 or just by yourself.

Caffé Artisan was fantastic! The young man that helped us at the register was very helpful with the order. My wife and I both got a butterscotch caramel iced coffee and I’d give it an 8/10. I got the turkey and cheese toasted sandwich and I thought it was really good.

My favorite part was the atmosphere. It was very open and inviting, and it was connected to a store. There was also plenty of space to sit. I’ll be coming back to get some work done for sure.

A pleasant surprise. I was not expecting the food to be that good, especially when you walk in and it’s open to the marketplace. But, man was I wrong. The Brielicious Grilled Cheese might be the best grilled cheese I’ve had… ever. Wish it was bigger but it was delicious. House made chips were killer too!

Sandwiches, soups, pies, smoothies, and much more! This newer, artisan food shop is located inside the Painted Tree in Franklin. There is a lot of parking available, plenty of seating with beautifully decorated table tops, and after you eat you can explore the many shops within the Painted Tree.

Franklin's hidden Gem! Greek town has nothing on their lemon chicken soup! The sandwiches are outstanding and the soups are delicious. Owner and staff are friendly and nice! I was supposed to take a picture of my lunch but I was distracted by the delicious scent wafting out of my to go bag, so here is my lunch halfway through ! 😂

Very friendly and fast service. Great atmosphere for catching up with family. Tasty sandwich, bread was delicious. Would definitely eat here again!

I took my Mom for lunch after a little shopping at the Painted Tree. The tomato soup is delicious and so was the panini. Definitely a sweet little lunch spot.

Passing through as return to the Memphis area and found this gem. Small quaint café that has a nice menu, service and ambience. My son truly enjoyed the digital aquarium, reminded him of rainforest café.

I try and eat here every time I'm in Franklin. The food is amazing and you get a LOT for the price. The owners and staff are super friendly. Great atmosphere, as well!! Check it out...you won't be disappointed!!

Do yourself a favor and get the Italian Beef! Fantastic! Chef Jeff puts these bad boys together so well, you'll think you're in Chicago. Awesome staff, helped me put together an order for the team and even helped me to the car with everything. Outstanding!

A business associate recommended having a lunch meeting at Caffé Artisan, and it did not disappoint! The food was excellent, the staff was happy and helpful, and the caramel butterscotch latte was so good I ordered a second cup. The uniqueness of the market was a bonus. I will definitely be back and will recommend Caffé Artisan to friends and colleagues! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

It may take a few minutes to get your food but that’s because it’s homemade and delicious! The soups are amazing and I love their daily quiche. Plus, it makes for a fun day out if you stop at Painted Tree and shop!

Our favorite lunch spot - the food is always so good and our son loves the fish swimming in the “aquarium” tvs. Very chill & laid back; great atmosphere. Brownie cheesecake is great and will be back for more!

Little did I know when I stepped up to the counter at Caffe Artisan and ordered “Mom’s Comfort Combo” that I was going to be served the most amazing grill cheese sandwich that I have ever eaten. It is called “The Ultimate Grilled Cheese” and the adjective was very accurate. It truly was “the ultimate”! It was made with four different types of premium cheeses that were melted together between and on two fresh, yummy slices of grilled bread. One bite and I knew I had a sandwich to remember. The combo also included a cup of soup and a basket of homemade potato chips. I chose the lobster bisque which was a perfect complement to the grill cheese. The well seasoned potato chips topped the whole meal off perfectly. I am confident that the other items on Caffe Artisan’s menu are the same fresh, homemade quality as the food I had and I look forward to returning there for more outstanding meals.

I stumbled into Caffe Artisan one day just browsing around. The place looked very quaint with great character. I ordered the club sandwich combo. Gonna have to be real honest....THIS WAS THE BEST CLUB SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD. Okay. I said it. Go eat here.

This is a MUST visit. First off, the owner and employees go above and beyond. So much that even if this place wasn’t great, I’d still go. The coffee is the best In the area. Made to perfection!! The food is delicious. There is a pesto salad dressing that has become my favorite and I find myself randomly craving it. They make everything fresh. Including the potato chips. Every time I go to Caffé Artisan I like it even more. Please do yourself a favor and visit them.

So I got the Belgian waffles and my wife got the grilled cheese with house chips. We got a number and they brought it to our table.

The Belgian waffles were some of the best I’ve had- though small they filled me. They did not need the syrup so I didn’t use any past the first attempt. Go ahead and get the double for just under $7. I also got a stubborn soda. I tried both the pineapple cream and the orange hibiscus and the orange hibiscus came out on top.

My wife’s ultimate grilled cheese was ranked as good. But she was more impressed with the house chips. Often these are a rank disappointment but these turned out much better than expected.

We will be back, probably this week!

OMG! Amazing place, I was looking for a coffee shop in Franklin and I stumbled upon this place and I'm so happy that I did. The cappuccino with coconut milk was so good, my mother had a blueberry scone and it was delicious. Another great thing about this caffe is that it is surrounded by little booths of gifts, clothing, toys, antiques etc. Definitely coming back very soon.

I wish I could give this place even more stars!!! The tantalizing food and coffee keep us coming back even though we have moved far from this area. The ingredients are fresh and obviously high quality. The owner and employees are so kind and personable. The service is fast, the atmosphere is beautiful and inviting, and it's honestly the best cafe/restaurant in Franklin. Highly recommend! ❤

Loved the Grilled Cheese sandwich. Nothing I had expected. Panini style, large, and cheesey. Broccoli cheddar soup was a perfect side. We also ordered the Veggie Quiche. Well prepared, very tasty.
The menu has a lot of items and variety. Very good sized lunch crowd. I look forward to my next visit. Let's hope Caffe Artisan is around for a long time. Please support this business.
