Dr. Phillip C. Neal, DDS

Have always had a very professional experience here! The staff are very friendly and the dental assistants are very comforting (I have had a long dental history) and they put all my concerns at ease. Prices are reasonable, best I've come across by far. I have referred my family and friends to Dr. Neal.

I have been coming to this office for several years now. I am petrified of going to the dentist but Dr Neal does a fantastic job and Jen the hygienist is the best hygienist I have ever had. I actually won’t see anyone else. If you have dental phobias, this is one of the best places.

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Dr. Neal and his hygienist. I went in to have a cavity filled on a wisdom tooth, but because my wisdom teeth are very small, a root canal would have been required to keep the tooth. So they told me I should just have the tooth pulled. I wasn’t comfortable with this, but Dr. Neal and his hygienist put a great deal of pressure on me to just have the tooth extracted. I was ambivalent about what to do but I couldn’t leave with drilled tooth and they were not supportive of doing the root canal, and they were extremely impatient and rude as they pressured me to just have the tooth pulled. They ended up pulling the tooth without my formal consent and without discussing risks or alternatives. I was asked to sign the paperwork after they pulled the tooth. I know it’s just a wisdom tooth, but I left the office in tears because it felt so disempowering and violating to have a tooth removed without consent.

On a separate occasion, my husband went to have 3 cavities filled. He had terrible tooth pain after that visit so we went back in for a follow up, when they realized that they had completely forgotten to fill one of the teeth they drilled.

The office demonstrated both a lack of professionalism and humanity and well as technical skill. I highly recommend you find a different dentist.

Called on Tuesday and got an appointment for Thursday.
After changing my schedule around and finding alternate child care, I called on Thurday 2 hours prior to my appointment time.

They had no record of the appointment I scheduled just two days prior!!
Zero respect for a person's valuable time!
