This was my first visit to a Fresh Market. It is very nice inside and a lot of fresh produce and nuts. I was pleasantly surprised to see the pricing was less than Jewel. I just bought the same item at Jewel and it was $2.00 more. I thought for sure it would be high priced. I also love that they have a grind your own peanut butter machine. I have not seen one of those for years and yes I bought some.

John in meats in is a pleasant person and very helpful. Gina in the deli is extremely personable and pleasant. You have a great staff in this store! I enjoy shopping at this store.

There's my personal opinion, and then there's popular opinion, which often don't agree. However, the Fresh Market did come in first place as USA Today's Best Supermarket in America this year... and I was one of those votes. To be fair, this is one of four or five groceries in my area where I shop, and each one has its positive points. In terms of clean and organized, this is tops. Atmosphere, again top notch. Probably not the biggest or most "fun" or affordable, but you will find the highest quality products often not found at other stores. For a relatively small store (especially compared to big box) the variety is pretty incredible. Great, helpful people too. If I want produce, this is the highest quality. If you learn and shop the daily specials, cost is actually lower than many other places. Hope you try and enjoy it!

Seriously amazing service. Every person talked to me more than just 'how's your day/weather?' The music was inspiring and uplifting. Gave me that cozy feeling of fall...like the gift shop of a pumpkin farm. Surprisingly good deals, too!

Exceptional quality of fresh meat, produce, and products sold at this store. Although prices are high, you certainly get what you pay for. I don't always get everything here, but it is worth mentioning that rotisserie chicken is delicious, and a cup of coffee never disappoints.

I went into the Fresh Market on a search for the best salmon I could find. Trisha in the butchers section was very helpful in finding the best quality salmon they carried and also gave good tips upon how to season and cook it to the best way of eating satisfaction. Very helpful and polite staff they deserve a raise!

Best grocery store I have seen anywhere in the world, right here in Crystal Lake. It is a combination of an art gallery and a grocery store. We have been going there for years to get the cakes but now have started shopping for other items as well.

1. Bakery: 10/10. One of the best I have ever seen and taste is phenomenal even though some of the items come in frozen and are thawed. Some of the breads rival what you get in France and Italy bake shops.

2. Deli: 10/10. Pizza, sandwiches, Sushi is phenomenal and they have great products from Europe as well and the product range is extensive.

3. Produce section: 7/10. I am not convinced that their produce is any better than Jewel while being more expensive, but the display is awesome. I picked up some salsa that was better than anything I have ever had from Costco or Jewel.

4. Nuts and chocolates and goodies: 10/10. This is heaven for people who love their chocolates, nuts, candy etc.

Plus they also have products in grocery and frozen section that you will not find anywhere else, like A2 milk, Japanese mayo, etc. etc. I am amazed that they have such a variety in this small little store, I think it is because they do not waste isles upon isles on chips and soda and processed foods like other stores do.

Such a nice neighborhood grocery store. Gina in the deli remembers me, my kids names, and husband. She knows what I like and always makes sure I take advantage of the weekly deals they offer. The butcher/meat dept. is very accommodating and and helps me select the best cuts for my needs at the time. I always leave this store with a smile on my face.

Shopped here for the first time and had a great experience. All of the employees were friendly, helpful and gave great recommendations. Really enjoyed the fresh, quality produce and small store feel. Worth the price. Will be shopping here again! (Special thanks to Stacey, Charlie & the woman at the seafood/butcher counter!).

The other day I purchased the Mother’s Day meal, for my wife and myself. I would like to say that the two fillets that were picked out we’re absolutely beautiful. Two great looking pieces of beef, both over a half of a pound The asparagus was fresh, and just the right size; not too big not too small. The garlic whipped mashed potatoes were delicious and the chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert were large and beautifully decorated.The flowers with the package we’re in great shape, and the reusable bag it all came in my wife loved. I highly recommend it, and would do it again. Thank you Fresh Market,

I always have a pleasant experience. Great quality food. They sell corn souffle that is divine. I tried it back in November, and I am hooked. They have wheat croissants that are also delicious. I love going to this store.

What a great store. The Fresh Market is attractive, compact and has pretty much everything you could need. The produce section, deli, and seafood and meat counter are all excellent. Too many good things to mention but one thing I tried recently -- the store's cold smoked salmon -- was excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Fresh Market is a gem and deserves your business.

I love this Market! This market is just down the street from my house and they open until 9pm, so I come to this market quite often now. The market is super clean and well organized. I love the fact that all of staff is very friendly and they have a pride what they do including cashier. I can tell the management is taking care of staffs. I love their salad section and I usually pick kale and mix vegetable with pumpkin.
Their soup selection is awesome as well and my favorite is basil tomato soup.

I wanted to fill out the survey but, missed the 4 day window. I shop in the Crystal Lake store often. Trish in the fish department has been amazing! She is knowledgeable and always makes you feel you're the only one in the store. She's a keeper.

First time shopping here as I was in the area visiting. I loved it! Very clean, good customer service, nice selections of meat, seafood and a cheese counter.
It reminded me of the first time I entered a Whole Foods.(not as impressed anymore)
I will be back!

Great place to shop for food. I've never encountered an employee that wasn't more helpful than you could ask for, not pestering, but always around to help with whatever you might need.

This is my FAVORITE STORE in all of Crystal Lake! Not just my favorite "grocery" store, but favorite store of any kind! Please do realize this is an upscale supermarket, not the kind of place you would go to feed a hungry family, more so for the single professional or the a young couple or empty nesters. They do NOT have the low pricing or huge selection of the bigger grocery chains, they can be expensive, and some of their categories are very limiting in terms of choice. But, if you want truly GOOD FOOD that tastes wonderful, this is the best place in town to shop. Their produce section, deli and meat department are all first rate. The main reason I shop here is for their small but excellent deli. The fresh sushi they offer is some of the best you can get anywhere in town. The bakery has some outstanding bread, cookies and cakes, and I'm always buying something new to try, and I'm rarely disappointed. One of my favorite things about the store are their big barrels of whole-bean coffee, where you can scoop out the amount YOU WANT to buy, and either grind it in the store, or just take the beans home and grind the beans yourself. Plenty of excellent coffee choices to choose from. Another outstanding service they have are pre-packaged meals, already prepped, that you can take home and simple heat up and serve. Their meals are EXCEPTIONAL! It's a wonderful service and it's one of the areas I always like to buy from. I cannot recommend this store highly enough! And the staff is one of the very best I've ever encountered.
