Fresh Thyme Market

Just discovered this store, and what a gem it is! Light, bright, and smells great walking in. Amazing deals on certain things. Some things (mostly processed big name items) are expensive. I'd skip all those anyway.. where this place really shines is the selection of fresh baked goods, produce, meat and seafood and other items. The selection of vegan and allergen free products is better than any store I've ever been in. Vegan blue cheese!? & Ricotta?! & Croissants!? Allergen free cupcakes to safely bring to school!? 10/10 recommend this place.

I love, love, love the kid of colors that hit you the minute you walk into this place! It’s like a bag of Skittles just exploded and your senses become overwhelmed with the creative that was put into the overall design of the store.

Prices are good and the service is personal and helpful.

Love Fresh Thyme excellent meat and veggies, really upset they are closing stores. The Mt. Prospect Store was so nice now it is clised, really upsetting, they lost a good customet.

Surprisingly I found there were absolutely great sales! Amy's mac and cheese 1$ each.....a lot of the meats were 50% off and 20% off all frozen products. Their produce section is vast and affordable, again great sales. I love the selection of nuts, trail mix, candy. They carry a lot of Bach products...rescue remedy is fantastic! My husband recommends this in his practice. I also purchased Bach Rescue Pastilles which is a natural stress relief and the Elderberry lozenges which provides a winter remedy for immune support....and it works with Vit C 90mg Zinc 5mg ad Elder 12.5 mg. When looking for immune support please check out the Elder Berry. Fresh Thyme is the only place that I know with a fantastic selection and more than reasonable prices. I love this store! From the salad bar, to the organic foods and spice selections to the homeopathic remedies. Check it out friends.

I always enjoy shopping at Fresh Thyme. The food is high quality, the produce is excellent, and I can always find something new!!

I respect the company's values, such as offering local options when possible. It's cool to see brands I recognize from local farmer's markets and small businesses.

As someone with various diet restrictions and preferences, I appreciate that the price tags on the shelves include labels showing if items are gluten free, etc.

This is my preferred spot for produce because of the quality (prices are competitive too).

When they have sales on meat and fish, it's well worth it. I mostly only eat/buy poultry and fish but everything I've tried from their butcher is great quality.

There is also a decent body/hair care section. They stock a lot of smaller brands that care about the impact their products have on the environment.

It's the perfect spot for my lunch break, whether I'm grabbing lunch or something for dinner, because it's not too big of a store, and there are many quick and easy options (e.g., sushi bar, sandwiches, soup, salad).

All employees I've encountered at this location have been friendly, and the store is always clean and well stocked.

Wonderful produce and natural foods. More importantly, the bacon is first rate... it made my previously vegetarian wife start eating bacon again!

Nobody leaves good reviews anymore. So here are we go.. My husband went into this establishment after he left the gym. Bought 4 things. Left with 3.
I was leaving the gym 10 min later and he asked me to stop by and get his 4th item. No receipt no proof of purchase. Luckily the cashier remembered him and that he left his forehead on behind.
Explained the situation to them and they were very helpful and gave me my 4th item. Wonderful staff. wonderful establishment.

I love Fresh Thyme. We have a gluten intolerance in our house and they have more options and brands than most places. The produce is better than most stores too. Oh and the sushi is great :) definitely recommend. Lots of organic options

True to its name fresh thyme! Food is always fresh store is always clean and the washrooms are very clean. I don't like unisex bathrooms. As a female I don't want to go in a washroom and sit on a toilet seat that some man just peed on. sorry,, but you asked for an opinion

Was surprised that this place has such a variety of goods...including liquor section. Friendly, helpful staff. My 6 yr old grandson loves it because they have freebies for kids and small shopping carts (should invest in a few more of these as we had to wait for one but luckily one was checking out). I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were! Health food stores are notoriously expensive. Not all produce is organically grown, but what is and isn't is clearly marked. Highly recommended.

Decent selection, rarely crowded,. Produce is nicer that jewel or mariano's and the prices are not unreasonable. The staff is also nice

This grocery store is adorable and affordable! It cuts back the use on plastic bags and packaging by offering a bulk section of goods where you can bring your own jars, containers, or Tupperware to fill up on things like coffee, nuts, seeds, snack mixes, and nut butters. It also offers good prices on fresh fruits and veggies, carries many healthy food options (including vegan and gluten free items) and has a great sushi and salad bar for lunch or dinner on the go. I highly recommend! Be sure to get the app and save coupons to scan at your checkout for extra discounts.

My go-to grocery store for produce and meat. The prices on produce is usually the best in the area, and it's really cheap. The meat also regularly goes on sale. However, I wouldn't recommend it for other kitchen items as it is a bit pricey (I'd compare it to Trader Joe's). Otherwise, the staff is really friendly, and I recommend it for healthy eaters!

Place has a great way about it. You can immediately smell the produce as you walk in, great for my younger brother as he keeps an eye out for that little red tractor. Not too overpriced either.

I honestly always enjoy my experience here. They have a great selection, great atomosphere and great customer service. Today especially the cashier Taylor really went above and beyond to offer some exceptional service. I really appreciated the extra effort she put forth and believe her managers should definitely give her some recognition. She didn't have to take the extra step but did and was very kind, courteous and accomodating. Thank you, Taylor, for your kindness and wonderful service :)

Fresh Thyme's staff is always amazing! They helped me find a few odd ingredients for my Thanksgiving Feast. I love how fresh their produce always is--- and the prices are so low! I love that they also have so many vegan options! (Even vegan pies at their bakery!)
