Ace Hardware - Ziegler's

One of the last few real hardware stores with employees that understand their products. I am not sure what Beverly Ewert Adrian's issue was as I was greeted by at least 4 employees in the 10 seconds it took me to walk to the back of the store. She must look terrifying! Nicholas was incredible and custom cut and threaded some black pipe for me. Most don't understand this is a lost art in retail. Thanks for being there for me guys!!! <3

Great grill selections . I bought a Traeger and some spare bucket inserts for it. I forgot the bucket inserts at the counter. Leo called me a few days later and informed me I left behind the inserts. She looked up my phone number through my ace rewards account. Great customer service that was so nice of her to look me up and reach out !

I was a local home owner in Cary, IL and I always went to Ziegler's Ace before the big box stores and I was always impressed by their courteous and knowledgeable staff. Given the high level of customer service and satisfaction I experienced, I didn't think it could be topped until I had bought a Weber grill from this location. Not only did I receive the customer attention and service I had come to expect at this store but about a week or so later, I received a letter in the mail from David Ziegler himself thanking me for thinking of Ace to purchase my grill when he knew there are plenty of other places I could have shopped for this particular model. The letter was personalized to me, hand written, and signed (blue ink; not printed in any aspect) which included David's business card.

I'm very impressed with David and how he handles his business. I am in the business of customer service and I really appreciate his effort and dedication to the customer experience. I highly recommend shopping locally at Ziegler's Ace in Cary, IL.

Sure, we all go to Home Depot and Menard’s…we all look for deals online….BUT….when you really need that one odd part or you need to ask a question of a person who really knows hardware…you go to ACE!!!

A month ago I got a Stihl Blower, Vacuum Shredder. They assembled the Vacuum Shredder when I picked it up. The next day I tried it out and then went to assemble the blower and realized I didn't have the parts. I called Ace, told them of the problem and the parts were ordered right away. In a few days, I was back in business of getting the major amount of leaves in my yard taken care of. Stihl makes amazing products and Ace is awesome with customer service!
I recommend both!!

Always friendly and helpful staff. They are knowledgeable and care about service. I will choose this store over big box stores every chance I get. We have to support these local stores while they are still around.

I can't express how good an experience I had with words. Key cutting was blazing fast, accurate, and done by a human. The staff is beyond helpful, and the store is not so big that it's a chore getting in and out. I'm done with the big box chains. Ace is the place. Thank you

I've lived in Crystal Lake for 15 years and just recently discovered how awesome this place is.
The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to spend time with the customer.
Their grilling section should be the envy of all other stores in the vicinity. It just plain rocks. The assistant manager chatted grilling with me for quite some time and I will definitely be purchasing my next grill there. They have all the things a true griller can want and then some.

The team here at this Ace Hardware was top notch, I came here to Purchase my Traeger Smoker, and let me tell you, there is a reason they are a platinum dealer. They were well stocked, and had me in / out in no time!

My favorite place to go for anything I need. Good people who know what they are doing or talking about and always helpful. They do not act rude or behave like they are being put out. And they definitely don't dodge you when you need help. Like the Home Depot in Crystal Lake Illinois.

Ace is always the best place to go for household maintenance, supplies, paint, etc. They have everything you'd need for take care of your home, and its small enough that you can be in and out within a few minutes rather than having to walk 5-10 minutes around a massive store and still not get what you need.

Plus, if you ever need assistance, you can ask an Ace employee where something is and they always know exactly where it is, further making a trip quick and efficient.

Great place with still old school staff to find those odds and ends. Great yard and barbecue inventory. Plus a must for those special bird seed mixtures. Start here before the journey to the big box; at least you find one sooner who may recognize that whatyoumaycallit under the sink.

Just wanted to say thank you to the gentleman that helped me find the right parts for my kitchen sink fix. They were very patient and great for a newbies first time fixing things.

I like Ace. They always have tools and materials I can't get anywhere else.

I was in this place to get a copy of my key, fast service, very well ordered products, comfortable prices, and excellent hours open at 7 in the morning and close at 8 at night, for those who do not like it the agglomerations is perfect the only bad thing is that they do not have many options like in other stores of the same category

Everytime I come here I find what I need an if I can't find it the workers always help. The prices are reasonable too.

Called ahead to get my wife a yeti tumbler she wanted and asked to set it aside, arrived a few minutes before close and the employees were very courteous and had it rang up and ready. Appreciate it!
