Outstanding place to visit with the family. We would boat all through the summer, and one of the highlights would be to stop by the place with the family and enjoy their hospitality. Busy place. Great food, reasonable prices, the music the service are outstanding and just overall a great place to hang out with friends and family. They always have some sort of event happening and we went for the downstairs artic bar and WOW! What a great setup! Highly recommend it!

We came here last Saturday for the band, Brass from the Past. The band was amazing. I ordered the chicken tenders and tried the cheese curds. Both were delicious. Lacey, our server was excellent in providing great service!

Nice way to spend an afternoon in the sun, Eat outside on a summer afternoon. Like Jimmy Buffet says its 5 o clock somwhere. Food was good we both had different kinds of chicken sandwiches, service was fast, view of the Fox river. Been here to see bands, accessable by boat or car.

Beautiful day thought we would sit outside but they had a really nice permanent tent structure up and enclosed. Music is always great and free. Food is very tasty.

Went for a benefit. Modern Day Romeos was excellent and got the Saturday afternoon crowd moving. Our waitress was excellent amd

Food was pretty good! If you're looking for a very casual bar, this is a good place to go. Having gone in winter, the place was pretty cold, but I imagine its amazing in summer. The staff was friendly and the drinks were delicious!

Our first time at Broken Oar and it was wonderful. We brought our kids ages 2-12 to watch Infinity play for an all ages afternoon show and this was where they were playing. The kids loved watching the boats and the music was amazing as always. The staff was very friendly and food was excellent. Our kids ordered from the kids menu and the portions were full size in my opinion. I loved the atmosphere of people, everyone was very friendly. Having kids I was not using the portable restrooms as 1st choice but after a few trips with kids around the building and upstairs with I caved and used the portable ones right outside the music tent by the boat launch. Not only were the restrooms clean but had multiple stalls and running water. Our experience was fantastic and we will be back.

This was our first time here, and will not be our last! Our server, Rebecca, was absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious as well. It's on a beautiful spot on the Chain. We went to see the two cover bands for Van Halen and ACDC.. BOTH bands were outstanding! We can't wait to come back!

Really nice place to have a good time, good food , drinks and river view. Our waiter was super cool guy. I had hangover burger and was perfect. Juicy and tasty. Also they have live music bands Fri thru Saturday. They rock!

Fantastic place, the service was great as well as the food. We happened to be there when there was live music, very cozy place. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back here

1st time. Very busy. Had Mac and cheese is amazing Wow! Went during the Artic Night $5 with a drink enjoyed the Winter White Russian yummy. Our server Brittany did an excellent job! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Crazy crowded, but that's to be expected with the quality of the bands. The service is mostly phenomenal (again.... the CROWD!) Love the designated bike parking. ALWAYS a party at the Oar!

I really enjoy coming here, the atmosphere is wonderful. Very chill place to come with the family or ride with your buddies. The staff and service is great, boat docks and water views, bands and bikes, the food is great. There’s so much for your eyes pleasure and plenty of seating. Overall wonderful experience ever time.

Met up with a friend here for an early Saturday lunch. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with providing some suggestions and opinions on menu options. Loved the various sandwich and burger listings. Food tasted solid. I am looking forward to heading back to when it is warmer so I can enjoy views of the water and enjoying some music.

We've been here twice on bike nights and although we keep missing the sunsets, we never miss out on scrumptious food. Torrance was our super attentive waiter. We put away everything on the table. The renegade burger is bomb. My only complaint is that my feet have gotten eaten alive by mosquitoes each visit. I hope indoor dining reopens soon because we'll definitely be back for more!

What a great spot! Beautiful view of the river, live music, pretty good food. Feels like you are on vacation!
