Castaways On The Lake

The cocktails were great. It's the one place that made my cocktail just how I like it! The view is phenomenal. The ambience is wonderful and relaxing. If you're thinking about going, stop thinking and go. For starters, we had the shrimp cocktail which was amazing. I had the coconut shrimp and my friend had the key west pineapple shrimp skewers. Both were great but his was better than mine. The food was flavorful and delicious. Service was impeccable and the view to die for

Today was a good day to discover a new restaurant. My husband and I went to this super high-spirited place, we were outdoors facing the lake. How delicious is this food. The environment is very pleasant. Will definitely go back.

I have visited this restaurant three times in the last year while visiting family in Rochester. We always make our way to Castaways and marvel at how much this reminds us of our area back home in Florida.The views overlooking the lake are spectacular no matter what time of day you go but the sunsets are what really makes dinner outside on the deck amazing. Between the views and the quality seafood and steaks we enjoyed on this last trip I can't wait to go back.

My wife and I just had the best time and food. The view was out of this world. I love all the seafood on the menu and my wife loved the non seafood menu. Got to go back before they close for the winter.

Had a pleasant dinner by the water at sunset.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal with a view overlooking Lake Ontario. Everything we had was amazing from the drinks to the dessert. Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere. My suggestion is to get there so you can watch the sunset over the lake. Priceless!

I absolutely loved this place and our waitress Dawn was outstanding we had the best Easter dinner date!!! We got the best table after another couple left after we were already seated and Dawn had no issue switching us and we were so appreciative to watch the sunset. Everything tasted phenomenal & the price was worth it!! Definitely will be coming back when it warms up...

The food was amazing and the view was delightful.
It wasn't just the flavor, the food was also arraged in a very artistic way, the dish looked simply beautiful.
Our waitress, Kristin was kind and attentive. We enjoyed eating at this place.

My mother and I decided to try out this restaurant and we really enjoyed our food and the view. The hot crab dip was sooo good! I also had the lobster roll, while my mother order crab cakes and haddock in lemon butter. It was all very good. Our waitress Makayla ( I'm not sure if this is the correct spelling) was super attentive and friendly!

Excellent atmosphere right on the lake with great staff and amazing food. If you are coming on a nice day I recommend sitting on the patio especially right before sunset.

The view and the food are what makes this place. The drinks selection is good. The service was a little slow tonight--waited for about an hour for the food to come out. But the food is fabulous, the servers and hosts are all great, and the music guy is boss!!

This is always a great place to eat, but especially during warm weather. The view from the deck is so beautiful and relaxing! Food has never disappointed - it's worth every penny. Staff are friendly and attentive. An absolute favorite!

Really enjoyed the view and the food. The breeze off the lake made it prefect. Every flavor hit the spot. We had the fried calamari, and lobster roll. So good.

Amazing view of the lake ! Fantastic food with great taste. Excellent service. Theresa was our server and beyond the best server we have had in a long time. Theresa had exceptional attention to detail , making sure everything came out timely, fresh, and hot. We also always had a drink in front of us, which was very nice as it was hot outside. She made our dining experience lovely. Thank you Theresa you are fantastic at your job. Thank you castaways for a superb summer meal on the lake.

Loved the scallops and the honey buffalo shrimp ! Server was quick and efficient and the view being on the lake was gorgeous. Plenty of shade on the patio as well. Perfect dinner ! Oh and we took a key lime pie slice to go. Mouth watering good. Ate even every crumb of crust.

Had a lobster roll for my friend and I had the Onion soup. Both very good. View is to die for. Enjoy yourself here. Customer service was excellent.
