I wanted a nice white wine for my chicken stew. I never know what to buy. The sales girl was really helpful and helped me choose a nice...I think it was a Chardonnay. Not being an oenophile, I opened it (not in the store), poured a small amount in a wine glass, actually, I think it was plastic. Didn't bother doing the swirl and sniff, just took a sip. Niiice! It had a little sweetness I wasn't sure would work in my chicken stew, but I was using a medium sherry as well. Is that usually done, using two different wines in one dish? Well I reduced them down by 3/4. It was perfect. I'd use that combination for clam sauce. I think it would work. The stew turned out great!

What excellent customer service they have. When I arrived I was asked if they could help me find an item. I needed something specific for a gift. They directed me to their supply, and I selected what I wanted. When I checked out, they remembered it was a gift and asked me if I was interested in gift wrapping! A service I didn't expect.

I arrived to this store with my 20 month old daughter in my arms. A gentleman, who may have been an owner, not only helped me find the wine I was looking for. He also found and carried the other 3 items I needed to the register. One of the classiest things I have ever experienced. Great selection...even better people.

I drive past two liquor stores to go here. The prices are in line and the staff is super friendly. Had one minor issue over the years and instead of it being a hassle, they actually made it easy. Seems to me this kind of atmosphere and service is difficult to find these days.
